Chapter 4 - Enter Zelda academy

Ivagi decided to return back home before leaving for Arkhem (Capital of Ryuban continent) . He also hadn't seen sister Erza in a very long time. He moved through the forest and walked for a long time before he arrived back to the slums.

The interesting thing about conjurers was that they did not get tired often and barely had to drink and eat. So, Ivagi reached home pretty quick. He asked around to the people about sister Erza but they didn't seem to know he whereabouts. The people all strangely looked at Ivagi and seemed to remember him. One of them called out his name but Ivagi ignored it since he was in a hurry. Ivagi was a neglected boy and not many cared for him so his disappearance wasn't that shocking. Some even thought he died but what would they care for?

Just then a man came up to Ivagi and told him that sister Erza had gone missing around a year. Ivagi was shocked to hear this and he quickly tried looking for more information but was unable to get a clue as to what happened. He decided to go to the academy and get more help from there.

The next day Ivagi was preparing to leave, he didn't have many luggage as he was quite poor. He sat down and meditated for a while. He had grown a bit strong and looked bulkier. His muscles had become more toned as well. He then decided to read the book given to him by Rokan. The book contained some basic spells that would come in handy in the future. Grandmaster Rokan had also given him one of his main spells

that Ivagi could try and master over the years.

After sorting out everything he left the slums and got the ride in a carriage for Arkhem. There were a few other people in the carriage and they all were conversing. They slowly moved through different villages and cities.

It was night time and Ivagi was sleeping on rags at the corner side. He was woken up by a silent whisper. "Hey dude, are you a conjurer too?",a man whispered to Ivagi. Ivagi was startled to see the man as he didn't have time to remember everyone's faces on the ride.

"I'm Lumen nice to meet you.",the man gave off a friendly smile and waved. Ivagi nodded and introduced himself as well.

"Ohh so you're trying to enter Zelda academy as well, I'm also trying to get selected there. We should go along together from now on.", Lumen gently spoke. Ivagi remained silent and only gave a slight not. He didn't want to bother with people but since Lumen seemed to be trying to enter Zelda Academy as well, he thought it would be fine.

They both conversed all night long. Soon it was morning and the carriage had reached halfway towards the destination. Most of the people inside got off at a point and only five people along with Lumen and Ivagi remained. They got off at a field to stop and eat. Ivagi sat beside a tree and ate his supper. He was then joined in by Lumen.

One of the people in the carriage approached them and gave a greedy stare. He said,"Listen up punk, hand over everything you have and I'll let you go. Don't think about pulling up any tricks I'm almost a 1 star conjurer and have won a lot of fights." The man boasted around. He was very big in size and gave off a strong aura. Ivagi and Lumen looked gloomily at each other. Lumen was sure this person was not bluffing and actually dared to rob them in broad daylight.

Ivagi stepped up and said,"You can try your luck go on. We don't have a lot to lose anyways. We will take you on if that's what you want." Ivagi gave off a smirk and looked at Lumen. Lumen immediately understood what Ivagi was trying to do. The man roared at Ivagi and there off a punch. It grazed by Ivagi and missed. Lumen quickly threw a kick from the side but the man blocked it.

"You are looking to die. Fine I'll let you die in peace then.", the man started to grunt and his hands gave off a dim glow. He was using qi on his fists to strengthen them.

Ivagi quickly noticed this and backed up with Lumen. The man rushed at both off them. His body was huge and it was hard to dodge. Ivagi jumped and bounced on top off the man's head. Lumen dodged in-between the man's crotch and landed a powerful punch in his groin. The man screamed and looked pale. He swung his fists madly. Ivagi grabbed some sand from the ground and threw it at the man blinding his vision.

The man covered his eyes. Just then Lumen landed a Elbow a his chest and the man coughed. He was knocked down. "Please I'm sorry, I'm begging you don't beat me up anymore.", the man pleaded.

"Hoooo so you're just all talk then, too bad hand over all your stuff.", Ivagi responded. The man quickly gave everything. He then fled away in the distance.

"What a moron, trying to fight 2 conjurers at once.", Lumen mockingly said. They both smiled at each other and went back inside the carriage. It was time to leave. In the carriage Ivagi continued to think about Sister Erza and where she could've gone. She was one of the few people that had supported him during emotional times. She gave him food now and then and even taught him to write. But now she had gone missing and Ivagi was away from home. He felt a bit homesick and wanted to stop right now and go look for sister Erza but he knew he couldn't. Ivagi sighed and looked at the stars outside.

Suddenly his head started to hurt and blood flowed out of his nose. He felt dizzy and nauseous. He felt his hands were burning and when he looked at them there was black smoke again. He was startled. He quickly wrapped his hands with some fabric and tried to clam himself down. "Ivagi are you alright?", Lumen woke up from his sleep and saw Ivage looked pale. Ivagi replied he was just tired and they went back to sleep.

The next morning the carriage had reached Arkhem. This was the capital and was a flourished city. They both were in awe as they saw the many shops, vendors and crowd nearby. Both of them got off the carriage and went towards Zelda Academy.

"Ivagi you head on, I have some stuff to do here. My sister needs some medicine so I'll get that and catch up to you later.",Lumen spoke and Ivagi nodded back. Both of them parted ways and Ivagi came to the entrance of the academy.
