Married To A Stranger

Soft organ music filled the air, and whispers from people could be heard from different corners.

Liam stood at the far end of the altar close to the priest, who stood patiently as they all waited for the bride to make her grand entrance.

Liam looked cold, and his frown wasn't hidden. However, the guests felt he was stressed about the marriage preparation.

Many ladies were heartbroken because their sweetheart was finally off the market, and there was no chance for them anymore.

He is a cold billionaire with handsome features. He is the type of guy any woman would want for herself, but rumor has it that he is cold, arrogant, and has a lover he has been waiting on.

They believed he was getting married to the same lady, but the announcement was only known by top figures, which is one of Liam's conditions.

He agreed to get married but kept his wife a secret from everyone, and that worked well for his grandfather.

"Here comes the bride!" A loud voice said, making everywhere fall into complete silence.

Aurora walked in slowly, her grandfather beside her in a wheelchair, looking as healthy as ever; one would doubt that he was the same man who looked like he was about to die the previous day.

Though in a wheelchair, he smiled as she looked around the hall filled with his fellow business partners.

He was the happiest in the hall because he witnessed his granddaughter marry the man he wanted.

His dying wish, and it's finally here; now he can die and be happy, knowing fully well that his blood is in safe hands.

Aurora looked at her groom ecstatically. If only she could increase her pace. She wished she were standing face to face with him to see his handsome face closely.

But she had to keep pace to avoid looking desperate and being an unusual bride.

Liam held out his hand as Aurora finally reached where he stood. His look was cold and gloomy, but that didn't stop him from showing respect to Mr. Eric, whom he recognized instantly.

The lady before him looked beautiful; he would admit she had more attractive features than his first love, but that doesn't mean he is in love with her, nor does it make him interested in her.

"Please do this real quick." He said this only in the priest's and Aurora's hearing, and the priest looked surprised.

The look on Aurora's face fell, but she cheered herself up immediately; it was her big day, and it was once in a lifetime.

"Let's go straight to the vow." The priest said after recovering from his shock.

Thomas and Eric looked at each other understandingly as they stared at the two adults. Their dreams had now come to this, which is what any grandparents would pray for.

Lisa had a smile on her face as she stared at her friend, who took her vows in ecstasy.

The deed is done, and she could only wish it would end well for her and everything would fall into pleasant places.

She sat close to Andrew, who had a smile on his face. However, underneath the smile was a scowl no one could see.

He felt bad about the marriage but couldn't do anything since it was too late. Every other plan would come after their marriage.

"You may now kiss your bride." The priest said with a smile.

Liam's Point Of View

I can't believe I'm marrying a woman I don't know.

Getting married to a woman you just met on marriage day is new to me, but my grandfather made it happen.

The girl looked beautiful. Her features would attract any man. If Sophia hadn't been in the picture, I might have been attracted to her, but then she would be nothing to me now.

All I feel towards her right now is nothing but hate because she had to agree to these ridiculous terms of getting married to a man she doesn't even know.

I'm sure she is a gold digger, and she only agreed to do this because of the massive sum of money my grandfather promised her, but I'm going to make her regret this decision from now on.

Dad had to make his friend walk down the aisle with her, probably to make the guests think the woman he got for me was of the same caliber as I was, but no one knew he was just an escort.

They made all of this look authentic, as if a mutual understanding existed. The girl seems happy about it, while I'm not.

On the other hand, my mom had a scowl on her face; if. If only she could stop this from happening, she would have done that before now, but she doesn't have what it takes to disobey my grandfather.

"You may kiss your bride." The priest said, smiling sheepishly.

The hall was filled to the brim, and I remember telling my grandfather I wanted something little; the only thing that made this whole thing look simple was the absence of paparazzi, but that wouldn't stop this whole thing from getting out.

I lifted her veil and moved closer to her. She looked even more beautiful. Grampa must have taken his time to pick her up.

I leaned close to her ears, making it look like we were in an intimate position.

"You must think this is your fairy tale marriage, right?"

"Let me tell you this in advance: I'm going to make sure you regret accepting to marry me in the first place."

"I'm going to make this marriage a living hell for you, so make sure you are well-prepared to face everything I have in store for you."

I moved backward a bit before pecking her on the cheek.

The congregation was filled with screams of excitement and laughter as their clapping filled the air.

Now, I'm a married man with a mission.
