After fighting in the C-rank dungeon, the Hunter Association had tightened security and was keeping a close watch on every hunter. Zero thought, "I need to take a break for now—it's time for a vacation."
Zero was considering a visit to the Hall of Hunters Museum. The museum housed special weapons forged from the remains of powerful beasts, relics of battles fought many years ago.
Zero takes a bus to the Hall of Hunters Museum. Nearby, a young lady sits with her friend—she is beautiful. Suddenly, the bus screeches to a halt. A heavy silence falls over the passengers; nobody moves. A group of robbers storms onto the bus.
"Hahaha... looks like we've found ourselves a jackpot," one of the robbers sneers.
An older man, a retired soldier, steps forward, trying to resist. "You punks think you can do whatever you want?"
Before he can act, one of the robbers pulls out a gun, aiming it directly at him. "Sit down, old man," he growls. "All of you—phones and money, now!"
Zero could have easily beaten them, but he chose to remain still and handed over his money to avoid unnecessary attention. However, the young lady beside him refused to comply. She slapped one of the robbers across the face and declared, "I will not give you any money! I'm calling the police!"
The robbers grew furious. One of them grabbed her by the hair and snarled, "I'll rip your clothes off in front of everyone here!" He reached out toward her menacingly.
In an instant, Zero sprang into action. He delivered a powerful punch to the robber's face, sending him staggering backward. Without hesitation, he rushed toward the gunman, disarming him before unleashing a flurry of strikes. One by one, the robbers fell, unable to react to his overwhelming speed and strength.
Moments later, the bus was silent. The robbers lay unconscious on the floor. Zero calmly took out his phone and called the police. Within minutes, officers arrived and arrested the criminals.
The young woman turned to Zero, gratitude shining in her eyes. "Thank you for saving us."
The other passengers echoed her sentiments, showering him with praise, but Zero simply returned to his seat. Without a word, he closed his eyes and drifted into sleep.
The girl found herself thinking that he was both strong and handsome at the same time. But he was also distant... almost cold. "Hmm..." she mused to herself.
