**Hello, everyone!** I'm creating this novel after reading a Chinese novel based on Warhammer 40K and other universes with similar themes.

I'm mixing **Sci-Fi** with **Fantasy**, so I'm not sure how well it will turn out.

I hope you enjoy it!

Oliver gazed at the stars in the infinite expanse of space from inside his small spacecraft. The colors and lights of the endless black abyss gave him a sense of both insignificance and adventure. *"This would have been a breathtaking sight in my past life,"* he thought.

Oliver was a transmigrator, though he had only recently transmigrated. His new body belonged to a young man named **Oliver Ironseed**, the heir of a renowned family of colonizers and military officers in the Empire of Humanity.

To provide some context, the story takes place in the year **22,000** since the beginning of humanity's interstellar era. In this era, technology has advanced tremendously, and humanity has taken control of tens of thousands of planets and galaxies across the infinite universe.

However, not everything is perfect. With humanity's rapid expansion, they soon encountered other species in a similar state of expansion and dominance. Wars for conquest and supremacy quickly broke out.

Ancient and powerful beings, abyssal demons from other dimensions, predators, space parasites, and rebellious machines—these threats nearly brought the Empire to its knees multiple times. In a desperate act, the Empire infused the essence of an ancient galactic being into a young human.

Thus, the **Emperor of Humanity** was born. Possessing powers far beyond those of ordinary humans, he created legions from his own blood and flesh, naming them **Guardians** (those who inherited his strength and resilience) and **Sorcerers** (those who inherited his powers and energy).

With this, humanity's counterattack began. Thousands of years of war, conquest, and glory followed, and little by little, humanity continued to evolve and expand across the universe.

As the heir of the Ironseed family, Oliver was expected to have an easy life, choosing either to colonize and develop conquered planets or lead armies in the name of humanity.

Unfortunately, the original Oliver was an idiot with no talent for politics. In the end, he was tricked by an old rival of his father and ended up accepting a mission to become a **"Seed"** for a colony on a planet light-years away in a distant galaxy.

A "Seed" is the Empire's euphemistic term for someone sent on a suicide mission alone, armed with nothing but an energy blaster and a colonization ship, to a planet believed to be capable of supporting human life.

And so, the young Oliver, filled with determination and leaving only a letter for his family, boarded one of these ships and headed for the teleportation gate that launched him toward the coordinates near the planet.

*"At least I didn't die during the journey,"* he thought. Nearly half of the Seeds sent on such missions die shortly after arrival—either because they're too close to the planet, get thrown into a nearby dimension, or collide with something along the way.

The rest usually die upon discovering that the planet is uninhabitable or because some native creature isn't very friendly. Only **0.00003%** of Seeds successfully colonize a planet and develop it until the arrival of the real colonial ship and the Imperial Navy.

Oliver stood up from his seat and walked over to the control panel, adjusting the camera view outside the spacecraft to get a look at the planet he was about to land on. It was a beautiful marine-blue planet, covered in clouds and many times larger than Earth.

*"Computer, how long until we reach the planet?"*

**(14 hours and 22 minutes, Sir Oliver. Would you like me to wake you before we enter the atmosphere?)**

*"Yes, please,"* Oliver replied, taking one last look at the blue planet before stepping away from the panel and heading to his quarters. The ship was relatively spacious, about the size of a three-story house.

It had everything necessary to start a colony: a home (the spacecraft itself), a matter generator powered by energy, and a highly precise 3D printer connected to the ship's computer, which stored technological blueprints.

Oliver walked to his room and lay down on the bed, determined to rest a little before what would likely be the most turbulent hours of his new life. But just as he closed his eyes, a sound echoed in his ears.

**(Ding!)**

*"What the...?"* Oliver looked around but saw nothing. *"Computer, was that you?"*

**(No, sir.)**

The voice of the ship reassured him briefly, but when he closed his eyes again, the sound returned.

**(Ding! Sovereign System installation complete.)**

*"What's going on?!"* Oliver opened his eyes and realized the sound was coming from inside his mind. In the next instant, a blue mental screen appeared in front of him.

**(Sovereign System

Current Territories: None

There was a moment of silence as Oliver processed what was happening. Then, a faint smile spread across his face, and he began to laugh uncontrollably. *"There it is! My golden finger!"* he exclaimed, laughing loudly.

**(Sir, are you suffering from a mental disorder? If you wish, I am programmed to serve as a psychiatric assistant.)**

Hearing the ship's question, Oliver stopped laughing but kept smiling. *"Don't worry. I'm just excited about our new colony."*

**(Maintaining a positive attitude is extremely important for success. We will undoubtedly establish a great colony.)**
