Late Reinforcement 2

Time seems to have frozen for Eclipse as saw the throat of the creature, even it's throat were filled with sharp rugged teeth. Eclipse desperately tried to look inside himself, hoping that in his moment of despair he would awaken his powers but Atlas nothing came. And then...

He was swallowed.

He fell into the mouth of the beast, death so near he could smell it, it smelled of decaying blood and flesh.

Upon entering his mouth, strangely no jugged teeth tried to eat him, all the mouth on the inner mouth of the beast closed up and as if refusing to have a taste of him.

Eclipse closed his eyes tight his expression filled with a more regal, raw emotion than fear—despair. He could feel the pulsing flesh, the flesh were too weak to crush him, then hot liquid so thick he could decioer that it was mucus began to flow from the flesh wetting Eclipse, he could fell the heat of the liquid.

'am being digested alive'. Then came the pain, he let out a feral screen akin to a dying disloyal dog. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrag.

But it was a fatal mistake as the liquid gushed into his mouth forcing him to shut up as he took in the new form of pain. His skin was flayed up leaving behind red muscles, his insides burning up.

'Is this how I die' Eclipse consciousness gradually faded.

'Damn, what a death fitting for a disloyal dog'. But then he felt a tumor not from his body but from the body of the creature that was trying to digest him. The tumor gradually became more constant and then he felt a force coming from the lower part of his body and with a wet splash he was ejected out of the body of the creature his back hit the the wall. Due to the force he broke the wall and imbedded himself on a metal rod sticking out of the wall.

His head fell limping down, as he saw the rod he had impelled himself upon, seeing his legs twisted as if ensuring he wouldn't try to walk again.

He lost consciousness, but not before seeing the person who had saved him. The third elder, a giant of an old man with a bald hair due to old age and white beard. The hammer he had supposedly hit the creature with, which had ejected Eclipse out lay limply on his side, the creature let out a furious feral growl as it pounces on the old man, eating the old man together with the cracked pavement filled with blood.

He was weak all over as he fought the dizziness, he wanted to stay alive he truly did but the weight of what has occurred seems to wear down up on his soul. looking at himself with blood pumping out from his chest where the iron rod has penetrated him looking down to his legs twisted as if ensuring he wouldn't try to walk again.

He looked at the pink colored sky with a single word leaving his mouth.

Before slipping to unconsciousness his life and death unknown

He lost consciousness with one word echoing through out his mind.

'Why'.

...…....

Few minutes back

Black patches suddenly appeared in empty, it was pitch back in color, then someone— a man walked out, he was wearing a black tuxedo wearing a plain white in the inner part of the tuxedo, short black hair, with a clean shaved face. He took in the environment with a grim expression on his face.

Figures started coming out of the portals, the different creatures around started walking towards them as if smelling the souls of the new arrivals.

A lady wearing a silver armor with an insignia of a peacock spreading it's feathers, each with different color.

Seeing the stains she practically let out a growl.

" Kill them." Without needing to be told twice the soldiers behind her gushed out and began to fight— no slay the stains.

The tall man on the tuxedo suit looked in a direction, the very direction Eclipse was battling with his life— more like waiting to die. His body suddenly blurred and vanished. The lady in command looked at the direction the man went to, then she frown she took felt the melovelent Aura, but thinking about the man she knew he could handle it.

Turning she saw her men slaughter their way through the stains and rescue the survivors.

She looked at the young boy of about seventeen years standing at her side and sighed as she spoke in a low voice and.

" Nether", she began " Nether and Aether they appeared in own world years ago fighting for dominance, their battle shock the earth, causing earth quakes and causing spatial storms. The earth in an attempt to stabilize itself fused with other dimensions, but that was the beginning of the tragedy that befell earth.

The young boy looked at his commander and shock his head, that was how she always was, always having monologue. He was used to it.

" How would you feel if suddenly giant trees sprouted out of the ground." Then she turned to look at the battle. "Desert and city flooded by waters that appeared out of thin air, ocean and green lands drowned in unending sands." Sigh "The new generation really have it easy."

She was only a child when she experienced the apocalypse.

And to say the least it

was traumatizing for her.

"By choosing to merge with other dimensions in order to stabilize itself, it lead to the earth expanding and the after it stabilized. Stains emarged, creatures twisted by the whispers of Nether, appeared there feasted of man and animals alike, they loved the taste of human souls, so the human population of about eighty billion people were reduced to half of its original size".

" And then humanity Saviour arrived, the soul Diary, this other-worldly entity sent Humanity to trials, upon surviving will gain supernatural powers but failure means death, after surviving the trials humanity gained the power to wield and harness Aether, this humanity fought back.

" Ma'am why have scouted round this shelter's boundaries and rounded up the survivors." A blooded soldier stopped her monologuing and reported the situation.

"Hmmm shelter, after the earth stabilized dimensional regions appeared, so times empty, other times filled with stains. Humanity chose to lay their foundation on these empty ones, and strong clans even wiping out the Stains on the realms there found. If the protection of a realm is strong enough it would be named a sanctuary, but if it's lower, it would be called a shelter. At least humanity still have a naming sense considering what we have been through.

The soldier behind her rolled his eyes but before he could speak, the man who left came back carrying something bloodied on his soldier.

" I will go first this one needs immediate treatment". Without waiting for them to react he went through the portal.

"That thing was human". She wondered aloud. Sighing she knew he would die unless he was treated by an awaken healer in a high realm.

" Gather all the survivors we are leaving this place". The soldiers left to carry out her others. " So we're we, ooo ok. Then.....

Flashback To Whan The Man Left

The man in tuxedo suit appeared to see a giant mold of flesh wigling towards what seems like a human, impaled on the chest with a metal rod, legs twisted as if condemning the thought of walking again, his skin or what remained of it was flayed to the point that the inner red muscles was visible, the mold of flesh suddenly turned as if sniffing the air locked it's numerous eyes at the man and then in a frenzy moved towards the man letting out disgusting growls the man looked at the beast then at the blood filled pavement, anger swelled inside of him he took in a deep breath and activated his soul shards drawing the power within them, then released his breath, the sound of his breath rushed out in an amplified manner, rushed from his mouth through his breath towards the direction of the stain.

Upon impact the stain stilled for a moment and then his body began to ripple, it's eyes bulging, all the fat in it's body began to shock and tremble, the sound dealing damage to it's body, and then with a bang it's giant body exploded in a gory wet sticky splash. The pieces of flesh began to wiggle towards each other, the man in the black suit took a step forward and the sound rushed out in all direction puparizing the flesh into tiny bits unable to regenerate. The man walked towards the still impaled boy on the wall picking up the soul shard the creature had dropped, crushed it, the soul remnant of the beast struggled and wanted to flee, but to no avail and was absorbed into the man's body.

The man sighed as he effortlessly took the boy and without caring about the blood and mucus on the body of the body began to walk in the direction he came from.
