New Characters:

None

Summary:

"All right what's the plan?", Erik asks.

"Mr. Onzai can you teleport the snow globe to Lake Ontario?", Kepler asks.

"Even if you didn't say please," Mr. Onzai summons space shards around the snow globe.

"Ms. Olivia, you are a water ranger, right? Can you use your ability to completely cover the snow globe with water?", Kepler looks at Olivia who is still healing Ren.

"I might be a 4-Star ranger but most of my abilities are for defense and healing," Olivia stops healing Ren.

"Then you need to cover that thing with water like you are protecting it," Kepler orders.

"I think I can do that," Olivia answers.

"I've teleported it now to Lake Ontario," Mr. Onzai says as the giant globe of ice starts to melt on the sea but it is beginning to float back up again.

"Now!" Kepler commands.

"It's too far away for me to control," Olivia says.

"Then I'll give you a boost," Alice summons a huge shadow hand and wraps it around the water ranger.

"Seems like your problem has been solved," Kepler tells her.

The shadow hand extends until it reaches near Lake Ontario of which the snow globe has been teleported.

"And now my turn," Kepler rockets away and lands on top of the snow globe.

"I'll push it downwards and you cover it with water!", Kepler yells at Olivia.

Olivia extends the water from the lake and creates a giant sphere of water covering it entirely as Kepler prevents it from flying upwards. Olivia summons more water and the snow globe completely melts.

"Nice," Erik stares in awe.

"Seems like our atmosphere gets to live another day," Mr. Onzai says.

Alice pulls back the water ranger with her shadow ability. Kepler softly flies back to Nathan Phillips Square along with the others. Olivia goes back to healing Ren who is close to full health.

"I didn't know it would actually work, wow," Kepler utters.

"Origin rangers have a unique trait that they call Divine Intuition," Mr. Onzai explains.

"Divine Intuition?", Kepler asks.

"It is basically like communicating with the universe, and then the universe responds by either sending an image to your head or hearing words," Mr. Onzai explains.

"Val U also has this ability and based on what I've heard also Fifty Fifty," Mr. Onzai adds.

"Anyway, it's time to call-" Before Mr. Onzai can finish his words, LG Probe calls Kepler's SAS Watch. Kepler instantly answers it and the two listen.

"Good work, you stopped the snow globe. You can return the civilians back now, Mr. Onzai I know you are listening," the lieutenant general calls.

"It's getting really crowded here," he adds.

"I have to repair the damage here first before I transport the civilians back here," Mr. Onzai says.

"Alright," LG Probe ends the call.

The backup fighter jets with bigger missiles finally arrive at the scene but they miss out on the fight. The pilots of the fighter jets who initially came inform them that the snow globe has melted, and the four fighter jets return to Ottawa.

Back in the Office of the Prime Minister and Privy Council, the four celebrate as the first mission of the Sky Ranger is successful despite the mess it caused the public. The four prepare what they are going to say to the press later when they get asked again about the issue.

"The rangers who weren't teleported here have probably seen the entire thing in Toronto, which means we can't lie and tell them that it was an atmospheric phenomenon," The Honourable Angela Benett.

"Well, I didn't know that things would get worse," Lieutenant General Benjamin Probe defends himself.

"It doesn't matter, what is important is that we come up with a stronger explanation," Prime Minister Dustin Rideau says.

"You did mention that it was a terrorist attack, we can start from there. Mix the cover-up with some truth and the public is going to believe it," General Liam Walker suggests.

"I hate lying, but here we are," the prime minister says.

"I say let's tell them that the snow globe was a weapon that we were supposed to use against the terrorists but it backfired," the lieutenant general suggests.

"That's a good cover-up," the general says.

"Government weapon against terrorists gone wrong? Seems believable, I say we roll with it," the prime minister says.

"Well, I better prepare my script because I will be doing the interview later," the honourable stretches her arms.

"Speaking of interviews, I'm sure the other countries are going to see this especially the United States. I bet they're going to call the office of the prime minister later tonight and can I just say that I can't stand their president?", the prime minister looks annoyed.

"President Donovan Dump is definitely going to push the conversation to all these alien conspiracy and stuff and I hate how he's right. But still, we can't drag Americans into this. They are dealing with a lot right now," the prime minister says.

"A LOT," the general says.

"It appears to be that the two of us will have some cleaning up to do, but that is part of our job," the honourable utters.

"Anyway, I think that is all for this meeting. We need to get back to work," the prime minister stands up.

"If the Sky Rangers have more info about the enemies, what are they, their strength, their weaknesses, their motives, anything, tell me more about it tomorrow. Hopefully, they have more answers," the prime minister orders the lieutenant general.

"You can depend on me, Mr. Prime Minister," the lieutenant general assures. The rest of the military leaders stand up and leave the meeting area.

December 6, 2024 | 7:00 PM | Nathan Phillips Square | Toronto, Canada

Ren wakes up from his slumber feeling brand new. The healing ability of the doctor Olivia returns his body to full health. Kepler and the rest are delighted to see his recovery goes well. Ren first thanks Olivia for healing him, wonders who this new unfamiliar guy is (Erik), bows at Alice and Mr. Onzai, and then jumps toward Kepler when he finally sees him.

"Alright, what did I miss?", Ren proceeds to hug Kepler.

"A LOT," Kepler returns his hug.

"Wow, this place was in ruins before, what happened?", Ren observes the square.

"Mr. Onzai repaired the damage throughout Downtown Toronto," Kepler replies.

"Whoa, you can do that? I thought you could only teleport things and stuff?", Ren stares at Mr. Onzai with amazement.

"I can also teleport the particles of objects and stick them back together," Mr. Onzai proudly says.

"Alright, time to return the residents of this city," Mr. Onzai gathers his silver aura and expands it outside his body.

"Oh, yeah this place is empty where did everyone go?", Ren wonders.

"It's a long story," Kepler explains.

"Get rea-" Mr. Onzai suddenly stops and his aura starts to shrink and return to normal form.

"Why, what's the matter? Why did you stop?" Alice asks.

"There's an enemy nearby, watch out!" Mr. Onzai summons space shards and teleports everyone away.
