Summary:
The wands leave a small crack on the snow globe but not enough to stop it. The snow globe flies into the sky while being powered up by the life force of the humans in Toronto. Every non-ranger in Toronto is collapsing and passing out due to the life absorption of the snow globe. The police rangers are patrolling and trying to help the civilians but nothing works.
"We're going to need more of those wands if we want to destroy it," Kepler says.
"Unfortunately, I can't shoot hundreds of those at the same time," Erik states.
The two helplessly stare at the speedily moving snow globe when all of a sudden, two fighter jets zoom across the sky. Kepler and Ren's watches start buzzing and receive a call from LG Probe. LG Probe apologizes for a lack of support but he tells them that he witnessed everything from the sky and already called backup.
"Ren is down, we need a medic… And a strong firepower," Kepler says.
"I know, they should arrive soon, don't worry," LG Probe tells him.
The snow globe is increasing in size and is already six kilometers above the ground. The fighter jets arrive and shoot it with missiles but nothing works. More and more non-rangers from the city are collapsing to the ground while the rangers are panicking not knowing what to do.
"It's useless, the missiles are not dealing any damage!", Kepler speaks to his watch.
"The snow globe is already seven kilometers above sea level, this is bad," LG Probe says.
"Do you think you can shoot more wands at it?", Kepler looks at Erik.
"I don't think I can hit it from that far, but I'll try," Erik starts summoning wands again.
As the three communicate more about the snow globe and the situation, a portal appears in front of them. The portal is a square of silver aura that instantly alerts the two. A familiar face peeks itself from the portal and waves at them.
"Mr. Onzai!", Kepler yells in delight.
"It's been a while, you guys look stressed, and this guy is knocked out," Mr. Onzai looks at Ren unconscious on the ground.
"What should we do?", Kepler asks while the fighter jets continue to attack the snow globe.
"Since you brought a new friend with you I also brought some friends with me," Mr. Onzai walks out of the portal and introduces Alice Barbier from CSIA and a new unfamiliar face.
"You already know me, I'm the CSIA agent from earlier," Alice Barbier steps out of the portal.
"And this one, she is Olivia Collins. She is the best healer in Ottawa," Alice helps Olivia step out of the portal.
Character Introduction: Olivia Collins | 28 Years Old | 4-Star Water Ranger
"Always ready for emergency," Olivia awkwardly steps out of the portal as Alice helps her.
"Where is the patient?", Olivia looks around the area.
"Here, his name is Ren," Kepler walks to his friend.
"My sacred water helps regenerate the body and alleviates injuries," Olivia summons a wave of water and pours it throughout Ren's body. His wounds start to close and his injuries begin to heal.
"I've only met you today, but I already feel like we've known each other forever," Kepler stares at his friend.
"I'll try to pull the orb down!", Alice summons a giant shadow claw and extends it to the sky. The shadow claw reaches the snow globe but Alice struggles to pull it down.
"I don't think my method is possible," Alice gives up and the shadow claw dissipates into the sky.
"My turn, well, again," Erik enhances the aura of his wands and begins to aim them into the sky.
"Ten of Wands: Inferno!", Erik releases them as they skyrocket above. The wands hit the snowglobe causing another small dent.
"It didn't work, damn it," Erik whispers.
"No, it did, it just the damage is very little," Mr. Onzai observes the snow globe.
"If I can shoot hundreds of them, I can possibly destroy it but I can't," Erik says.
"We need to come up with a better strategy," Kepler says.
LG Probe calls Kepler again. He tells them that that snow globe is now ten kilometers above. Kepler replies that if it reaches the stratosphere it will blow up the atmosphere.
"I'll call more backup, for now, we have a 5-Star ranger in our team who can possibly do something against this problem," LG Probe says.
"What am I supposed to do?!", Mr. Onzai yells at Kepler's watch.
"I don't know you are usually good at problem-solving and you are our most powerful asset, good luck, you can do this, superstar," LG Probe says before ending the call.
"That old man…", Mr. Onzai mutters.
As Ren is being healed, Mr. Onzai interrogates Erik about what happened in the city and the snow globe. They talk about the ice entities, the passing out of the people in the city, the snow globe, and Erik's interrupted birthday celebration. Mr. Onzai tells Erik to keep this mission a secret to not cause a nationwide panic while they fix the situation in the shadows. Kepler quietly watches the commotion above until he breaks the silence.
"Hey, Mr. Onzai, do you think you can teleport that thing to outer space or something?", Kepler points at the snow globe.
"I don't think that's a good idea, we don't know what will happen," Mr. Onzai observes the snow globe.
"Hey, Kepler, is it true that the snow globe is powered up by the life force of the non-rangers in the area?", Mr. Onzai switches his attention to the boy.
"Yes, that's what one of them told me earlier," Kepler nods.
"Then this should stop it, right?", Mr. Onzai throws two space shards above them and jumps landing his feet on the shards.
"Stay back," Mr. Onzai orders and everyone follows. He unleashes his strong fiery silver aura and expands it covering the entire square.
"Whoa, are you doing, Mr. Onzai?", Kepler wonders.
"I'm going to teleport all civilians to Ottawa, to cut down the speed down of the snow globe - hopefully stopping it," Mr. Onzai answers.
Mr. Onzai opens his arms and summons millions of space shards from the sky landing on each of the civilians throughout Toronto. In a few seconds, each of them starts disappearing in a silver glow. His bright silver aura glows through the dark night and his sheer power can be felt throughout the whole city. Kepler and the rest watch in awe as they witness the true power of a 5-star ranger.
