**13 Hours Later**

**(Entering the planet's atmosphere!)**

The ship gave a gentle warning, which Oliver ignored as he focused on the scene ahead. *"Now, let's find a good place to land,"* he said, moving to the control panel to take over the navigation systems. But at that moment, an error occurred.

**(WARNING: Navigation system is damaged and cannot be controlled.)**

*"What?!"* Oliver shouted, and moments later, a realization dawned on him. *"Those damn dogs! They sabotaged my ship!"* It didn't take much thought to figure out what had happened. The people who sent him here clearly didn't want him to have even the slightest chance of succeeding—or surviving—this suicide mission.

*"Computer, calculate our current trajectory and show me alternatives!"* Oliver yelled. Immediately, several screens displayed their current path, with real-time calculations.

**(According to our current trajectory, we will collide directly with a mountain. Estimated time to impact: 3 minutes and 20 seconds.)**

*"Damn it,"* he cursed.

**(All control systems are disabled. However, it is still possible to activate the thrusters by burning all emergency fuel!)**

Oliver's mind raced. If he activated the thrusters, he could return to the planet's stratosphere—but that would mean certain death, as there was no way to go back. If he stayed on his current course, he might not even get that chance.

**(Time to impact: 1 minute and 3 seconds.)**

*"Think, think!"* His eyes darted across the various panels, searching for a solution. Suddenly, his eyes lit up with an idea. He manually accessed the thrusters.

**(Time to impact: 22 seconds!)**

The ship broke through the clouds, and Oliver could see a lush green forest below. But he had no time to admire the view—a massive mountain loomed ahead, rapidly approaching.

**(10 seconds...)**

**(9...)**

**(8...)**

**(7...)**

**(6...)**

*"Now!"* Just as the ship was about to collide with the mountain, Oliver activated the thrusters. They roared to life, pushing the ship upward and narrowly missing the mountain's peak.

Seeing that his plan had worked, Oliver didn't even allow himself a moment of relief. *"Cut the thrusters!"* he shouted. In the next instant, the ship split in two, with the upper section gliding downward and the thrusters veering off toward the horizon.

**(New trajectory calculated. Deploying emergency parachutes!)**

The front of the ship exploded, and a parachute was released, stabilizing the descent. *"Thank the Emperor,"* Oliver muttered, relaxing in his seat as he watched the landing site through the ship's camera.

Below was a vast grassy plain, with dense forests in the distance. To the west stood the towering mountain, and to the south, though far away, he could see a pristine blue ocean. In the sky, two large red moons hung in the distance.

As the ship descended, the computer continued to extract data from the planet, sending new conclusions and images.

**(Detected oxygen levels and molecules similar to Earth's!)**

Oliver sighed in relief. At least he knew the planet's atmosphere wasn't hostile, meaning he could survive on the surface without constantly replenishing his oxygen.

**(WARNING! An unusual amount of residual energy has been detected on the planet!)**

Oliver's eyes widened as he heard the alert. The camera view shifted to highlight the residual energy in the air. *"By the Emperor!"* he exclaimed. Before him stretched a sea of blue energy, perfectly integrated into the planet.

**(ABNORMAL ENERGY LEVELS DETECTED!)**

**(Danger classification: Level 7. Warning: This planet may harbor high-level lifeforms!)**

*"Level 7,"* Oliver murmured in disbelief. The Empire classified habitable planets on a threat scale of 1 to 10. For a planet with a minimally advanced civilization, the maximum threat level was 5. So what did it mean to go beyond that?

Worlds with high levels of manipulable energy could give rise to special lifeforms. To date, the highest energy level recorded in the known universe was 8, with levels 9 and 10 reserved for planets in special dimensions.

Only three planets had ever reached Level 8: Earth, which achieved it after years of artificial manipulation by the Emperor; the Primal Planet of the Observers, an advanced alien race that opposed war and maintained minimal territory; and Neteria, a planet dragged into the abyss and returned as the home of powerful abyssal demons capable of destroying smaller worlds single-handedly.

A Level 7 planet meant beings capable of destroying planets on their own could emerge here. Oliver put his hands on his head and took a deep breath. He remained silent until the ship finally landed on the vast plain.

**(As the first colonist of this planet, you have the right to name it! Please register the planet's name.)**

Oliver was silent for a moment as he gazed at the endless green plains, covered in a slightly thicker type of grass. Then he looked up at the beautiful blue sky and the clouds, remembering the red moons he had seen earlier.

Finally, something inside him calmed. *"Let's call it Ruby, in honor of its red moons and its clear, bright sky,"* Oliver said with a smile, standing up.

**(Name registered.)**

This was his new life, his new beginning. And he hoped that from here on out, many new things would happen. *"Despite everything, I feel like if I don't survive to blow up the bastards who sent me here to die, I'll regret it deeply,"* he silently vowed. Light-years away, a few people felt a chill run down their spines.
