Episode 6: New Destination

Agent Alice Barbier - 4-Star Shadow Ranger | 48 years old
Summary:
Inside the jet, Kepler and Ren sit next to each other. Ren is observing the inside of the plane while Kepler looks at the window. Mr. Onzai makes a call with the lieutenant general that he has successfully collected the new recruits.
"What a nice jet! I've never been to a jet before," Ren stands up and starts exploring the jetplane.
"Can I -", before Ren can finish his sentence, Mr. Onzai gestures his hand with his communication device on the other and then suddenly silver shards instantly appear around Ren. The shards connect to each other by a silver light and then suddenly Ren gets teleported back to his seat.
"Whoa, so that's what your powers do," Ren says.
"A 5-Star ranger...", Kepler mutters.
"Stay seated until we arrive," Mr. Onzai commands.
Ren tries to explore the other parts of the plane but Mr. Onzai keeps on teleporting him back to his seat. After trying multiple times, Ren eventually gives up and sits peacefully in his seat. The two lock eyes and the butler signals him to sit and not do anything because if there is any mess inside the plane he will have to clean it later.
"Can I ask something?", Ren raises his hand.
"No." Mr. Onzai coldly replies.
"Aw," Ren says.
"Just kidding, of course, you can ask anything," Mr. Onzai says.
"Why is a 5-Star ranger, working as a butler?", Ren asks.
"Because I am not just a butler, I am a war butler. The best of my kind around the world. I moved to Canada from Japan to serve at Parliament Hill," Mr. Onzai responds.
Mr. Onzai hangs up the phone and sits in front of Kepler and Ren. Mr. Onzai sits comfortably on the chair and rests his hands behind his neck. He looks at the table in front of them and summons multiple silver shards.
"I'm bored, let's play a game," Mr. Onzai states.
"I don't like games," Kepler utters.
Mr. Onzai claps his hands once and a string of light connects all the shards together. When the shards are fully connected a timebomb suddenly appears in front of them.
"What the hell?!", Ren freaks out and tries to run away but Mr. Onzai keeps on teleporting him back to his seat. Mr. Onzai laughs while Kepler remains unbothered.
"What kind of game is this?", Kepler nonchalantly asks.
"I will ask you a series of questions and if you get them wrong the timer will decrease by 10 seconds," Mr. Onzai says.
"Wait what, no!", Ren yells.
"Fine," Kepler says.
"Okay, first question. What is the capital of Canada?", Mr. Onzai asks.
"Toronto!", Ren answers immediately.
"Wrong," Mr. Onzai reacts.
After the wrong answer, the timer on the timebomb goes from one minute to fifty seconds. Ren and Mr. Onzai look at Kepler, waiting for a response.
"Uh, can you ask a different question?", Kepler dodges the question.
"Wrong," Mr. Onzai says.
The timer goes from forty-five seconds to thirty-five.
"What is the national sport of Canada?", Mr. Onzai asks.
"Baseball!", Ren answers.
"Wrong," Mr. Onzai says.
The timer goes from thirty to twenty seconds.
"Maple Syrup? I don't know why is everything about Canada?", Kepler utters.
"Kind of wrong," Mr. Onzai says.
The timer goes from seventeen to 7 seconds.
"Okay let's change the topic if we are flying at 0.85 Mach and the distance between Rhode Island and Ottawa is 545 kilometers, how long will it take us from Rhode Island to Ottawa?", Mr. Onzai asks.
"Can we just go back to Canada questions, please?", Ren says.
"Wrong," Mr. Onzai snaps his fingers before the timer goes off and teleports the bomb outside away from them. The explosion causes a beautiful firework in the sky as Ren and Kepler observe at the window.
"The answers are Ottawa, lacrosse, and ice hockey, and 31.2 minutes. And speaking of Ottawa, welcome to Ottawa," Mr. Onzai points at the speakers and in just a few seconds the pilot announces that they have reached their destination.
"So it was a firework bomb," Ren annoyingly says.
"C'mon he can't kill us," Kepler says.
Mr. Onzai suddenly turns serious as he gets up and prepares for the landing.

The plane lands safely at the Ottawa International Airport, the three say their goodbyes to the pilot and the co-pilot as they step on the Canadian ground. As the two follow Mr. Onzai, Kepler says that he has never been in an airplane or airport before.
"So what are we supposed to do now?", Kepler asks.
"We need a passport and some documents, which we clearly do not have. Oh, and I think there is also an interview," Ren worries.
"It's fine, we will handle all the documents needed and there will be no more interviews, kinda," Mr. Onzai says.
He continues by saying there is nothing to worry about and that if they need to disappear in school, work, or whatever they will also handle that for them. He looks at them and says that Lieutenant General Benjamin Probe is quite influential. As the three walk to the airport facility, Mr. Onzai teleports them to a private terminal where they are greeted by a Canadian Supreme Intelligence Agency agent.

Mr. Onzai introduces the newly recruited members of "The Sky Rangers Project" to Agent Barbier and vice versa. Agent Barbier interviews them and asks them basic questions such as their full name, age, and country of origin. Chen Ren answers all the questions confidently, while Kepler hesitates to reveal most of his private information. Kepler tells her that his full name is Kepler Dash, and he is 15 years old but he does not reveal his country of origin. Mr. Onzai says that he obviously looks like he's from Southeast Asia but he's not sure where. Agent Barbier says that the name Kepler Dash doesn't make sense for someone from Southeast Asia.
Agent Barbier eventually gives him a pass for the extreme urgency of this mission and hopes for him to reveal more of his private information in the future. The CSIA agent clears everything and the two get welcomed to Canada. Mr. Onzai lets out a quiet "hooray" before they walk their way outside of the terminal. He locates where he parked his car and teleports all of them inside. He sits in the driver's seat, Kepler in the passenger's seat, and Ren in the backseat. Kepler utters how this entire teleportation thing still makes him uncomfortable while Ren complains about why he sits in the backseat.
"Sorry bud, but only rangers who can fly at hypersonic speeds can sit there.", Mr. Onzai jokingly tells him.
