TWENTY-SIX

Anya's Point of View

"Lilac, please. Come with me," I begged Lilac. I wanted to go to Pack Daycare, but I have no one to accompany me. Allan suddenly has to do his pack works along with Brent.

"Miss Anya, I still have work to do," she said to me. I sighed; Lilac really is a workaholic.

"Please, Lilac? Just this one," I said to her and batted my eyelashes. "I don't want to be here all day. My baby needs to go out in the sunlight too. Please?" I told her and pouted my lips. She let out a sigh and smiled at me.

"All right, Miss," she said.

"Yehey! Come on!" I said as I pulled her out of the packhouse. We went straight to Pack Daycare, where orphans, and other children, study and play.

"Hi, Linda!" I warmly greeted the assigned daycare teacher. She smiled at me and hugged me.

"You finally went!" she said to me. I smiled at her and offered a peace sign.

"This was the only time I got Allan's permission," I told her and chuckled. She nodded her head and opened the door.
