We Meet Again, Uninvited Guest?

School hours went on as usual. However, this time, Zufar had a new friend, Anis Qaryisma. They chatted while sharing attack techniques, homework, and the latest news. Zufar asked Anis if she had watched Din's match last night. Anis hadn't seen it because she didn't like staying up late. She was very meticulous about maintaining her beauty, believing that staying up late would ruin her glowing complexion.

"What's the point of taking such good care of your face? You're still single as far as I can see," Zufar teased Anis.

With her face turning red, Anis immediately threw a series of punches at Zufar. Zufar only blocked them while laughing out loud.

"I'm saving it for the right person," Anis replied, pouting slightly.

They continued talking until recess ended. Zufar mentioned to Anis that he would begin his martial arts training soon. Anis simply smiled in response, as if she already knew something about it.

School had ended. Anis packed her bag, getting ready to go home. Just then, her phone rang—an incoming call.

"Anissss!!! Are you done yet?!!! We're waiting at the gate!!!" The voice on the phone was so loud that it felt like her eardrum might burst.

"Hold on!! I'm coming down now!!" she replied.

Anis met her friends outside the school. Two girls wearing Gardine High School uniforms were waving at her. One had long black hair, while the other had a short wolf-cut hairstyle.

"I had extra classes today. So, where are we going, Mia?" Anis asked. Mia, the girl with the wolf-cut hair.

"Shima and I found a new dessert café in town earlier. So we wanted to bring you along," Mia said.

Shima nodded in agreement.

The three of them chatted as they walked toward the café.

On their way, they came across two students in a small playground, seemingly preparing for a fight.

One of the students was wearing the Evious School uniform, the same as Anis.

Curious, they stopped to watch the scene unfold.

"I don't care if you want to be a gangster, but why are you beating up innocent people?!!" shouted the boy wearing the Gardine High School uniform.

Mia and Shima recognized the boy.

"His name is Adam," Mia whispered.

He was known as the smartest student in Gardine High, but they never expected him to be brave enough to confront a delinquent.

"Why do you care? His older brother ran away from me, so I beat up his younger brother to send a message—to show who's in charge here," the other boy replied coldly.

Adam took a deep breath, then calmly removed his glasses and placed them in his school bag.

"I want you to stop this nonsense!! His younger brother is my friend. If you really want to prove your strength, find someone who can actually fight back—instead of acting like trash," Adam shot back.

The delinquent was clearly offended by Adam's words. He challenged Adam to defend his friend's honor. At first, Adam refused. But he was forced to accept when the bully threatened to beat up his friend again if he didn't agree to the fight.

They locked eyes, both waiting for the other to make the first move. Adam wrapped his hands with his school tie, preventing any cuts on his knuckles. Without hesitation, Adam launched the first attack.

He rushed forward, aiming a straight punch at his opponent. The other boy raised his arms to block, but the punch was just a decoy. At the last second, Adam spun around and delivered a powerful kick straight to his opponent's stomach.

The impact sent the boy flying backward, causing him to crash onto the ground. Adam hopped in place, stretching his muscles to avoid any injury while preparing for his next move. The boy stood up, brushing off his uniform, now marked with the print of Adam's shoe.

Now, it was his turn to attack. He charged at Adam, throwing a flurry of punches. Adam dodged skillfully, waiting for the right moment to counterattack.

Then, the boy unleashed a powerful roundhouse kick as his finishing move. Adam stopped the kick mid-air, then slammed into him with his shoulder, forcing him back. Struggling to stay on his feet, the boy grabbed Adam's head tightly and tried to strike him with his knee.

Adam managed to block the attack, but the force was immense. The strike landed on his face, making him stumble slightly. His opponent stepped back, keeping a safe distance.

Adam touched his nose—nothing was broken, but a trickle of blood ran down. Without hesitation, Adam rushed forward, delivering a rapid left and right punch combo.

"Left!! Right!! Goodnight!!" Adam shouted, announcing his technique.

It was a three-hit combo—a left punch, a right punch, and finally, an uppercut to the chin.

The boy was sent flying into the air.

"Kick Bomba!!"

Before his opponent could even fall, Adam launched a powerful straight kick directly into his chest. The impact sent him flying even farther than before.

Anis and her friends watched in awe, amazed by Adam's technique. They even chuckled, finding it funny how Adam called out his attacks, just like a character from an anime.

Despite the powerful blows, the boy still managed to stand up. Adam prepared to attack again, but suddenly, he heard the sound of police sirens. He had no choice but to stop.Adam grabbed his bag and ran away from the scene.

Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed three girls watching the fight. Without wasting time, he sprinted off before the police arrived. Anis saw that the other fighter had also disappeared. Without hesitation, they quickly left the area and headed straight to the café.

At the Café,

Anis, Mia, and Shima found a seat near the window. The café had a cute and charming theme, featuring a white cat mascot with a red ribbon as its signature design. They ordered a variety of desserts and cakes, recommended by the waiter. The food was absolutely delicious, exceeding their expectations.

As they enjoyed their sweet treats, Anis suddenly asked her friends about Adam—as if she had developed an interest in knowing more about him.

"He's new here. Before this, he studied at Evious. He got in through the principal's recommendation. That guy scored a perfect mark during the entrance exam," Shima explained.

"But… he doesn't look like someone who knows how to fight," she added. It was her first time seeing Adam in action. Most of the time, he was either in class or spending his time in the library.

"Maybe he's your destined one, Anis… You're smart, and you know martial arts too…" Mia teased.

