Chapter 8: Husband
"What the" chole exclaimed the moment she saw the guys, rough hair, sweeting buckets, dusty not to talk about how rumple they looked. Were they ran over by a bull
"Ugh, my back hurts" Marco complained as he massaged his waist
"What did you guys do" jian asked confused, she had such a wonderful afternoon, how many light bulbs did they hang to end up like this,she couldn't help twisted her expression, thank God she wasn't put on light bulb duty.
"Omg" jian gasped as Ethan, seth and berlu walked in
"Wow jian, your husband be looking dusty" chole teased and a certain someone immediately had an ugly expression, he couldn't help but scornfully glanced at Ethan then at chole who uttered those horrible words, then at jian but she wasn't having an disagreeing expression infact she had a smile on which pissed him even more and to top it all off, jian was walking towards Ethan chuckling about some joke someone made, he wasn't even paying attention to whatever was being said he was hyper focused on two people jian and ethan. Ethan felt someone stare at him so he turned around only to be meet with a glare so fierce he was concerned he was going to be burned to ashes and for the first time since morning he felt like he won, anything and everything he did to piss of seth, got him pissed instead. The guy was just too cocky and confidence and now he was seeing how pissed he looked and he felt happy, he smirked at him, bending down to Jian's height who was trying to dust the dust off his hair and seth couldn't take it anymore, ethan couldn't hold it in he let out a chuckle before raising his brows at seth as if asking 'do you really want to compete with me' seth just scoffed before walking off in anger.
"What's up with him" berlu asked and the others shrugged or shook their heads, they were as confused as him except three people and one of them had a trumpet smile on
"What are you guys still doing there" seth halted to ask with a frown
"Poor us" Frank smirked, hand in his pocket as he walked off, leaving both berlu and marco laughing, looks like their dear friend needed some coaxing, he was bullied, now he's bullying them.
"Who hurt you" berlu asked as he placed one hand on his shoulder which earned him a glare, he retreated back both hands in the air as he was caught red-handed making fun of his best friend's misery, whatever that was, which he was indeed guilty of.
"Let's play cards" frank suggested and the other two agreed even though seth didn't comment they knew he was in
"Dont worry, i still think you have a better chance, he's a Best friend after all" frank whispered highlighting the word 'bestfriend' when he noticed marco and berlu were occupied arguing about something, seth turned to him shocked but frank just patted his shoulder before joining marco and Berlu's argument, indeed nothing can escape frank, seth couldn't help but smirk. He leaves up to his name as the eye of the group, that was how he was able to get to chloe before even berlu realized his own feeling and successful messing up with the guy, poor Berlu seth thought shaking his head.
"Lets go home" ethan suggested but the girls were not still done being awed by the place so instead of leaving they decided to stay and wait until the weeding dress arrived even though they'll still be able to see it in the morning. Since their dress fitting day was the next day but they decided to stay until midnight, when the dress would arrive.
"I'll be back" Ethan excused himself to use the bathroom,
"You girls staying" Stephanie asked as she passed by holding a bucket of money roses
"Staying" jian asked confused,
"Here, rooms upstairs" she briefed walking off, the girls looked at each other then squealed, this was music to their ears, they later got information from one of the other bridesmaid that they were gonna have a small party just the bride and her friends, no groom or his friends, it was going to be all pink and roses. Just fun girls stuff which made jian and chloe even more excited, girls night can wait until another day this night was going to be fun, she could just tell. As they walked around they saw their moms from a distance walking towards their direction discussing
"So everything when it comes to food is set, we'll have to be here very early" susan said as martha nodded writing something down, the two were the head of kitchen so they had to make sure the food was perfect
"Mom" both the girls called successfully getting their mothers attention
"You little" martha cursed knocking chloe on her head, she haven't seen the girl since she left for vegas for Briana's part they only talked on the phone, was she now abandoning her mother for Susan's food, since that was the place she decided to stay until after the weding, She just whined and ran to susan who hugged her, consoling her like a baby, martha and jian stared at each other before shaking their heads with look of disgust
"Aunty" jian greeted wanting to be babyniced aswell she ran to Martha's embrace
"My little ji-ji, when will you come and visit aunt" martha asked giving her a hug
"After the wedding, I'll come and spend the whole weekend with you" she promised
"So you girls ready to go" susan asked and the girls explained they were gonna stay and the two woman glances at each other with a 'i told you' expression which made the girls giggle, they waved goodbye and left their Separate ways.
"So just the girls" jian asked tiana, one of the other bridesmaid and the grooms best friend
"Yeap,fun right" Stephanie answered instead and the girls nodded
"You know the boys are copy cats, they're having one too but its on the otherside" Stephanie explained and the girls nodded with a displeased look, they just had to ruin their fun, can't they do something else than have a party in the same building as them
"We won't even hear there music, thats how far they are" mina chimmed in and they all laughed
"Where's the bride though" chloe asked
"With her man" Stephanie answered smirking at tiana who just gave her a smile before walking off, the girls didn't miss that interaction they glanced at each other then raised their brows, they just had a full flown conversation, looks like they're was drama.
