"In some really rare case, the slain boss monster might drop a loot. Although I have never experienced such before. There have been rumors here and there of some dangerous dungeons boss monster dropping some loot after they were slain.
Funny enough the difficulty of a dungeon could be determined based on the color of the portal. As you all know the entrance to a dungeon is usually a portal or a cave or even sometimes a door leading to the underground.
You can figure out the difficulty of the said dungeon based on the color alone. For instance, a dungeon with a white colored portal or glow around the entrance could be said to be lowest level of the dungeon.
Although it is the lowest level of a dungeon, it is still not advised for a 1 star mage or a battle sage to go in alone. It is advised to go in groups of 2's or 3's or more.
Then we have those with the yellow colored portal, those are for 2- 3 star mages or sages like us.
After that is an orange portal that is for 3-5 star mages or sages, which is definitely above our pay grade. Then there are the Red portal, the purple portal and finally the black portal.
At least those are the type of portal that we know about. " Otto explained, he was visibly happy that he had the chance to explain once again to the group.
Although he had talked about the dungeon a couple times already to the group, some of the group members didn't mind him repeating his stories and knowledge to them.
It was a way to cure the boredom that had accumulated within the group, so stories or tales by Otto was sort of a normal thing within them.
Gunt who was heating his hands near the burnfire suddenly asked "What do you think killed the elf? He had a golden knife impaled in his heart. Do you think the deed was done by another elf?"
The group was silent because of the question. They had never even stopped to think of the possible cause of death.
All they knew was that the body was already on top of the tree with broken bones and a knife impaled into the heart of the elf.
"I think it was done by another elf. Maybe it was done as a form of revenge or it was done due to jealousy. There could be many reasons for the possible cause behind his death." Efe said, trying to answer the lingering question that was on their minds.
"It could have been done by another human or even by a dwarf. The possibilities are endless for this matter. Whatever or whoever the cause of this incident was, has escaped peacefully.
The matter now had fallen into our hands as the unfortunate group that discovered the body.
Only if I did not want to find that special resource, I wouldn't have put us in this mess." Marat said in a sad tone.
"I guess we will truly never know the cause of his death." Otto said, also with an empathic look on his face.
The group resumed discussion and talked about numerous things that night before they went to their camp to sleep.
The next morning, they woke up promptly and started their search for a dungeon.
Dungeons were actually not that hard to find in the Fantasiaa planet. One just needed to search for the right place and they would eventually find the dungeon.
After searching for about an hour they finally found a portal that was hidden within the bushes. It was a lowest ranked dungeon.
The group was relieved that they could finally get rid of their burden. Gunt who was carrying Tim's body suddenly threw Tim to the ground.
"The dude is too heavy. Finally I get to get rid of this heavy load." He said in happiness.
Unknowingly to Gunt. Tim that was thrown to the ground with force, suddenly regained his consciousness.
He was brought back from the dead last night, but his body was too damaged for him to even regain consciousness. His elven regeneration had been restored, so his body began to heal all the broken bones and all the damaged part of his body.
It helped that Tim was wrapped up, so all the broken bones healed properly.
The golden knife that was impaled in his heart was removed and kept by Lazar. They all thought that it was a special knife, but it turned out that it was just a golden knife. Even if it was not that special they could still sell it in a market.
Whether it was special or not. The knife was made of gold and that would sell for an enticing amount to the group.
"Let us get this over with." Otto said, as he went over to Tim's body that was beside the portal and threw him into the portal with a swift and quick throw.
Tim was again slammed to the ground with pain jolting throughout his entire being. He was wrapped up in clothing like a zombie and he was in serious pain.
Immediately Otto threw Tim's body into the portal, Marat's eyes widened in shock.
This shock did not go unnoticed by the remaining member of the group, as it was plastered all over her face.
"Marat, what is the issue? You look as if you just saw a ghost." Efe asked in confusion.
Marat was the only female and the strongest in their group, so the males always worried and listened to her. They called it an instinctual behavior, but deep down Marat knew that it was so just because she was beautiful.
"I saw…. I saw the elf's body flinch when Otto suddenly grabbed it. It was not just any type of flinch. It was the flinch that was done when unexpected pain was introduced to the body.
Guys, I think that elf is truly alive. I clearly the body move." Marat said in shock.
