no longer exist!

"Father… I'm back." Ivy stepped into the dimly lit hallway, stopping only half way and pulling off her shoes.

The light, to the dining area was bright, helping to shine down the hallway.

The place was big, and if not careful, someone who just newly came here could get lost.

"Ivy…" He say at the table, his hands perfectly hold his utensils, as he slit of a piece of stake, before chawing it down.

His fork clattered on his plate, and so did his knife.

"Cone here." Ivy looked down, remaining still at her position.

She knew what was going to happen.

Each time he had that calm tone on, it was always a lie to fool her, but she wasn't going to play into that trap anymore.

"Ivy… come here." He gestured to the air opposite his, before wiping his mouth.

The smile that was once there fading after realizing she wasn't moving an inch.

He got up in a frenzy, pushing his chair back hard, and throwing the napkin down the table. Everything on it shook, the wine glass nearly tilting to fall, the candles that were perfectly lit, nearly going off, and a jolt getting out of Ivy.

He walked up to her.

"What did I tell you about, making a fuss at school?"

Ivy looked down, her hands clenching, and her teeth's biting onto her lips.

"I… I was only helping Courtney…"

"You we're only helping Courtney?" He nods, and turns to the servant that was there, giving him a look of; leave.

They waste no time, and zoomed out of the room, giving the both of them space.

"What happened now?" The sound of clanking heels were heard, and a beautiful blond lady walked in, one hand under the other, and her hair rolled up in a bun.

She leaned across the wall nearby, her hands still remaining the same posture, and her face carrying no sort of expression.

"I'd like for you to leave." He said coldly, the woman who still had no expression, put one on… which was surprise.

He had never told her to leave before, but, not like she cared, all she wanted was her bank to be always full.

The woman turned, and began walking away, her hand waving goodbye.

And Ivy found herself back in the same situation.

She looked up, about to bring up an excuse when it hit her.

Her father's hand cold to her face, a sharp sting that seemed to never want to leave, her eyes wide, and her hand slowly come to rest on her cheek, where he had hit.

"I hate it when you bring attention to this family."

Ivy was still shocked, her eyes never leaving the floor as she remained speechless.

He grabbed her cheeks with just two of his fingers, forcing her gaze upon him.

"Did I hit you too hard?" Tears pricked the side of her eyes, as he tilted her head to the left, and next to the right, getting a closer look of the red spot that had came, the moment he slapped her.

"Next time, I won't be so easy on you… make the same mistake twice and you'll regret it." He threw her cheek away, and walked off, using the napkin in his pocket to wipe his hand off.

Ivy fell to the ground, the weight on her chest vanishing the moment he left, and her hand balling.

I hate them… I hate them so much… if I had one wish… it'd be for them to…
