Chapter 3- Miracle

As time passes the surrounding air gathered around Ivagi's body. His muscles twitched and seemed to connect torn tissues. The air seemed to have healing properties. There was a flower beside Ivagi that dropped down green liquid over time.

A man with a hunched back slowly approached Ivagi and gave off a strange smile. Ivagi was still unconscious and didn't know what was happening. Time slowly passed and Ivagi finally opened his eyes. He quickly grabbed his chest but did not find the sword that pierced him. He was in disbelief. He checked his body and found no injuries, it seemed to have completely disappeared.

The hunched back man suddenly arrived in front of Ivagi and punched him.He spoke "Hey kid it's good that you are awake, I thought you'd be asleep. forever." Ivagi grunted and stood up. He felt that punch would've seriously injured him before but right now he only felt a bit of pain. His body had undergone some changes and seemed to have developed and strengthened a lot. His height has also increased and his face looked sharper.

"Who are you?" Ivagi questioned. The old man smiled and said "Don't worry you will know everything. But first come with me for a moment.", Ivagi could only follow the man. He followed the man to a room carved out in the cave with caution. "Kid you're lucky to have survived that. You're the last of the Ophis bloodline. It's sad that the power seems to be wasted on you. You even used my 10000 years old Garjing flower to heal up.You know how hard it is to get that flower? It is considered a treasure among many conjurers. It's petals only bloom once every 3 blood moons. Hmph." the man said with arrogance. "How much time has passed? And what do you mean by bloodline who am I?" Ivagi quickly spoke.

The man slowly sat down on a chair and spoke " You are of the Ophis bloodline is all I know and that sword that pierced you, I've seen it before. It is those underworld savages. Your parents seemed to have messed with them and now look at you almost dead."

"Are these guys some magical beings? They seem to hit me with some kind of power. I can't possibly fight back. Also who are my parents and how did they die?!", Ivagi said in a rushed tone. "Calm down kid, I don't know anything about your parents. I just know they are of the Ophis bloodline. You seemed to know nothing at all, Tch Tch", the map sighed.

"I am grandmaster Rokan, I used to be a powerful ki user back in the days but I've grown and have lost a lot of strength. And yes many people in this world possess "magical" powers like you said. They are called conjurers.", the man answered.

Ivagi pondered and spoke,"I want to find those guys and pay them back a thousand fold. I don't have a lot of time, please get me out of here.". Ivagi thought of sister Erza and wondered how she was doing.

"Calm down kid. Do you even know how long you've been in here for? You've been sleeping for a full five years. The people you know are probably dead. Those underworld savages don't leave anyone alive.", the man stopped Ivagi.

Ivagi was dumbfounded and was extremely worried for sister Erza. He then told the man to help him get stronger. The man nodded and said, " I will help you but you will have to pay me back when the time is right.".

The man told Ivagi to follow him and they headed inside a chamber.Ivagi looked around and found that the material used to carve out the tunnels were not something that could be found on the surface. They headed into a dark room, it had glowing altar in the middle. "Sit down". Ivagi sat down in a meditating position. The man then spoke,"The first step to being a conjurer is unlocking your dantian, then you absorb qi from your surroundings while synergizing.". Ivagi sat there for hours and barely made any progress. The old man frowned and said,"Focus, think of yourself as merging with the world and borrowing it's power."

Ivagi started meditating again. After some time his body was covered in a lot of sweat but the area around his abdomen seemed to give off a faint glow. He kept on breathing in and out as if he was dispelling all the impurities from his body. Ivagi then stood up and he looked fatigued.

The maid said," Good you have unlocked your dantian and absorbed some qi too! Not bad, you can be called almost invincible in strength among the mortals now. Your body has far surpassed everyone else's."

"We conjurers vary in different ranks and mostly use spells after becoming 1 starred conjurers. There are a total of 9 ranks and only that only few have reached the legendary nine. You still have a long way to go kiddo." , the man explained.

"What star are you at then?", Ivagi questioned the man. The man said, "Well I am currently at around 4 stars since my power has weakened but I used to be a lot power back in my prime. Around 6 stars you could say. Hmph".

"But why are you helping me tho? Am I special like some main character?" Ivagi spoke with excitement. The man laughed and said,"You're funny kid, I just helped you because I don't like those underworld savages either. Also your talent at most is average. You took 3 days just to unlock your dantian. So don't dream kid.".

Ivagi's excitement died and he didn't speak further. "Well you can try improving by going to the Zelda Academy but I doubt you'll be able to enter like this." the man looked at Ivage and handed him a badge and some coins.

This was the first time he had touched so many gold coins. Ivagi gulped and gave a thankful bow. The man said," I have to go into my slumber soon. I don't have a lot of time kid. I hope you become stronger in the next 10 years. At that time you can take my ancestor's inheritance. Be cautious of those underworld savages especially, I don't know what grudge they have with you but they are extremely powerful.".

After explaining Ivagi about different conjurers and threats. The old man handed him a book and a token. He then let Ivagi out of the cave through a teleporter array.

There was a bright flash and when Ivagi opened back his eyes he was in the wilderness. Ivagi started moving towards Zelda's capital 'Arkhem'. It was a 3 days trip. He had enough goods to last the first year at the academy but he would have to financially support himself soon.
