For as long as history remembers, heroes have risen among humanity — those who lit the way and led entire generations forward. Fate had its own plans, and in this era, it chose an ordinary boy to take up that mantle. When he learned of his so-called destiny, he just smirked and said:
"Sure, tough guys don’t run when the world’s in danger… But who ever said I was one of them?"

What to Expect:
1) Gradual, initially slow, power progression for the main character. He starts off as an ordinary guy thrown into the world of DxD, weak and struggling, forced to earn everything through hard work and perseverance.
2) Deliberate pace. Since I’m in no rush, I’ll take my time exploring the structure of DxD’s world, the atmosphere of Japan, the protagonist’s daily life, and the supernatural setting in detail.
3) Deep dive into DxD’s worldbuilding. The original author left a lot of gaps, so I’ll be piecing things together myself. This means I’ll be putting extra focus on the power system and the mechanics of magic in this universe.
4) Much more realistic take on DxD. I’ve always found it odd that demons, angels, fallen angels, and even dragons all come across as too “nice” and “civilized.” Let’s just say… I have a different perspective.

This is a reupload of my old fanfic.
Let me make this clear — if you're not into any of the following, this fanfic probably isn't for you! What to Expect: 1) Gradual, initially slow, power progression for the main character.
Yeah, not for me i gave up in the first 3 ch since I didn't like the mc mother and with her annoying portrayal I presumed a reincarnated individual will never see her as a mother yet the mc doesn't.
My biggest problem with this fanfic is the excessive information. I don’t want to read half a chapter explaining why the protagonist can sleep for six hours with technical subtexts. There is too much information, much of which has been irrelevant so far—information that could have been simplified and condensed into a few paragraphs or even just a few sentences. There is so much information that, at times, you find yourself wondering if you should just skip all those technical paragraphs that have nothing to do with the main topic. Aside from that, this is a good fanfic—of course, if you ignore the excessive information.
(This comment was made after reading up to chapter 21.) The story is good so far and I like the direction that it’s headed. I’m excited to see a DxD fanfic where the mc actually pursues magic instead of relying on a sacred gear or devil bloodline. The system he as isn’t too OP at the moment, it just gives him some abilities here and there. I’m hoping he becomes a proper caster who fights using actual spells instead of a ‘punch mage’ that just uses magic to enhance himself physically and fights hand to hand. My biggest complaint at the moment is that the pace is too slow. Several chapters contain a bunch of unnecessary information. No one needs an entire chapter devoted to how he optimized his sleep schedule where a brief description would work fine. While I’m interested in the exploration of the magic system there’s a limit. The author has already given a decent explanation of how the magic system works, so going forward we as readers can use our imaginations to fill in any blanks the author may leave with much briefer spell descriptions. Overall, keep up the good work Author-san!

I like it! Great story! I have question, first will the MC create an organazation with his knowledge of atlas or will he share his knowledge or powers with others? Will the MC upgrade the optimize of human body, when he has more understanding of the life energy? To not only optimize towards the brain(mental power) but also the heart(life energy)?
I really like it. His rewards are well earned considering considering the amount of effort he puts into training. [img=update][img=update][img=update]