Anis's face turned bright red. But deep inside, she felt something when she saw Adam fight. She patted her cheeks, trying to snap out of it. The girls laughed together, finishing the rest of their desserts.

Meanwhile, at Adam's house, he lay on his bed, instructing his servant to prepare his bath. His mind replayed the events from earlier. Deep inside, he felt a sense of pride—his training had paid off, and he was able to execute his techniques flawlessly. That was the first time he had fought a real opponent. Before this, all his experience came from VR (Virtual Reality) combat simulations.

Adam's confidence grew stronger.

He was now more determined to stand up against bullies and protect his friends.

At the same time, he felt ready to compete at the training center.

Adam was now fully focused on chasing his dreams at a higher level.

The Day Had Finally Arrived,

Zufar and Adam stood in front of the training facility. The building was five stories tall, each floor serving a different purpose.

Ground Floor – Staff offices, a registration counter, and a beginner's gym.

Second Floor – A gym for those who passed the selection test.

Third Floor – A training arena where fighters could test their strength against each other.

Fourth Floor – The elite zone, reserved for professional fighters.

Top Floor – The owner's private area, accessible only to selected individuals. This top floor was where VIPs often came to recruit fighters for their teams.

---

After registering, Zufar and Adam were escorted to the beginner's gym. There were 20 participants competing for a spot in the selection test.

This facility valued quality over quantity—only the best would be accepted. Even though Adam was recommended thanks to his father's connections, he wasn't given special treatment. He still had to prove himself—there were no shortcuts.

"Okay, everyone!! Please take your places!! Beginners to the left!! Those with experience who want to take the selection test, to the right!!" A loud and commanding voice echoed through the training hall. Standing in front of them was a large, muscular man.

"My name is Zafrul. I will be handling the selection process for the experienced fighters. To my left, let me introduce your instructor for beginners... Anis Qaryisma!!" he announced.

Zufar's eyes widened in shock. Seeing Anis in her martial arts uniform made her look completely different—more charismatic and authoritative. Adam also felt like he had seen her before, but he couldn't quite recognize her.

"Are you serious, sir? You're making her our instructor? Don't joke around!!"

A man in his twenties shouted in protest, questioning the decision. Many others agreed with him, doubting Anis's ability to teach.

Anis simply smirked.

She challenged the man to fight her if he doubted her skills. The man quickly made excuses, claiming that he had no martial arts experience yet. Instead, he insisted that Anis should fight someone from the experienced group on the right side.

Anis agreed. She issued a challenge to anyone willing to fight her.

If someone defeated her, they would pass the selection test instantly—no need to take the exam. Many were tempted by the offer, but Anis's aura made them hesitate, unsure if they could actually win.

The room fell silent. Then, Adam raised his hand.

"Are you serious, Adam? That girl is really strong. I've fought her before," Zufar whispered.

He knew very well the difference in strength between Adam and Anis. After all, Zufar had trained with Adam regularly before coming here.

Adam assured Zufar that he could win this fight. After his battle at the playground, he had gained confidence in his abilities. He wanted to prove that his training with Zufar hadn't been a waste. Adam stepped onto the stage, ready to accept the challenge.

Anis froze for a moment. Her face turned bright red upon seeing Adam. She was shocked to be facing Adam in such an unexpected situation. As a girl, she would have preferred to make a graceful first impression. But instead, their first real encounter was as opponents in battle.

"Looks like someone is brave enough to try... But if you lose, you'll be disqualified from the selection." Anis tried to intimidate Adam.

But Adam remained silent, fully focused on passing this challenge. Anis bit her lip, realizing she had no choice but to go through with the fight.

She took her stance, ready to begin. Adam, meanwhile, was deep in thought, trying to formulate a strategy. He had one technique in mind—a move he had been waiting to test.

Anis took a deep breath and got into her fighting stance. Adam, however, remained still, not making a single move. Anis gestured with her hand, signaling for him to make the first move.

"Ladies first," Adam replied casually.

Without hesitation, Anis charged forward, launching a flurry of attacks.

Adam blocked and tried to create distance, searching for the right footwork to increase his speed. Noticing Adam's intent, Anis shifted her attack lower, targeting his legs. Adam failed to defend in time and fell to the ground. He tried to get back up, but Anis locked him down. She stepped on both of his hands, preventing him from moving. Anis attempted to force Adam to surrender.

However, Adam countered with a strong leg swing, causing Anis to lose her balance. Seizing the opportunity, Adam quickly stood up and went for an attack.

But suddenly, he tripped over his own feet and fell face-first in front of Anis. Anis didn't dodge, caught off guard by the unexpected turn of events. The crowd erupted into whistles and loud cheers, the scene turning chaotic.

"Whoa!!! This feels like a romance movie!!!" someone joked.

As Adam fell, he accidentally pushed Anis, causing her shirt to lift slightly. Even though she was wearing an inner shirt, the situation was enough to make her face turn bright red with embarrassment.

"That's enough!! Get over there!!"

Zafrul grabbed Adam with one hand and threw him aside. Zufar quickly caught him, preventing a hard fall. The crowd cheered, giving Adam thumbs up, approving of his bold move earlier.

Zafrul, however, was furious and started beating up the rowdy students who had been making jokes. They scattered in all directions, running for their lives before they became Zafrul's next victims.

Meanwhile, Anis adjusted her clothes and stood still, trying to compose herself. After a brief pause, the event continued as usual, as if nothing had happened.
