Chapter 12: Pain

"Why are you following me, Ai? Your feet will get tired," Davis said as he continued pushing his motorcycle out of the campus area.

"I can just ask you for a massage later, problem solved…," Aisya replied with a playful smile.

"You…." Davis was about to respond when Aisya suddenly pointed at a repair shop across the street.

"I'll grab my car first. You go ahead to the shop; I'll pick you up later," she said before rushing to the parking lot.

Davis left his motorcycle at the repair shop for maintenance. Not long after, Aisya came to pick him up, and they returned to Davis' house, which happened to be next door to Aisya's in Pesona Modern.

Davis opened the fridge, took out a jug of orange juice, and poured a glass for Aisya, who looked thirsty.

"Why did you take off your shirt? Is the AC not cold enough?" Davis asked, noticing that Aisya was now only wearing her inner top and shorts.

"Yeah, it's so hot. Sorry…," Aisya replied, unaware of the thoughts crossing Davis' mind.

"Life's trials are indeed tough… This is how an innocent young man gets corrupted," Davis muttered, sniffing the air as if sensing danger.

"Ihhh…," Aisya quickly smacked Davis with a pillow, now covering her thighs. "Let's play a game again, Davis!"

"I'm not playing unless there's a bet," Davis replied casually. In truth, he was just feeling lazy.

"Sounds good! If you lose, you have to grant me one request. And vice versa. Deal?"

"Hmm… deal! Who's afraid?" Davis said, suddenly excited as he turned on the TV and PlayStation, handing Aisya a controller.

During the game, Davis received a call from Handoko, reminding him about his meeting with a potential Personal Assistant.

"Yes! I won!" Aisya cheered, jumping around in excitement before unconsciously hugging Davis tightly.

Davis could only accept his defeat. It was hard for him to focus because of the phone call earlier.

"Ahem…," Davis cleared his throat softly. To be honest, he felt comfortable, but he still needed to control himself. His heart pounded wildly, like being on a roller coaster ride—going up and down at extreme speeds, especially when something soft and supple pressed against his body.

Aisya realized what she had done when she heard Davis clear his throat. However, she pretended not to notice and hugged him even tighter. Then, tilting her head slightly, their faces were now just inches apart.

Gathering her courage, Aisya pressed her lips against Davis'. Their tongues briefly intertwined, saliva mingling, as if nothing separated them anymore.

Two minutes passed, the intensity escalating. Their hands started exploring each other, until…

Ting! Tong! Ting! Tong! Teng! Teng! Teng!

Aisya's phone kept ringing. She glanced at the caller's name on the screen but ignored it. Her body was already burning with heat, making her care about nothing else.

Davis, who was once innocent, now felt completely intoxicated by the woman before him. Without any obstacles, he was about to prove his prowess as a normal man.

Davis pressed her down.

"Ah… It hurts!!"

"Of course, it hurts, Dad! No need to ask!" Firman groaned, now lying on his bed after being picked up by his father.

"He'll probably recover in a few days. But for now, don't move too much. His ribs might shift again," Dr. Ridwan said after examining Firman.

After prescribing some medicine, he reminded them, "Take it twice a day, morning and evening. And remember, don't move around too much."

As the family doctor of the Sadewa family, Dr. Ridwan was very familiar with Firman.

"Alright, Dr. Ridwan," Firman replied, already drowsy from the medication.

Sadewa escorted Dr. Ridwan to the front door. After briefly discussing Firman's condition, they parted ways—one leaving in his car, the other returning inside.

Inside Firman's room, his friend Andre looked confused. "How did this happen to you, Fir? You're the national taekwondo champion!"

"I just wasn't careful enough, Dre. I underestimated my opponent," Firman replied, hiding the fact that he was utterly defeated.

"Do you know who that guy is? I'll find him and avenge you!"

Firman sighed. "He seems to be a new student. But one thing is certain… he's close to Aisya—the girl you've been chasing."

"Damn it… That means he's my enemy too!" Andre clenched his fists. "If he comes to campus tomorrow, just watch. I'll teach him a lesson!"

Just as he finished speaking, a deep voice called from behind.

"Andre… Come here for a moment. I have something to discuss."

It was Sadewa's voice. Andre immediately followed the man to the living room. They sat down, and a serious conversation began.

"So? Have you found out anything about the guy who beat up my son?" Sadewa asked, his voice filled with anger. "I will destroy his entire family!"

"Yes, Uncle. I'll break his legs tomorrow. Don't worry. Leave it to me."

Sadewa smiled in satisfaction. "Good. I like young men who act fast. I have to go back to the office now."

Before leaving, he added, "Just stay with Firman for now. Once his mother gets home from her social gathering, you can leave or stay, up to you."

"Yes, Uncle!" Andre replied before returning to Firman's room.

Meanwhile, two lovers, now exhausted…

Davis picked up his phone and saw the clock—it was already 1:00 PM.

"Hello, Mr. Han. I don't think I can make it. I'll leave all the decisions to you. I trust you," he said before ending the call. Then, he embraced Aisya again, who was sleeping with a satisfied smile.

"Seems like I should start showing off my wealth at campus too. So this morning's incident doesn't happen again. And I need to stay alert… There might be more enemies trying to bring me down," he thought.

Elsewhere, Handoko felt both excited and nervous. He worried that his decision might not match his Young Boss' expectations. After thinking for a while, he opened the applicants' files.

He selected someone—beautiful, intelligent, and skilled in many areas.

Davis woke up from his nap when the clock showed 4:50 PM. He blinked, looking around. Aisya was gone, only a dried bloodstain on the bed remained. He smiled to himself, recalling what had happened earlier.

"She finally corrupted my innocence," he muttered in his heart. But instead of feeling angry, he felt satisfied. Who could be mad after experiencing such pleasure?

Before taking a shower, Davis remembered something.

"System, I think I received two Gold Boxes before I fell asleep!"

(Would you like to open them, Master?)

"Of course!"

(One Gold Box is opening…)

(Congratulations! You have received a villa in South Jakarta—Urban Villa.)

(Congratulations! You have received a Honda Gold Wing motorcycle.)

(One Gold Box is opening…)

(Congratulations! You have acquired 51% ownership of Lambung Mangkurat Faculty.)

(Congratulations! You have received 1 million dollars.)

Davis paused for a moment, feeling slightly dizzy from hearing the congratulatory messages. The rewards were unbelievable. As someone who had once lived in hardship, this was truly shocking.

"Thank you, System," he said sincerely.
