Diagnosis: Love

FOUR DAYS LATER

Nadia laid flat on the hospital bed as the small sticky patches were placed on her chest, arms, and legs while the doctor watched the monitor.

"Nadia, I'm telling you for the umpteenth time, there's nothing wrong with your heart," the aged but still handsome doctor complained.

"Are you sure you checked everything…?"

"Can you tell me why you're acting so paranoid on a perfectly fine Monday morning?" he asked, peeling off the patch from her leg.

She didn't respond. Instead, she laid back and mumbled to herself, "Something has to be wrong."

"Else, why does my heart race annoyingly faster sometimes?" She complained.

"Your heart can race when you're nervous, scared... It happens," he explained, rubbing his temple.
