The New Product

Rina leaned back in her chair, arms crossed as she processed the intel.

Victoria Quinn ,Viper locked up, but still pulling strings.

Sybil ghost operative, dangerous, loyal.

And now, a new serum flooding the streets.

She turned to Briggs, eyes sharp.

"So… this product. What are we dealing with? Combat enhancement? Nerve boosters? What's their angle?"

Briggs slid another slate forward, but even he looked unsettled.

"Early reports call it 'Pulse Red.' But this isn't your usual stim pack or speed boost. This stuff rewires you. It taps into bio-systems strength, reflexes, pain nullification. But… it's unstable. People are burning out."

Rina's jaw tightened.

"Burning out how?"

"Brain hemorrhages. Heart failure. Some… just lose it start attacking anything that moves. Like their body's too strong for their mind to handle."

Briggs paused, voice lowering.

"But those who survive? They're faster. Stronger. Almost… post-human."

Rina muttered under her breath.

"Augments without the surgery."

Briggs nodded.

"Exactly. That's why it's hot. No black-market chop-shop. No body mods. Just a shot… and you're built different."

Rina felt it this was more than smuggling.

This was a weapon.

A ticking bomb disguised as a miracle drug.

And Viper's old network Sybil was pushing it into her city.

Rina's city.

Her fingers curled into a fist.

This wasn't just duty.

This was personal now.
