A Monster - Part 2

I fought for so long, killed many of the weaker humans, and injured the strange individuals but it wasn't enough. It was never enough I was still a newborn, still not used to acting as an individual and they took advantage of that. They saw me flailing around, trying to imitate what the old body did which only hurt me in the long run.

Eventually, they were able to wear me down, knock me out and they did something to my body whilst I was unconscious. I figured that out when I woke up trapped in a small metallic box with no room to move, my arms and legs chained and the darkness, the darkness was what I was familiar with. I was always barely able to use the former body's eyes to see the outside world and what lay beyond the mass of noise that surrounded me.

Yet that was all that surrounded me, all that I would ever be greeted with never knowing the sun and sky. Never knowing what existence lay beyond what I was. What I let myself be for even a brief moment, and this is where it landed me. Stuck in a singular place, unable to move or even interact with the world as the humans took me to I don't know where.

I felt us shake a few times but it was no indication of where I was or where I was going. I heard a few humans talking in that same language those other strange indviduals talked in and while I was beginning to get a better understanding, I no longer had the collective to fall back on to properly learn it I mean I was but at a much slower rate.

I had begun to learn the basic letters but not in what order to put them in, what came out of my mouth was essentially growling gibberish. Then the gas, well after the first time anyway but well even if they didn't want to they kept feeding me, giving me more biomass to help facilitate my evolution. Anyway, the gas knocked me out the first time but well all that did was give me time to adapt to it.

The next time it came and they saw that it didn't work, well they tried to use blunt force, opening up a little hatch at the top to do it. I saw a little light alongside a cubed instrument and slammed down on me. The problem was this time my body was properly ready for it, no longer a newborn and now I could properly take a hit. All that blunt object did was annoy me and cause me to scream in rage, letting the humans hear the voice of my anger, my hatred, and my still seething pain.

My voice rang out in this secluded environment, shocking the humans on board and whatever thing my containment was inside of shook but soon enough it stopped. That was when my container was closed once more and I could hear whoever was guarding my body shuffled away.

Once I stopped letting my accursed cry echo throughout this structure I was greeted with silence once more, besides the occasional rumbling of objects and human mumbling. It was irritating, the quietness, the lack of anything even smells somehow and I would forever hate this place, these humans regardless of what becomes of me in the future.

My body still evolved, eventually shattering the chains as my body expanded a bit becoming more muscular but still retaining a bit of my previously skinny physique. Once those chains were out of the way I began to slam on the container. Creating massive dents in it but whatever material it was made out of was far tougher than I expected and I just kept on putting dents in it.

Eventually, I was able to form a small hole, not enough to wedge my fingers through but enough to see through. Outside I saw nothing but more grey and some odd L-shaped structures on the side. Then one of the guards looked, all the while shaking as I continued to bang on the wall. Seeing his eye I let him see my smile, full of teeth sharp enough to slice through flesh easily.

It freaked them out enough to begin scrambling around, and then I felt the structure shack again. Then it all stopped, and I don't mean the shacking I meant the entire structure stopped all at once just as I made another hole in it, above the other one.

I then placed both hands in the holes and began to create a larger hole making a path to one another. Once I tore a large enough hole in the container I charged forward as they blasted me with their pesky weapons, just an overall annoyance. They wore strange black armored clothing alongside a green visor, or what I was guessing was green.

I tore into the first one, ripping it in half easily as the other began to panic as something opened up behind me revealing sunlight. I quickly decapitated the other one eating the head to gain a bit more biomass for future possible evolutions but turning around I was greeted with what looked like a literal army of them. They had far bigger weapons pointed at me and I grinned seeing it all.

I grabbed my former container out of the ground tossing it at the humans, taking a few down whether or not they died I didn't care as I lept out right at them. I began to tear my way through the army as they tried to take me down and fired their larger weapons point blank. It hurt a little but after some rest, I would adapt to it, hopefully develop tougher more durable skin.

I think I killed about half of them and destroyed some of their machines before I was knocked out by...something with an odd symbol on their chest.

I was greeted with the darkness once more before I found myself in a small confined space with an odd rectangular object that had a white one alongside a smaller one atop it. In front of me was a metallic door with a pulsing yellowish energy blocking me from exiting and I slammed my fist against it as I saw another across from me.

I screamed in rage, slamming my first on the energy shield over and over wanting out like the rest fo the beings contained here. All the while a familiar tune entered my head, the only thing that would greet me in this place and be my only friend.

Kill! Destroy! Survive! Evolve!
