The sun had gone, and the world was dark.
In that dark world was a dark, dark forest
In that dark forest stood a dark tree.
In that dark tree was a dark nest.
In that dark nest lived a sad, poetic soul.
The soul recited poems to comfort his sad and lonely soul.
I want to eat it.
want to eat chicken.
But I can't eat it
Cuz I am the chicken.
Instead,
I will be eaten.
Cuz I'm the chicken."
[Shut up, bastard. Why does writer have to write shit like this. That's why he has zero fans.]
"What's wrong with being a poetic soul?" Ren shot back innocently.
[You're no poetic soul, you fool. You're just a damn bum!]
The system's mocking made Ren a little angry, but he controlled himself because today was….that day.
"Yes, that's right. Today is the day when a new history will be made."
"Yes, today is the day a new legend will begin."
"Yes, I am going fishing today!" Rain cheered happily.
"[A reincarnated chicken is hunting. Hmm, that sounds awesome]," the system teased.
"Shut up!" Ren roared.
Just as he was about to go fishing, he suddenly remembered something.
"I haven't checked my status for a while; I will just do it now."
Ren visualized a screen before his eyes, showing his skills and other info.

"Almighty system, what can I do with 56 sacred energy?" Ren asked thoughtfully.
The system seemed to be thinking for a while before answering.
[Hmm, with that meager (very little) energy, all you will be able to do are some simple things like summoning simple tools, making objects disappear or appear and some other things]
Hearing that made Ren saddened a little.
"Is that all? And here I was getting all excited. Looks like I have to collect more energy for my grand plan," Ren said with a sly grin.
Just after, he set out to hunt.
Today he was going to hunt… an ant.
Yes, an ant. One week ago, after getting somewhat good at flying, he had gotten too excited, which resulted in a fateful accident. He had crashed near an ant nest.
Ironically, the ants that lived there were bigger than Ren himself, even though he was a bird. Those ants were at least ten inches tall and twenty-five inches long.
After witnessing their size, Ren had decided to hunt them because he was very jealous of their size. He couldn't stand being shorter than them, so he wanted to show them who was the boss.
Although he would never admit those facts, there was another more important reason for his desire to hunt: he wanted to try sacrificing the corpse of animals or monster to see if he can receive sacred energy from it.
Even though he was a small bird now he didn't let that discourage him. He still moved forward. I mean, who wouldn't want to be super strong after reincarnating in a fantasy world? Who will save those poor elves from greedy humans?
During the past week, Ren had been planning to hunt those ants, and today was the day he would put that plan into action.
Spreading his wings, Ren soared in the sky towards the ant nest.
When he reached near the nest, he saw them again.
Big ants with sharp and strong mandibles carrying things at least ten time of their size.
"Damn, never in my wildest dreams had I thought ants would be this…. scary are those even ants? What kind of ants have horns? I bet they are some monsters."
Grabbing that opportunity system made fun of him again.
[Aww, my baby, did those ants scare my baby? Olelelelele, don't be scared. Olelelele… Pffft!]
"Wh-who said I am scared? I don't fear
nothing, you hear me?" Ren defended.
[Yeah, yeah, yeah… I completely, truly, seriously believe in you.]
