Oliver took some time to understand the specifics of the system and what **Glory Points** could be used for. First, they could be used to train soldiers who would be loyal to him and established as troops. These troops could range from **Level 1 to Level 5**.

In the **technology** section, it was exactly what the name suggested: a gacha system. It cost 10 points for the basic level, 100 for the next, and then 1,000 and 10,000 respectively. He had no idea what he might get if he spun it, so he decided not to try his luck for now.

As for **territories**, the larger the area he controlled and the more production it generated, the more points he would earn each month. Finally, regarding **heroes**, he didn't get much information. Perhaps he would discover more about that in the future.

*"Well, I'd better explore the surroundings. I need to collect soil samples and prepare to map the area,"* Oliver said to himself. The ship had already mapped the surface within a 30-kilometer radius, but it was better to be safe than sorry.

Oliver entered his quarters, and with a snap of his fingers, the floor opened to reveal a **Warm12 combat and exploration suit** and a **Blaster3**. The suit was beige with small plates covering vital points, typically used by civilian security forces, especially for jungle defense. It was resistant to cuts but offered little protection against firearms compared to more advanced Imperial equipment. The Blaster, similarly, was a nearly non-lethal security weapon. It had two modes: a rapid-fire mode that shot low-energy rays, which were non-lethal but caused bruising, and a charged mode that delivered a more powerful shot.

*"Simple weapons, but it's all I've got for now,"* Oliver muttered with a sarcastic smile, cursing once again the people who had sent him to this place.

Meanwhile, in another location.

In a forest a few kilometers from where Oliver had landed, several villagers from **Blackwood Village** were cutting logs and transporting wood back to their settlement. *"Hey, did you see that?"* Liza, a young woman, asked one of her brothers, pointing at the sky.

Elias, one of her brothers, looked in the direction she pointed but saw nothing unusual. *"I don't see anything. Focus on your work, Liza. We need to finish this batch before sunset,"* he said, giving his younger sister a light scolding before returning to swinging his axe at a tree.

*"I'm sure I saw something in the sky,"* Liza murmured to herself and went back to removing branches from a fallen trunk. Their village survived by collecting wood and hunting for trade.

By the afternoon, they had finished cutting the logs and began heading back to the village. But Liza decided to investigate the object she had seen falling from the sky. *"Brother, I'm going to take a walk in the forest. I'll be back by nightfall,"* she said. Elias stopped walking and looked at her firmly before letting out a long sigh.

*"If I don't let you go, you'll sneak out at night anyway, won't you?"* he said. Liza gave him a smile without saying a word, making him sigh again. Since they were children, his sister had always been stubborn and did whatever she wanted, no matter the situation.

*"Just be careful. I heard from Elder Obol that the number of goblins in the forest has increased, and there have even been traces of Earth Bears,"* Elias warned her, handing her his axe before continuing to walk with the other lumberjacks, accompanying a cart loaded with logs.

Waving to her brother, Liza quickly entered the forest and began heading toward the area where she remembered seeing something fall from the sky.

Oliver approached the forest while observing his surroundings through his helmet. Although the atmosphere was breathable, various tests and precautions still needed to be taken before he could walk around completely carefree.

Kneeling down, he touched the ground and collected some soil, placing it in a container for later analysis. *"The biodiversity of this planet seems very similar to Earth's. I wonder why,"* Oliver commented to himself, touching one of the nearby trees.

Even through his gloves, he could feel the softness of the bark. Looking up, he admired the red and black coloration of the leaves and branches. The entire forest looked like an exuberant sea of red leaves.

Using his knife, he collected a piece of bark for analysis and stood up, looking into the forest, determined to enter and try to find some living creatures. *"The genetic system of an animal can reveal a lot about the diseases and threats in this area. I hope I don't run into anything dangerous,"* he said. Suddenly, a voice sounded in his helmet.

**(Sir, life forms have been detected approaching your position rapidly.)**

The cold voice of the ship's computer alerted him immediately. Looking at his wrist, which was equipped with a screen, he saw four red dots moving toward him from the forest. Without hesitation, Oliver drew his Blaster, which was strapped to his leg, and aimed it into the forest.

He held his breath and waited patiently. His suit soon picked up the sounds of hurried footsteps and grunts in the air. Time seemed to freeze as he recalled all the training his host had undergone in this life.

A moment later, a figure emerged from behind a tree about 12 meters away. Oliver prepared to pull the trigger but froze. In front of him stood a young, beautiful human woman with brown hair, carrying an axe and looking breathless. Her clothes were a mix of leather and stitched cotton.

At that moment, Liza also froze upon seeing Oliver. To her, he looked like a scaly humanoid with a metal head and glass eyes, holding a black staff. But then she heard faint grunts behind her and, without hesitation, charged at Oliver, swinging her axe in an attempt to kill him.

She screamed as she ran toward him, swinging her axe with determination, but Oliver easily dodged by taking a step back and punched her in the face, causing her to stumble back with a bleeding nose.

*"Ah, I'm sorry! That was a reflex,"* Oliver tried to say, but Liza didn't understand him. As she shouted what sounded like curses, she attacked again with her axe. This time, instead of dodging, Oliver grabbed her arm and applied a judo throw, slamming her to the ground.

*Bam!*

The sound of the impact echoed. Without hesitation, Oliver stepped on Liza's stomach and pointed his weapon at her head, keeping his finger on the trigger. Realizing she had been subdued, Liza raised her hands in surrender.

A strange silence followed for a few seconds, but before Oliver could say anything, his suit picked up more sounds coming from the forest. Without hesitation, he aimed his Blaster in that direction. A moment later, a small, muscular green humanoid creature charged at him with a stone club.

*Bang!*

Liza closed her eyes, frightened by the sound of the blaster firing. She looked at the goblin Oliver had shot. The monster fell to the ground with a burned hole in its forehead. Two more goblins appeared but froze upon seeing their companion's fate.

Without hesitation, Oliver fired twice more, killing the two goblins with precise shots. He then turned his Blaster back to Liza, who was trembling with fear. *"I'm sorry, but this is going to hurt,"* Oliver said to the human woman. Her eyes reflected confusion.

Without waiting for a response, he decisively kicked her in the head, knocking her out instantly. *"I hope she doesn't hate me for this,"* he said with a sarcastic smile. After collecting blood and organic material from the goblins, he slung Liza over his shoulder and carried her back to his ship.
