Zero activated his God Eyesight skill, scanning the remaining A-rank robbers. Their stats appeared before him:

His eyes narrowed. "Their attributes are higher than mine... and my stamina is running low. I need to act fast."

He clenched his fists, activating Shadow Claw and Shadow Hide. Moving like a phantom, he struck, slashing through the neck of one A-rank robber before vanishing again into the darkness. Blood sprayed across the floor.

One of the remaining robbers roared in rage. "You bastard!" He unleashed Wind Blow, sending a powerful gust at Zero. The impact hurled him backward, slamming him against the wall. Pain shot through his body, and blood dripped from his mouth.

Just then, a system notification echoed in his mind:

Effect: Absorb enemy stamina during combat and recover your own.

Zero's eyes widened. A newfound power surged within him. Without hesitation, he activated Devour. A dark, eerie aura spread across the building, swirling around him. The robbers' movements slowed as their stamina drained away, flowing into Zero like a black tide. His exhaustion faded, and his strength returned.

"What... What is this?!" one of the robbers gasped, his legs trembling as his energy was sapped away.

He rushed forward, disappearing into the shadows. The robbers panicked, unleashing wind-element attacks in all directions, but they hit nothing but air. Zero emerged from behind one, his Shadow Claw slicing clean through the man's chest. Another fell. Then another.

Within seconds, only one robber remained.

The last A-rank hunter was frozen in terror, his body shaking. His comrades lay dead around him. Blood dripped from Zero's body, his face shadowed in the dim light.

"H-how did you... become this strong... in the middle of battle?" the robber stammered, his voice filled with fear.

Zero, his eyes cold and merciless, took a step closer. He locked eyes with the man and uttered in a chilling tone:

Before the robber could react, Zero vanished once more. A second later, he reappeared behind him, his claw tearing through flesh. The man's body hit the ground with a dull thud. Silence filled the air.

A smirk tugged at Zero's lips as he clenched his fists. He felt invincible, like he could take on ten A-rank hunters at once.
