Living in the Temple

"And I am the apostle of miracles."

The villagers were shocked and stunned at first, but soon they regained their composure and invited Ren inside the village.

They took him where the sacred tree; The tree of wealth was planted. Its green leaves, as well as the money notes, were dancing in the wind, the sight of it was strangely mesmerizin.

Soon, all the villagers gathered together to witness the apostle of their Lord in all his shining glory.

Ren wasn't much of an actor, but he knew he couldn't mess up here, or all his hard work might just go to waste. If the villager caught him red handed, who knows what they might do to him.

He remained focused all the time, not letting his guard down even for a moment. The calm and gentle expression never left his face as he said in a soothing voice, "I have already introduced myself, so I will not waste the most valuable thing in the world."(time)

"Through my lord, I have come to know that you all are also his followers and in need of some support.Therefore, Lord Vasudev has entrusted me with the mission of watching over you while residing in his temple."

Ren had thought the villagers would be suspicious of him and ask him all kinds of questions as well as interrogate him, but they did none of that.

They were simply overjoyed. As soon as they heard his words, they became very happy and excited. They started behaving like cult fanatics.

Some burst into tears, some kneeled down, some started screaming in joy, some even danced.

Ren, who watched all this from the front row seat, had an unreadable expression on his face.

"I just said some bullshit and they start dancing in joy! Damn idiots. Now I feel bad deceiving them." Ren muttered quietly under his breath while maintaining a gentle and calm expression on his face.

Soon, the commotion died down and the villagers took him to the temple.

Ren looked at the temple with an expression that was a mix of awkwardness and excitement.

"Back on Earth, I would have never thought that one day I would be living in my own temple as my own apostle while deceiving hundreds of people.Gods really do live in temples, don't they? Haha… I don't even know what to feel about this." Ren muttered as he mocked his own shrewdness.

The temple Itself wasn't that big. It was only 12 or so meters tall and 8 meters square wide. It was adorned with beautiful colours and simple yet elegant designs.

The colourful temple in the middle of the green village looked just like a cherry on top of ice cream.

The temple was simply designed and beautifully coloured. Once they reached in front of the temple's door, one of the villagers stepped forward and opened the metal door.

As the door creaked open, the inside of the temple could be clearly seen. Ren curiously gazed inside and he soon came to realize that inside of the temple was completely empty.

Well, it was no surprise. They had just finished building it and had no time to put anything there.

Even if they had the time, Ren was sure they didn't really know what to put inside.

For instance, they didn't even know what their lord looked like, so they couldn't even put a statue there.

Ren calmly stepped inside the temple. His stepps were gentle and calculated grace.

The villagers were awestruck by the grace with which their lord's apostle walked and moved his body. They couldn't help but feel respect and admiration towards him.

Changing back to human had taken him less sacred energy than he expected, so Ren decided to do something else with his remaining sacred energy.

[Villager's POV]

The villagers watched anxiously as Apostle Ren entered the temple they had just built. They knew the temple was too small for someone to reside in.

So, they were going to offer Apostle Ren to reside in the best house of the whole village. But before they could even bring out the topic, something unexpected happened that completely froze their whole being.

It wasn't from fear or shock, but from sheer amazement.

Apostle Ren flicked his fingers and a brilliant white light enveloped the whole temple.

When the light died down,the villagers got too see miracle happen right in front of their syes.

The outer structure of the temple was completely the same, but the inner structure of the temple changed completely.

The space Itself miraculously expanded about dozens of meters. Once the expansion ended, a mysterious wall with four shiny doors appeared in front of them.

At the other side of those doors was the space that had been previously expanded, perfectly camouflaged by the wall and four doors.

The first two doors were wide open revealing what lay inside.

The first door contained a big room, equipped with some furnitures.

The second door contained a big hall.

But the third and the fourth doors were closed shut.

Ren calmly stepped inside the first door as if it was the most natural thing in the world, leaving behind the completely bewildered villagers.

Inside the first door was a big room with two beds, a table, and some wooden chairs.

This was the place he was going to live in from now on.
