The First Miracle: Money Grew on a Tree

Mohan Galt, a humble and wise 22-year-old young man, was returning home to his village from the city.

He had blue eyes, dark hair, a tall and slender body. He was taller than average, standing at 5 feet 8 inches of height. His looks were just above average, but what was most noticeable about him were the dark circles under his eyes.

The young man's face was filled with depression, anxiety, and worry. He seemed lost in thought and his eyes seemed to lack focus. He was currently returning to his village from a city called Poria City.

The reason behind Mohan's depression and worry was the current state of his village, Maple.

A few weeks ago, Mohan had completed his studies in Poria City and returned to his village after five years. Five years ago, after recognizing his talent for studies, the villagers had gathered money to send him to the city for his education.

Now, after five years, he was hoping to repay them by opening a school and teaching and educating the villagers by spreading his knowledge.

But when he arrived, he was deeply shaken by what unfolded before his kind blue eyes.

The villagers were sick, poor, and starving. The entire village was on the brink of collapse.

After witnessing the poor situation of his village, Mohan tried his best and gave his all to improve the situation. He used all the money he had saved for the sake of the village. Things were slightly better for a while. But as his funds ran out the village slowly started to return to its former poor state. So, Mohan had no choice but to rush back to the city to gather some money and other necessities.

He hoped to find someone willing to lend him funds, but his hopes were crushed when he realized that no one was willing to help. Disheartened and depressed, Mohan returned to his village while worrying about the villagers.

When Mohan lost his parents at the age of 3, the villagers accepted him and raised him like their own child. Now, not being able to help his village made him extremely sad.

Mohan had no idea what to do next or how to save the villagers from their current state. He felt lost, and his despair only grew deeper and deeper. He was only moments away from fainting due to exhaustion when he suddenly saw a note of hope, I mean money.

On a lonely and long road at the edge of a vast and beautiful forest, surrounded by hills, Mohan spotted money. But that wasn't the strangest part—the real shock was that the money,10 Beni note, was growing on a small plant.

Seeing unbelievable sight in front of him, Mohan doubted his eyes at first because after all, what were the chances of money growing on a tree in a place like this?

At first, he was in shock and disbelief but he quickly regained his composure and extended his hand to touch the 10 Beni note desperately hoping for it to be real. (In this world 10 Beni is enough to feed a family of four for four days)

( Note: this world's currency is called Beni)

As he touched the note and felt it in his fingers, he realized it was real. Just as he was about to withdraw his hand, a folded piece of paper fell to the ground from that 2-feet tall plant.

Mohan picked it up and unfolded it, recognizing the letters that were written there. He began reading it:

"Have faith in Lord Vasudev. For he has faith in you."

"Believe in him, pray to him."

"The God of miracles and the one with otherworldly knowledge."

"The Great Vasudev."

Mohan was a wise person, so he knew to move forward in life one has to take some risks.

Mohan decided to follow the instructions from the note, and he picked the plant up and decided to take it back home to his village.

If he managed to raise the tree well and grow it, he believed he could solve Most of the problems of his village.

When he reached the village, the villagers came to greet him. Their eyes were filled with guilt for burdening a young man with their problems.

He smiled warmly at them and decided to give them what they desperately needed to move forward.

Hope… they needed hope, and Mohan will give it to them in the form of a small plant and someone to pray to. now they were gonna have a means to improve their life as well as someone to give them hope.

He Introduced the plant to them and explained how it could solve their problems as well as about the paper note he received.

The villagers were reluctant at first but when Mohan persuaded them thoroughly and carefully the villagers decided to believe the youth and start praying to Lord Vasudev.

A month later, under the care of Mohan and the villagers, the money plant grew splendidly. In just a month, it was 9 feet tall tree with lush green leaves and hundreds of money notes were hanging like fruits. The sight of it was both amazing and unbelievable.

With the money from the tree, the villagers' lives slowly improved for the better. Every morning and evening, all the villagers gather in front of the tree to pray to their new lord.

The tree was named "The Tree of Wealth" and was located at the center of the village.

After all the villagers, which were around 200 in number, gathered in front of the Tree of Wealth, they knelt down, clasped their hands together, and prayed:

"The God of Miracles,

The one with otherworldly knowledge,

The Great Vasudev,

We pray to you, please grant us with your blessing."

In the tallest tree of that village, a small white bird was sitting quietly with an extremely satisfied expression on its small bird face. The bird seemed to want to say something but he couldn't so he muttered in his mind.

" Nice"
