After years of waiting and abandonment, Dyr is reunited with Novara on his deathbed, who gives him a fragment of flesh of "The Immortal", a being condemned to eternity. With this, Dyr acquires a responsibility he never asked for: to protect **Nanatori Novara**, the daughter of his mentor.



When a brutal attack sweeps in, Dyr makes a desperate decision. In an act of selfishness and desperation, she consummates Novara's inheritance and unleashes a fate worse than death for Nanatori: the same immortality that has doomed so many before her.
