MATTEO’s POV
I slammed my fist on the steering wheel, fury coursing through my veins. Aria thought she could outsmart me? Ha! I'll show her who's boss. My mind seethed with thoughts of her, my obsession burning hotter than ever. The mere idea of her with anyone else, especially that pathetic Rosaline, was unbearable.
I growled to myself, scanning the streets as I drove, determined to find her. She was hiding somewhere, and I would uncover her. Oh, how I would make her pay for her stubbornness.
My phone rang, and I answered, my voice low and menacing. "Yes?"
"It's Gia," my sister's voice came through the line, laced with a warning. "I know what you're doing, Matteo. And I'm telling you to stop."
I sneered, my anger boiling over. "You think you can stop me, Gia? Do you think you can stand in my way?"
"I'll do whatever it takes to protect Aria," Gia spat. "And so will Charles. We won't let you hurt her again."
