Sabotage

The threats were finally behind us, and for the first time in weeks I felt a flicker of real power. I sat in the quiet study of our home, the soft hum of the air conditioner the only sound as I stared at the scattered notes and printouts on the table. Marion had just left the room after our late dinner, and I knew it was time to act on the plan I had been carefully piecing together for so long.

I took a deep breath and walked into the living room where Marion was reviewing some documents. "Marion," I said firmly, "I want to begin my revenge on Gonzalo."

He looked up, his eyes steady and thoughtful. "Revenge?" he asked, arching an eyebrow. "Tell me what you have in mind."

I sat down beside him, my hands trembling with both anger and determination. "I've been collecting small pieces of information for a while now, gathering every scrap I could find," I explained in a quiet but clear voice. "And I finally know how to begin his destruction."
