I stood in the living room, heart pounding in my chest, as I shouted, "Belinda, come here now!" My voice echoed off the walls, filled with a mix of anger and hurt. I could hardly stand the thought of what I was about to learn, yet I needed the truth. Moments later, the door creaked open and there she was, Belinda, standing in the doorway, her hands trembling slightly and her eyes darting around nervously.
"Selena," she began, her voice barely above a whisper, "I…I'm here."
I took a deep breath, trying to steady the anger that bubbled inside me. "Belinda," I said, my voice sharp, "I know what Marion told me. I know you have been sending those threats. Is it true?"
Her eyes widened, and she hesitated before answering. "Yes, it's true," she admitted, her voice cracking with emotion. "I did send those messages."
