chapter 1:Marriage?
The screaming, the cheering, the lights, the drinks everything fit the atmosphere so well, it was Brianna's bachelorette party and jian was having the time of her life, as the crowd surrounded her, her best friend chole held up the timer and jian kept chugging one drink after another
"Jian,jian" the crowd cheered with encouragement,which gave her a boast of energy.
"Isnt she a light drinker" Seth asked his brother the groom,
"She's gonna be fine" he waved, he was already dead drunk, slumped on the couch with a hangover drink
"Woah" jian cheered she had beat the high score, drinking fifteen glass shots in thirteen seconds, stumbling down the chair, she tried to leave for the bathroom, seth couldn't watch anymore as she and her future sister-in-law swayed together giggling.
"I'll take it from here" he announced pulling jian towards him,
"Oh thank you man" Bianca thanked, giving him a playful hit on the arm, her fiance called her over and she stumbled towards him falling on his lap, seth couldn't help but shake his head the pair we truly made for each other
"Puke, puke" jian mumured her hand over her mouth, seth took that as his que to move, he helped her to the bathroom and opened the toilet seat for her, and held back her hair stroking it gently to help her relieve her stomach.
"Ugh, i hate drinking" jian complained and seth couldn't help but smile shaking his head, the one that drank herself to oblivion while having the time of her life was now complaining,
"You should cut your hair short" he randomly commented to which he received a glare, 'do you want to die' she was literally saying with her eyes
"Ugh" jian groaned as she threw her head back falling on seth who was behind her she ended up leaning against him,
"Hey, get up" he said trying to push her off but the girl refused and clunged unto him like glue.
"5 minutes" she grumbled, even though she was complaining under his breath he made no move to push her off, looking down at her, he couldn't help but stare she was really pretty when she wasn't acting crazy, her lashes were long fanning her face, her dark hair falling over her fair skin made a beautiful contrast, so thats how her lips looked like when they aren't talking smack about him or arguing with him, they look kissable
"Get up" Seth pushed her off, where was his thoughts straying too,
"Ugh" jian groaned again as she tried standing you and she was violently pushed off she ended up on the floor
"Where are you going" seth asked as she walked out, stumbling and holding onto the way not to get up on the ground again
"Rooftop, air" she answered giving him the 'duh where you think im going' face
"The rooftop's that way" he said pointing at the opposite direction
"Kitchen, beer" she announced as she walked in
"I didn't sign up for this" seth complained but followed her regardless, she ended up with 12 cans of beer, smiling at him to which he scowled and she just giggled heading to the rooftop, seth took a big sigh before joining her
"The air is so nice" she said with a sigh pulling her shoulders together thue to the cold, seth noticed her small action, she usually easily catches cold and she still proceeded to wear a dress, she was too much, he removed his coat and threw it at her, she looked at him confused, she was disoriented and before her mind clicked that he threw it at her to wear it he was already grabbing it back, she tried to grab it back but seth already stood up and pulled her up and turning her around
"What are you doing" she asked confused, seth didn't answer tho, he just lifted her hands and wore the coat for her, she just sheepishly smiled at him and let him help her with it when he was done he guarded her back to her chair before pushing her down with her shoulders making her seat back down.
"Thanks" she muttered shyly, and for a few seconds seth was memorized, he couldn't believe the jian was blushing, alcohol really does wonders,
"Beer" she offered clearing her throat after she noticed the weird atmosphere
"No, I'm good" Seth declined, she was already drunk enough, if he wanted to drink aswell and they'll both end up drunk, it might not be good so he was satisfied with just watching her, she was cute, it wasn't like he was Inlove with her or anything it was refreshing for them to be sitting peacefully than going for each other's throat and he knew if he tried to stop her or snatch her drink it was going to be war all out, he was just going to silently observe her and keep her company and make sure she doesn't overdrink but things didn't go as planned because as jian tiled her head back to glup up the drink, he noticed every little detail, how the can pressed against her pink soft lips, how the liquid escaped her mouth gliding down her throat into her dress and- suddenly he felt the urge to drink so he snatched the next can she opened up
"Hey" she complained but didn't snatch it back instead she just opened another, 7 beers in he was already on his way to being dead drunk, he didn't realize he was just a light drinker
"Do you wanna cut my hair" jian asked after a while of comfortable silence
"What" seth asked a bit disoriented, jian didn't repeat herself but instead pulled out a small but sharp scissors from her safety shorts and Seth couldn't help but laugh
"Its for emergency" she explained with a smirk, handing him the scissors before she turned around facing the other side
"Cut it" she said but more like comanded, seth put down his unfinished beer, stared at her hair for a while before proceeding
"Why are cu-cutting it" he stuttered
"You said I'll..look prettier" jian answered playing with her fingers, seth hummed in response as he continued, about 30 minutes later he was done, her hair was shorter now, showing her fair neck and he couldn't help but stare, the alcohol was working because if not he wouldn't even dare do what he did next and jian wouldn't even in another world let him do it and be fine with it, he suddenly hugged her from behind placing his head on her shoulder, she was startled for a moment staying absolutely still, but the more they stayed like that, the more she actually didn't mind
"Is it pretty" she asked slightly turning her head to see his face. Seth hummed in response smiling contently
"Your heavy" she complained with a pout and seth couldn't help but laugh, he wasn't even putting that much body weight on her but he got up and took another beer, by the 11th beer he was really drunk
"There's one left" jian commented she actually only drank 2 and just watched as seth chugged down one bottle after another as if he was preparing for war, seth turned and looked at her and caught her staring with a smile, that was it he opened the last can of beer for psychological support and pulled her closer , startling her, she let out a cry but the sound was muffled by Seth's lips, jian stayed still holding her breath, what was going on, where was she.
