A SPY

Cherry had been feeling uneasy for days, sensing that someone was spying on her. Determined to get to the bottom of it, she decided to set up a CCTV camera. She had been suspecting one of the maids, and luckily, the camera caught one of them red-handed.

The maid was caught on tape trying to add a suspicious substance to Cherry's drink. Cherry's heart racing, she immediately contacted Liam, who rushed home.

Liam's face was grim as he arrived home and watched the footage. "Who is this maid?" he asked Cherry, his voice low and menacing.

Cherry shook her head. "I don't know, but I've been feeling like someone's been watching me for days."

Liam's expression darkened. "I'll take care of this," he said, his voice dripping with anger. "No one will harm you, Cherry. I promise.

Liam's eyes narrowed as he watched the maid, his expression cold and calculating. "Take her to the basement," he said to one of his security guards.

The guard nodded and grabbed the maid, dragging her away as she struggled and screamed.

Cherry watched in horror as the maid was taken away, feeling a sense of unease and fear. What was going to happen to the maid? And who was behind this attempt to harm her?

She turned to Liam, who was watching the scene with a cold, detached expression. "Liam, what's going on?" she asked, her voice shaking slightly.

Liam turned to her, his eyes still cold and hard. "Don't worry, Cherry," he said. "I'll take care of this. No one will harm you again."

But as Cherry looked into his eyes, she saw something there that made her feel uneasy. Something that made her wonder if Liam was more involved in this than he was letting on.

Cherry's eyes lingered on Liam's, searching for answers, but his expression remained unreadable. She felt a shiver run down her spine as she wondered what was really going on.

Meanwhile, the guard had taken the maid to the basement, a cold and dimly lit room that seemed to stretch on forever. The maid was thrown onto a chair, her wrists and ankles bound by thick ropes.

Liam appeared in the doorway, his eyes fixed on the maid. "So, you were trying to poison my wife," he said, his voice low and menacing.

The maid trembled, her eyes wide with fear. "I didn't mean to, Master," she stammered. "I was forced to do it."

Liam raised an eyebrow. "Forced? By who?"

The maid hesitated, clearly terrified. "I...I don't know if I should say," she whispered.

Liam's expression turned cold and calculating. "Tell me," he growled.

The maid trembled, her eyes darting around the room as if searching for an escape. "I...I was paid to do it," she stammered. "By a woman. She said she would hurt my family if I didn't do what she said."

Liam's eyes narrowed. "What woman?" he demanded.

The maid hesitated, clearly terrified. "I...I don't know her name," she whispered. "But she was tall and thin, with long black hair. She had a scar above her left eyebrow."

Liam's expression turned thoughtful, as if he was trying to piece together a puzzle. "I see," he said. "And what did this woman want you to do, exactly?"

The maid trembled. "She wanted me to add a poison to Mrs. Cherry's drink," she stammered. "She said it would make her sick, but not kill her. She just wanted to hurt her, to make her suffer."

Liam's eyes flashed with anger, and he took a step closer to the maid. "You're going to tell me everything," he growled. "Every detail. Or you'll suffer the consequences.

"

The maid cowered, tears streaming down her face. "I'll tell you everything, Master," she sobbed. "Just please don't hurt me."

Liam's expression remained cold and unforgiving, but he nodded slightly. "Speak," he commanded.

The maid took a deep breath and began to speak, her words tumbling out in a rush. "I was approached by the woman a few weeks ago," she said. "She offered me a large sum of money to add the poison to Mrs. Cherry's drink. She said it was just a harmless prank, but I knew it was wrong. I didn't want to do it, but she threatened to hurt my family if I didn't."

Liam's eyes narrowed. "What else did she say?" he asked.

The maid hesitated, clearly afraid of revealing too much. "She...she said something about Mrs. Cherry being a threat to her plans," she stammered. "She said that Mrs. Cherry had to be taken care of, and that I was the only one who could do it."

Liam's expression turned thoughtful, as if he was trying to piece together a puzzle. "I see," he said. "And do you know what these plans are?"

The maid shook her head, tears streaming down her face. "No, Master," she sobbed. "I don't know anything else. I swear."
