It's a new job. I am lucky enough to have landed this job. I could barely graduate with all that went on with my life. After all the odd jobs I did, now I finally can move forward with a decent job.

Saying it's a decent job would be undermining it. It's a good job at a good firm. I ,who barely has any knowledge of law, managed to get in at the famous Blackwell as an assistant.

Blackwell &Associates is a leading law firm dealing with Company law. I read that the top companies have been clients of this firm. The founder, Graham Blackwell, had the cream of the crop clientele from the start. Competitive lawyers with their ambition and greed in some cases, join the firm to fuel their standing. Employees and assistants like myself are paid a good salary too. Associates of this firm are treated VVIP within and outside of the Firm. But if Associates are the ministers,then the king would be the Head Partner. And like a king, the head Partner position has always been handed over to the Blackwell Lineage. Not because they are the heirs, but because they are more competent than others.

Graham Blackwell handed over to his Son,Anthony Blackwell,but had to take back the reins when Anthony passed away 8years ago . I read somewhere that the Grandson took over as soon as he completed his studies and has achieved a lot in a short time.

By a lot ,I meqn , a lot. And I cannot specify because I did not read the entire article. I saw a photo of the current Head-a handsome hunk, well built, good height and handsome. He had a certain charm to him despite the serious look on his face. The face looks somewhat familiar. But I would remember such a man if I had met him before .

Anyways, The job description said I had to assist the associates,partners and the Head . Although it wasn't explicitly stated, they hinted that I was to act as a personal assistant to the Managing partner as well .

That is fine. I have done so many jobs in the past six years from being in a cleaning company to serving in a fast food joint. I started applying to various forms for the past 1.5 years and finally got selected here.

Now I will give my best and make sure I stay here for a long long time.