"Close your eyes and breath" she heard him say and she did. Even though she was drunk, she still had the memory locked in, he smelled like strawberrys they were her favorite and he tasted like beer and cinnamon, even though she tried to breath, she just couldn't this was the first time she was being kissed and her drunked mind couldn't comprehend anything,
"You can breath now" she heard him chuckle, she opened her eyes and puffed her cheeks, he was making fun of her and crossed her arms refusing to look at her, now seth was laughing she was so adorably cute, if someone told him demon jian could be cute he would have called it the joke of the century.
"Just close your eyes,open your mouth and breath" seth instructions and jian nodded before following,
"Breath" he reminded as he noticed that she kept her eyes tightly shut and she was holding her breath, seth chuckled seeing how hard she was trying,he realized she was probably nervous so he tugged a strand of her hair behind her ear, his fingers lingering against her cheeks for a moment longer, when he noticed she was loosening up he smiled her eyes were not as tightly shut as before and she wasn't holding her breath, he leaned in as their breaths mingled with each other he whispered
"You can open your eyes" to which she did, he was staring at her with emotions she couldn't figure out, it sent shivers down her spine, he leaned in and finally their lips was pressed against each other, seth had been wondering how her lips could feel like if he kissed her, since he saw that can of beer pressed against her lips and he couldn't even discribe the feeling, she tasted like grapes,probably her lipgloss and something he couldn't comprehend but loved anyways, for jian there was fire works going on in her head, she felt warm and cold at thesame time, she felt the warmth all over her body and the cold on her lips but she wasn't complaining, she closed her eyes slowly and smiled before hooking her arms around his neck and he took that as a go-head pulling her closer by the waist to deeppen the kiss but her lips were still shut so he bit her lips and she hissed, he took that opportunity to infiltrate her mouth, seth only released her from his clutches when she was struggling to breath to catch her breath, they stared at each other for a while catching their breaths before they just began laughing uncontrollably, alcohol just doing wonders.
"Waoh" Seth exclaimed as he was suddenly pulled by the collar by a excitingly looking jian, her eyes were literally sparkling and she had this big excited smile
"Again" she said
"Huh" Seth was a bit confused before he could understand again, jian was already springing on him and they ended up tumbling on the floor, jian ended up falling ontop of seth
"You okay" seth asked and jian nodded instead of getting up, she just lay on his chest, they lay like tha for a while when jian suddenly sprang up
"More beer" she said with a grin and just ran, it took seth a moment to click back and by the time he caught up she was in the kitchen rummaging through the alcohol rank
"I-i don't th-think we need more" seth said leaning on the door frame watching as jian busied herself with whatever she was finding
"Here" she staggered forward with two glasses for the wine
"This is to celebrate" she added, popping open the bottle
"Celebrating what" seth asked picking up one of the glasses she filled up, jian didn't answer and just kept pouring one glass after another, soon the two were absolutely drunk
"Shhh" jian hushed, seth was about to ask why he was being hushed but jian just kept going on
"Too loud" she whispered and seth just nodded, and he also began to husing her, the two just kept at it until they heard footsteps, they glanced at each other and immediately ran out to hide under the staircase
"Oh btw, seen seth" Berlu asked, his friend
""I'm-" seth began but jian pulled him down
"Noo" she whispered, shaking her head and giving him a disappointed disapproving look to which seth just sat back down like a puppy abandoned by their owner, as soon as berlu and the others left, jian grabbed seth collar pulling him towards her again
"Now let's kiss" she was very eager
"Huh" Seth was a bit confused but as soon as jian presssed her lips against him, he same back to his drunken senses and reciprocated th kiss, this kiss wasn't like the last time, the first kiss was gentle, like the waves on a calm beach, it was sweet, calm and slow but this one was fierce it was giving prey and predator, not like any of them were complaining, one couldn't even tell who was being the predator and who was being preyed upon, the pair had to take a break to catch their breaths, they leaned their forehead against each other smiling, before going back at it, this time their were hands everywhere, looks like each time was fiercer than the other
"Wait" jian stoped grabbing Seth's hand that were making their way to her thighs he did stop but his mouth was on her neck
"Noo" she whined pushing him off
"We-have to um marriage" she explained pointing at the both of them
"Right" seth agreed, giving her a thumbs up
"Let's go" jain said excited the duo stumbled to her room, where she collect her bag and then they headed to Seth's room, where he rummaged through his bags to find he's ID after finding it the duo made their escape giggling in excitement as the Adeline rush hit, soon the pair of we're in a taxi heading to the bureau of civil affairs
