Rumors & Attack

Rumors spread quickly—someone had attempted to assassinate EddieDike and his wife, Lily, and now they were nowhere to be

found. The police caught wind of the news and launched an investigation.

"Where is Mr. EddieDike and his wife?" officers questioned their families and staff. But no one had any answers. No one knew if

they were alive or dead.

The people of Chuchu Town were restless,

searching for clues and demanding answers.

Meanwhile, Mr. Watson was at home playing with his little son, Johnny when he heard a firm knock at the door.

Bang! Bang!

"It's the police. We have some questions for

you," a voice announced.

Watson's heart skipped a beat. He quickly

opened the door.

"Good evening, officers. I hope there's no

problem?" he asked.

The officer responded, "It's about Mr. EddieDike and his wife, Lily. Have you seen them recently? When was the last time you spoke to them?"

Watson hesitated but maintained his calm. "I

haven't seen or spoken to them in a while."

"One of their employees reported that you

visited their home late at night to pick up some documents. Is that true?"

Watson nodded. "Yes, I did. It was an urgent

document for the company. Since I couldn't reach Mr. EddieDike, I had to go get it from his office."

The officer narrowed his eyes. "Did you hear

about the rumors that someone tried to assassinate them?"

Watson feigned surprise. "No, I didn't. And

this is the first time I'm hearing about it! What are you doing about it?"

"We're investigating," the officer replied. "If

you have any useful information, let us know immediately."

"Of course, officer. Thank you."

As the police drove off, Watson let out a deep

sigh. His heart pounded in his chest. He remembered the promise he made to

EddieDike—not to tell anyone about their whereabouts until they were safe.

Mr. Skinner's Wrath

While the people of Chuchu Town speculated

about the Dike family's disappearance, l whispers of another powerful figure

filled the streets—Mr. Skinner.

Raised by a ruthless father, Big Skinner, he

had inherited not only his wealth but also his cruelty. He was a feared man, known for eliminating anyone who stood in his way. Some said he skinned his enemies alive. Others whispered that he fed them to his dogs.

Now, he wanted total control over Chuchu Town's Importation business. But there was one problem—EddieDike.

EddieDike had openly spoken against Skinner's illegal activities, vowing to protect the town from his influence. That alone had put a target on his back.

Furious, Skinner slammed his fist on his desk

and called for his most trusted enforcer—Jack.

"I need you to take the Dike family out,"

Skinner growled. "Make them disappear from the face of the earth! No one crosses me and lives to tell the tale."

Jack, feared by many and known as the Boogeyman of Skinner, nodded. "Consider it done, boss."

He called his men together. "Listen up! The

boss has a job for us. But this time, I'll handle it alone. Stay on standby. No one needs to know."

"Yes, sir!" they all responded.

Jack entered a secret room filled with weapons, grabbed his gear, and got into his car. He drove in pursuit of EddieDike and

Lily.

Just as he caught up with them, he rammed his car into theirs from behind.

Bang!

Immediately, he opened fire—but he missed.

EddieDike, an experienced driver, swerved and sped away.

Jack clenched his fists, furious. He had

failed. His phone rang—it was Skinner.

"Is the job done?" Skinner asked coldly.

Jack swallowed hard. "No, sir. They got away."

Skinner's voice darkened. "Fix this mess. Now. And make sure it doesn't trace back to us."

"Yes, boss," Jack replied. He quickly cleaned

the crime scene and vanished.

Little did he know—EddieDike

would return.
