Irene was so In love with Oscar, she was so into him. Because she had gone through so much hurt loosing her dear loved ones, it was a strong motivation for Oscar to love her deeply and heal her heart completely, his desire was for her to genuinely be happy and make progress. He had been in a romantic relationship with Irene for up to six good months and he wanted to take a very bold step. He wanted it to be a really big surprise. He invited some of her family and friends, he told them about his plans and everything he wanted to put up.

He located a fashion designers boutique for female wears, he carefully selected a black, short, fitted and fully beaded gown for Irene. He also added Jewelries which included necklace, earrings, and a hand bracelet from the latest design of a very top brand. He sent it through a dispatch rider with a note saying " Hi, my beauty queen, this outfit was carefully handpicked by your man with so much admiration of you. Please use this for our dinner tomorrow. A driver will be available for you tomorrow at exactly 6pm. Love you endlessly, Irene." How sweet, she thought. She didn't know what he was up to but she was loving it already and she couldn't wait to get a full download of his plans, the next day seemed far.

Oscar booked a big space at a classy and fancy hotel. He contracted some interior designers from Irene's company and had them set it up.

The space was totally transformed into a romantic palace, filled with blinking and golden lights that couldn't help but keep glowing and shining.

A beautifully set table sat in the center, adorned with lovely white linens, and a stunning bouquet of red roses.

A personalized note placed on the table, written in elegant script: "Tonight, I want to make memories with you, I adore you, I cherish you. Please, will you be my wife?"

A bottle of chilled champagne in an ice bucket, was waiting to be opened by the love birds.

Pieces of pink Petals were littered graciously right from the entrance of the hotel, through the balcony and walkway which led to main space Oscar had booked. It was such a a sight to behold.

This romantic setup was designed to sweep someone off their feet, to create an unforgettable evening of love, laughter, and connection. It sure answered it's name because Irene was totally blown away when she got there.

She stopped at a makeover studio on her way back from work to pamper her face with makeup. She wasn't sure what it was but she surely wanted to look the best. The black outfit had a great balance on her shapy curves. Her chauffeur came just right in time and they headed to the hotel. Irene was so pleased by the pink Petals that were spread on for her, she felt special as it led her to a spot were she was meant to be, she was overwhelmed by family and friends surrounded, all of a sudden, Oscar came from behind and hugged her

then, Oscar came in and pulled out her chair, she sat comfortably and he did same. They sat on a round table for two, specially, others sat at other tables, not too close to Oscar and Irene's table.

She picked up the note right in front of her, opened it up and read the words, when she approached the proposal part, Oscar had already knelt down beside her and brought out a beautifully well furnished and crafted ring, Irene got up from her chair, tears filled her eyes, " yes and yes I will marry you a million times" she said and Oscar smiled sheepishly while inserting the ring to her finger. Everyone present were full of smiles and in agreement to their engagement, they clapped hard for them both and most of them came around the couples-to-be, to tender their congratulations.

Oscar had totally planned the perfect evening for them. Ten waiters made their way in, one after another, each of them carrying a different tray with a different meal. Irene was so touched and overwhelmed, she hadn't expected any of these, she was totally blown away. As they both sat together in comfortable silence, they sipped their champagne and ate very delicious food. Irene felt her heart flutter, she could not help but notice the way Oscars eyes sparkled and his handsome smiles seemed to melt her heart.

In that magical moment, Irene knew that she was head over hills and madly in love with Oscar. The world around them stood still, leaving just both of them, melting away and lost in love for each other.

" I honestly wasn't expecting any of these at all, how did you plan so much, yet I didn't get any hint at all? This was a fantastic moment and I'm glad I said yes to you, thank you so much for tonight, Oscar." Irene said. She was so into the moment that she reached out for Oscars hand and requested for a dance with him, in the background, a sweet soulful music was playing, he accepted and got up, Holding unto her hands too, interestingly, they did not really dance, instead, Irene placed her hands around his neck, and he did same around her waist, they both kept sending whispers of appreciation and love talks into each other's ears, while moving slowly to the tune of the song. Eventually they had to return to their homes, Irene's chauffeur waited all along to return her back and Oscar ordered a fresh ride for himself as his car was at the mechanic for repairs at the moment.

Irene came home, took a frame of her late husband, unconsciously, she had developed a habit of speaking with her husband through a photograph of him, she would always tell him anything about her day and literally everything she desired to share with somebody, there was no one so her husband was still felt like her friend and companion even in death. She had already told him about Oscar as Henry, right from the very beginning. Now she is engaged to Oscar and she informed her husband, she strongly believes that her husband would be happy to know she is in love again, he would want to see her happy and not be sad, he would want to be successful and be the best version of herself, he wouldn't want her not to hold onto him and not progress in life, maybe it was meant to be and God can't be questioned so she has to live her life well and make even David her late husband, proud of her wherever he was.
