Chapter 19

He hadn't known that Vice Admirals possessed some kind of power that allowed them to negate a Logia-type Devil Fruit's natural immunity. That's how Momonga's sword had cut him. If his reflexes hadn't been razor-sharp, that slash could have crippled him, at best.

But the instant pain registered in his brain, processing things 100 times faster than a normal human's, reacted. He had moved back just in time. That was the only reason he was still standing. The experience had been humbling.

He wasn't invincible.

And the worst part? That wasn't the only wound he suffered. At the start of the battle, he had taken hit after hit—his body had not yet adjusted to their fighting styles.

But by the end? Thanks to his 100x cheat, his adaptability had skyrocketed. He was reading their movements, predicting patterns, and avoiding some of their attacks. But even with all of that, Kong knew that even fighting one of them, would have been one hell of a battle he might lose.

But these battles never stopped. More battles came, each one pushing him further, forcing him to adapt, evolve, and overcome. And as he fought, he grew.

Kong mastered the art of creating extra limbs, refining his control until he could command them effortlessly. What once felt awkward and clumsy became fluid and natural, every movement precise, powerful, and deadly.

He also perfected his density manipulation, seamlessly shifting between extremes in the heat of battle. One moment, he was harder than diamond, an unstoppable tank, shrugging off attacks that would cripple most fighters.

The next, He was lighter than a feather, moving with blinding speed, weaving through attacks with an agility that defied logic.

Kong could switch roles instantly, A wall of defense one second, A lightning-fast blur the next, And then, without warning, A heavy-handed attacker, striking with enough force to shatter the very ground beneath him.

At first, he struggled against the Vice Admirals, barely escaping their pursuit. But by his 18th day at sea… Kong was able to stand his ground against a dozen vice Admals, buying his crew time to escape before he followed after them without too many injuries.

At Marine HQ, Garp sat casually, one finger dug up his nose, as Sengoku's furious yelling echoed through the room.

"Damn it, Garp!" Sengoku roared, his face turning red with pure frustration. "Why didn't you tell me there were twins?! First, Kong, and now Luffy?!" His voice cracked, his blood pressure spiking, and for a moment, he genuinely feared he might have a heart attack.

It had barely been 18 days since they set sail. And in that short time, Kong alone shook the grand line. He had hit multiple Marine bases, pillaging their treasuries as if they were his personal bank.

He had stolen Marine ships, not one, not two, but over a dozen. And worst of all, He had amassed a crew of thousands Made up entirely of ex-prisoners. The name Monkey D. Kong was already spreading like wildfire.

And now, His twin was out there too.

To make matters worse, every pirate crew that crossed paths with Kong ended up joining him, further swelling the ranks of his already massive fleet. His numbers kept growing, his influence kept spreading, and his reputation was reaching terrifying heights.

If this wasn't the rise of a future powerhouse, Sengoku didn't know what was. The Marines had thrown everything at him, deploying their strongest forces, sending elite squads of Vice Admirals, and mobilizing powerhouses specifically to bring Kong in.

Yet, He kept slipping through their grasp.

And then, There was Luffy. Luffy wasn't as chaotic as Kong, not even close. But that was only because he was taking his time. While Kong dominated the seas and waged war on Marine bases, Luffy was simply enjoying the adventure.

Even so, He had already attacked and defeated a Marine branch captain in the East Blue. On top of that, He had already taken down two notable pirates, one with a bounty of 15 million and another with 20 million.

"I will go bring him in." A deep, commanding voice echoed through Sengoku's office as a man stepped forward. The room grew tense.

Even Garp's laughter, which had been booming moments ago, came to an abrupt halt. Because the man who had spoken was none other than one of the Three Admirals, Akainu.

His very presence radiated authority, his eyes burning with the same unyielding intensity as the magma he wielded.

If Kong were to face this man, Garp was certain his grandson wouldn't stand a chance. And if Luffy got caught in the crossfire? He might not survive at all. Sengoku studied Garp for a moment before nodding.

"Bring him in alive." His voice was firm. "He's worth more alive than dead."

Garp said nothing. He simply sat back, his expression complex, his thoughts troubled…

"Kong?" An orange-haired girl looked at a wanted poster in confusion. The man on it was grinning while facing the camera. The odd thing was—he looked a little too much like Luffy.

"What? How do you know my brother?" Luffy perked up at her words, clearly confused. The crew member in question was Nami. By this point, Luffy already had five crew members: a swordsman named Zoro, a cook named Sanji, a sniper named Usopp, and Nami, the navigator.

"You have a brother?" Everyone immediately rushed over to see the wanted poster, and when they saw the bounty amount, their eyes widened in shock.

"300 million?!" Sanji stared at the bounty poster in shock.

Hearing this, Luffy burst into laughter, proud of his twin brother. But before anyone could say anything else, another bounty poster slipped out from the newspaper Nami was reading.

She picked it up—only for the entire crew to freeze. It was Luffy's wanted poster. Instantly, their attention shifted, drawing a mix of reactions. Nami and Usopp paled in horror, while Luffy cheered, overjoyed to finally have a bounty. Zoro and Sanji, however, barely reacted, unfazed by the news.

"Only 30 million?!" Luffy's excitement vanished in an instant, his face falling as he stared at the number.

"Kong is going to brag about this…" he muttered, suddenly feeling dejected at how low his bounty was compared to his brother's.