"We're getting married" jian declares to the driver in excitement
"Yaa" seth ecoed
"Congratulations" the driver congratulated, he couldn't help but smile at the pair of lovers behind him, they really matched well he thought, only if he knew how wrong he was, lovers? They'll throw up if anyone identified them as such if they were sober
"We're here" the driver said helping seth open the door as he helped jian out
"Up,up,up" she ecoed, her hands up in the air, seth didn't refuse her, he carried her princess style after paying the cab which technically the cab driver paid himself, he had to help seth open his wallet then take out the correct bill before putting it back,
"Thank you" jian waved at him to which he wished them a blessed marriage and drove off, seth and jian looked at each other and nodded, holding hands tightly they entered they entered the civil affairs bureau, one hour 20 minutes later they were out with their marriage certificates, again no need for communication they just looked at each other and understood what they meant, they ended up in a restaurant private room with the biggest spread of all types if delicacies, there was loud music playing making the atmosphere very fun and lively, this atmosphere and loud music was going to be one of Jian's core memories of the night, the two were really giving off the newly wedded couple vibes, clinging to each other like glue, feeding each other, dancing and giving flash kisses here and there
"Ah" jian suddenly remembered, seth just watched on as she rummaged through her bag, throwing out everything to find something
"Here" she said pulling out a ring, she blushed as she Shyly stretched out the ring towards seth, it was one of her most priced possession her grandma's ring but seth was her husband now so he can have it, she thought with a smile
"Its our wedding ring" she whispered
"But i didn't get you one" seth sulked, he really felt bad, shouldn't he be the one getting the ring, jian noticing he's mood changed so she tip toed and gave him a peek putting the ring in his trouser pocket
"You makesure to get me one,only then you're allowed to wear it" she warned which elevated Seth's mood "hm" he agreed pulling her closer as they danced to the mudic.
by the time, thwy were done it was already 4am the pair were tired, they just lay cuddling on the sofa when Seth's phone rang it was his brother
"We-go home" he was still drunk off the ranks
"Hm" jian agreed but made no effort to get up, seth picked up he's phone but he couldn't even recieve the call
"Up" he said picking he's phone and jian who was half passed out at this point, they've already paid so they just left, by some miracle they made it out without falling off the stairs or just passing out, luck was truly on their side because they managed to find a cab aswell as Soon as they got out, it wasn't only late but the area and restaurant they went to was really a rich man's area so they're aren't many cabs passing by, everyone basically had a car or cars so finding a cab that easily was a miracle, the two at this point we're at the verge of passing out, jian decided to rest so she lay on Seth's lap, who was subconsciously stroking her hair, lost in the moment jian didn't realize the certificates that she was gripping were no more in her hands but had slipped down inbetween the gap inbetween the two seats.
"Sir" the driver called shaking seth whose eyes were open but didn't look like he was awake
"We're here" he announced, looking around seth realized they had indeed arrived, he took out his wallet and just handed it to the driver, he opened the wallet and looked back at seth who was too drunk to even spell his own name at that moment since nothing else was in the wallet except money, he kept all of it even though it was triple the amount
"Bye" jian waved and the man waved back before quickly driving off
"Shhh" jian hused and seth just nodded,
"Look its chlo" she whispered pointing at her best friend who was spiralled on the coach, fast asleep, seth nodded at pointed at his best friend who was on the living room carpet snoring and they both giggled. since seth shared his room with his best friend they ended up in Jian's room, everyone was already asleep or passed out at a random corner snoring. As soon as they got in she declared
"We should make out" as she swung her hand over he's shoulder
"Bet" he agreed, pulling her towards him they began to makout, before you know it clothes were coming off and the pair ended up on the bed but just as things were getting interesting jian pushed him off
"Puke, puke" she repeated and seth immediately helped her to the bathroom, after relieving her stomach, she ended up leaning on seth and the two couldn't stop chuckling, seth ended up dragging her to her bed, the moment she plumbed on it she was gone, dreamland.
"Ugh" seth groaned, he's head was killing him and he's Vision was getting blurry, he decided to go downstairs for some drink, halfway to the fridge he stumbled on an empty can of beer and fell over someone's leg which was berlu's he's best friend
"Mann" he shook him tryna wake him up but he didn't even stir so he just climbed onto the coach next to him and passed out. In the morning he'll have only three memories of the previous night, he's first kiss, the rooftop and laughing on the bathroom floor and jian was left with memories of her first kiss, loud music and 12 cans of beer.
