Chapter 7: him-him
"You must be the best friend" seth asked smiling but it wasn't a friendly smile, it's the type you give your enemy before ending them off
"You must be the pest" Ethan asked with raised brows
"That's how i was introduced" seth asked chuckling, typical jian
"Pretty accurate I'll say" Ethan said walking away to carry more boxes, he wasn't in the mood to entertain seth, even the way the guy breaths sets him off, he was too cocky and confident for his own good, as for seth he was having the time of his life pissing Ethan off.
"Oh my God, that's not it" frank complained
"Shut up and mind your business" Berlu yelled as he tried to get the bulbs to come on, he was already frustrated and frank was just adding to it
"You're fixing it wrong" frank yelled back
"You really want another beating don't you" berlu asked putting down the bulb
"Says the person, i beat the hell out of" frank said with a scoff
"What did you say" berlu asked as he walked towards him, he was ready for another fight.
"Oh move" frank pushed him out of the way picking up the box
"This is all your fault" berlu yelled after him
"If you didn't punch me starting a fight we wouldn't be in this situation" frank said rolling his eyes
"Yeah, if you didn't have your eyes on what mine, we won't be here" Berlu said grabbing him by the arm which frank shrugged off him
"Yours?" he asked scoffing
"Get your head out of the clouds" he continued before walking off
"Oh by the way, you turn it towrds the left for it to come on" he halted, berlu couldn't believe him, he really wanted to give him another bunch to reset his senses, looks like someone lost a few screws in their sense but thanks to his advice he didn't have to spend all day trying to fix the little vine bulbs, he wasn't all that useless after all.
"All done" Marco clapped
"I think we did a pretty good job" jian said with a proud smile and the two agreed after Stephanie checked it over and approved, Marco decided to check on the guys but jian and Chloe declined the offer to go with him so he left on his own
"Let's go check out the sculptures" Chloe suggested and jian agreed so the two set out before they'll be dragged to do something else
"Soo" Chloe began dragging her speech, she was all nervous, she took a deep breath before she began
"I'm kind of in a situation" she said and jian nodded, when Chloe noticed she was listening and didn't say anything it encouraged her to speak, she needed someone to listen so she can ramble on to her hearts desire and jian was that someone
"So i like him okay and he said he likes me but turns out he was playing mez he said that and did all those things to piss him off because he likes me too and he stole her highschool crush and then left her and he just wanted to do that to me too so he can get back at him and he said it was that at first but it's not anymore but I don't believe it and I'm done with him now that I'm liking his friend he's saying all that stuff and now they're fighting" jian who just kept nodding and consoling her friend was as confused as ever, she had to go back home, alone in her room, lights out, full concentration to understand what chole just said, she was sure even chole herself didn't understand what she said
"Soo, it's about Berlu and frank right" she asked just to confirm so she'll put the right names to the him and hims. Chloe just nodded as she was a sobbing mess, jian spent at least 30 minutes consoling her, before she said she was fine and that they should go in, on their way they bumped into Berlu and frank, jian couldn't help scowl at them before scoffing and walking off, leaving the two confused
"What did we do" Berlu asked confused and frank shrugged,
"Really" seth asked smacking both of them, these guys are unbelievable, obviously Chloe told jian that's why I mean they're best friend so obviously sooner or later she'll know.they couldn't even connect the dots, so much for being smart he thought shaking his head like a disappointed father.
"You sure you okay" jian asked concerned but Chloe assuranced her she was okay and was just happy to get it off her chest
"Bet, you didn't understand a thing" she said laughing
"Your bad at explanation" jian teased
"Girls night" Chloe asked and jian couldn't be more excited, her eyes literally had fireworks in them, girls night means spilling secrets, makeup night, gossiping, jian really missed that so she was excited about it
"Well, what's your secret" chloe asked with a chuckle
"You have to be prepared" jian said taking a deep breath, how serious was it chloe was sure her situation was worst until she heard what jian had to say
"I kissed seth" she said closing her eyes as if she didn't want to see the type of expression chloe was showing but she closed the wrong hole, her ears was the one that needed protecting because chloe let out an ear piercing scream, jian had to put her hand over her mouth and tell her to calm down
"Shhh" she shushed and only ler her go when she made sure she wasn't going to scream again and she had calmed down
"Girls night" she said pushing jian out of the bathroom, which made her laugh. The girls and guys didn't have any interactions since the morning, when they were done they went around taking photos and enjoying the scenery and having fun and then there was the boys who were left to do the hard labour, they went to pickup one box after one, they were sent to various places to get different things needed for the weeding
"Are we being punished" Berlu couldn't help but ask
"Maybe for your sins" seth said eyeing both Berlu and frank with an annoyed expression
"I should have left with Jian and Chloe" Marco complained
"Same" Ethan agreed, if Marco haven't greeted them and he ended up following the girls, high chance he wouldn't be here sweating all over and trying to control himself not to murder someone's son.
