Chapter 16 - The End of Ansh

Ansh Gujral's aggressive attitude infuriated Veer Raheja.

"To hell with you!" Seeing Ansh's attitude, Veer immediately summoned his golden armor, which instantly enveloped him from head to toe. The very next moment, he delivered a powerful kick to Ansh, sending him staggering backward.

"As you wish!" Ansh, his face red with fury, attacked Veer's leg with his razor-sharp palm.

A loud clang echoed as Veer's leg wobbled, making him step back. However, even as he staggered, he retaliated with another forceful kick. The sheer force of the blow shook Ansh Gujral to his core.

As for Veer's golden armor, apart from a faint white mark, it remained unscathed.

Ansh's eyes gleamed with greed as he stared at the armor. He shouted, "Even after such a fierce attack, your armor didn't break! This must be made from the sacred blood devil's soul! A lowlife like you possessing such a powerful devil's soul is like a crow holding a pearl necklace. Hand over that armor to me, and I will spare your life."

Hearing Ansh's words, Veer's anger flared even more. He spun around and delivered another brutal kick. But this time, instead of staggering, Ansh twisted Veer's leg and slammed him to the ground.

Before Veer could counterattack, Ansh drove his knee into Veer's back, sending him crashing down again.

"Aaaahhh!" Veer screamed in pain, feeling as if his spine was shattering.

"A lowlife will always remain a lowlife, no matter how powerful his devil's soul is. Hand it over quietly. You don't deserve it. Anyway, after your death, it will be mine!" Ansh kept slamming Veer's head against the rock, determined to seize the sacred blood devil's soul.

Despite the pain, Veer's blood boiled with rage. "You bastard!"

Before Ansh could slam his head down again, Veer suddenly headbutted him with full force.

Ansh never saw it coming. The impact broke his nose, making him stagger backward.

But the surprises for Ansh were far from over. As soon as Veer freed himself from his grasp, he summoned the most dangerous sacred blood alien's devil's soul. Ansh's eyes widened in shock as he watched Veer transform into a monstrous alien form. Before he could react, Veer had completely changed.

"Wha—what kind of devil's soul is this? Your head… like a bull… lower body of a horse… middle part human… How?" Ansh was utterly confused and, somewhere deep inside, terrified.

But he refused to give up so easily. As soon as Veer charged toward him, Ansh became alert and started launching attacks in the air.

This time, however, every attack failed. Veer was now stronger than ever.

Ignoring Ansh's strikes, Veer grabbed his throat and slammed him onto the ground. Ansh struggled fiercely, kicking and writhing, but Veer's grip was too strong. Even his desperate kicks were futile as Veer continuously slammed his bull-like head into Ansh's body.

"Now, who's the lowlife? Huh? Say it! Say it! Who's the lowlife now? Speak up!" Veer's voice echoed through the desolate jungle.

Ansh, already gravely wounded, couldn't withstand the continuous attacks. His arrogance and remaining energy drained away. By the time Veer's rage subsided, Ansh had succumbed to his injuries.

As his lifeless body lay still, Veer looked at his face. The pride that once reflected in his eyes had vanished. Now, it was nothing more than a lifeless piece of flesh.

Even Veer himself couldn't believe what he had done. But then again, with the sacred blood golden armor and the sacred blood alien's devil's soul, even a hyper-gene arts expert wouldn't have survived such merciless attacks.

Once Veer was sure Ansh Gujral was dead, he tossed his lifeless body aside like a discarded pile of dirt. Exhaling deeply, he deactivated both devil's souls.

Pain coursed through his body. He ached so intensely that he feared his bones might have broken.

Looking at his wounds, a terrifying thought crossed Veer's mind—if he hadn't finished Ansh in time, what would have happened? Even with his golden armor and transformation ability, he was severely injured. Without them, he didn't even want to imagine his fate.

Ansh Gujral's hyper-gene arts were truly formidable. If he had possessed the same devil's soul as Veer, it would have been impossible to defeat him. But as they say, all's well that ends well. Perhaps Veer was just lucky to have survived Ansh's deadly assault.

Taking a deep breath, Veer hesitated before searching Ansh's corpse. After a brief search, he found only a wallet with a memory chip inside. This confused him—what was a memory chip doing on Titan?

He recalled Dr. Khurana telling him that Titan was still in its early stages of development, meaning everything here was primitive. Then why was there a memory chip here? And wait… Ansh had mentioned he was from a place called 'Glory Ashram.' But Veer had never heard of such a base. Moreover, Ansh didn't seem like he wasn't from Earth.

"What the hell is going on? None of this makes sense. Maybe when I return to Earth, Dr. Khurana can explain this to me. Until then, I'll keep this memory chip safe." Thinking this, Veer carefully placed the memory chip in his bag and kicked Ansh Gujral's corpse into a nearby pond along with his wallet.

Within seconds, a swarm of iron-toothed crocodiles surfaced and pounced on Ansh's body. In the desolate jungle, these creatures rarely found a proper meal. Today, they had a feast. Within minutes, Ansh's remains, including his bones, had vanished.

Seeing this, Veer let out a relieved sigh.

Finally, Ansh was completely erased—not just dead, but without a trace left behind.
