Lily smiled at her son. "Thorndike, it's time for us to reunite with your dad. Pack your things—we're going to Chuchu Town."
Thorndike's face lit up. "I've missed Dad so much! But I'll also miss my friends here."
"Don't worry, sweetheart," Lily reassured him. "We'll always visit."
Soon, Mr. EddieDike called. Thorndike excitedly grabbed the phone. "Hello, Daddy! How are you? Mummy said we'll be joining you in Chuchu Town."
"That's right, son. Captain Water will pick you up," EddieDike responded.
Lily packed their belongings and, after saying goodbye to their friends, they headed to the airport. It was Thorndike's first time flying with his mother, and he was thrilled.
"Thorndike, this plane belongs to your father," Lily said, introducing him to the pilot. "This is Captain Water."
The captain smiled. "It's nice to finally meet you, young Master Thorndike. Now, fasten your seatbelt—we're ready for takeoff."
During the flight, Thorndike gazed out the window. "Mummy, the clouds are so beautiful. I love the sky!"
Lily smiled, watching her son's excitement.
Upon landing at Chuchu Airport, Mr. EddieDike was already waiting for them. He welcomed his family back in secret, only informing his trusted friend Mr. Watson and their loyal workers.
For their safety, they all agreed to keep
Thorndike hidden from the public. No one could know of his existence yet.
Meanwhile, Mr. Skinner received disturbing news—EddieDike had launched an investigation into the assassination attempt.
Furious, he called Jack.
"You need to leave town for a while," he
ordered. "I trust you, but I can't risk you getting caught by the police."
"Yes, sir," Jack responded, quietly
disappearing from Chuchu Town.
With his growing influence, EddieDike fought against Mr. Skinner's oppression, winning the love and respect of the people.
