Fiancé vs. boyfriend?
Jay-jay's POV
I waited. I waited for them to scold me for what I did. I scolded and reprimanded but nothing happened. Not even one of them did anything. I was surprised to see them following me while setting the dining table. Grandma laughed while talking to Andy about apples. I was videotaping this! Apple! "Jay-jay!" Aunt Gema called me. "...help your Mama in the kitchen." I nodded forcefully. "S-okay." Andy almost went to the kitchen with me. He was a little ahead and Mama immediately greeted him with a kiss. You suddenly flinched at the word 'kiss'. Yack!!! "Jay... Son. Please bring this." Mama ordered. She smiled at me while pointing to a large bowl full of rice. I made her take it with difficulty before taking it and headed straight to dining. When I looked up, I almost dropped the bowl in shock. Son of shutanginames! "Hi..." Yuri greeted me absentmindedly. It's really raining bad luck today. But why does it seem like I'm the only one who caught it? I lowered my hand from the table and looked at her in surprise. I wanted to curse loudly. The sky would have rejected me for being so strong. She was holding a bouquet that would have been beautiful to look at but would also have been delicious to place on top of what would be her tomb. I looked at her annoyed. I'm not happy about her arrival and I want her to feel it. The truth is, I still feel bad for her. After she said that she was the one who set the snag----this wedding. I don't know, I feel like they helped me. I'm already giving Mama a hard time, she'll come along. That's great! Let's applaud! "And who is this handsome young man?" Mama asked with a smile....*ahem*. Yuri smiled ear to ear. Naks! He's so handsome! He's so handsome. I'm so angry with him that I shouldn't praise him. "Good evening. I'm Yuri Hanamitchi..." He introduced himself and handed the bouquet to Mama. "...for you." She quickly accepted it. She was still excited as she smelled the flowers. Wow! "You're the one who will be my son's wife." Mama said to Yuri with a smile. "...Call me Mama too." It seemed different to me when she said that. Strange Mama! We heard a chuckle. We turned to Andy who was just behind him. "Oh! This is my ï¬ancé. Andy Estrada." He introduced himself. Yuri held out his hand. Andy looked at him for a moment before accepting it. Suddenly, I disappeared from their sight. Couldn't I just be a ghost? No one noticed me when this Yuri arrived. But I wasn't sad. It was a favor for me to get out of the house without them noticing. Kuya Angelo was busy on his cellphone. Lola was chatting with Tita Gema while serving. The sky was dark, there were no stars and the air was cold. It looked like it was going to rain again. I checked my cellphone, hoping he would at least reply to one of my texts. But still nothing. Shit! I was starting to regret it. Why did I let Yuri kiss me that day? Why didn't I make sure we were okay before we went home. I felt someone's presence behind me. I turned slightly and saw him also looking up at the sky. I sighed deeply. "What are you doing here?" I asked Yuri. "Accompanying you----." "Not here!" I said annoyed while pointing at the road. "...Here with us, here at home!" He bowed slightly. "Angelo texted me. He said he would introduce me to your mother." I didn't speak anymore. I looked up again. I felt the wind hugging me again. The quiet surroundings slightly cleared my mind. He was carrying a broom. "Your mother..." Yuri broke into the silence. "...she looks like you." I looked at her as if in amazement. "Really? I don't know that." Instead of being annoyed by what I did, she just laughed at me. I said that to annoy her not to be happy. I'm probably the daughter and many have told me that she looks like me so what I heard from her wasn't new . "She still looks young... How old is she?" He continued, ignoring my annoyed look at him. "I think he's 34." I answered lifelessly. "...I didn't really know, so don't ask." "34? You mean... he only got married when he was 16 or 17?" "Yes... It's like we're going to go ahead with the marriage." I answered him sarcastically. He laughed a little. "I won't have children right away." Shit! The sudden chill that came over me after he said the word 'child'. Shit is creepy! I wish he'd used a different word. This guy is ï¬ne too. I looked at him annoyed. "Tsk! Come inside!" "W-why?" "I don't want you with me... Stay inside." His face was serious with a hint of sadness. "Jay-jay... I know you're mad at me. I can't change that. But I will still apologize." I covered my face before moving it to my cheek. I also took a deep breath to relieve my chest a little. I don't want to get mad at him. "If you don't realize it. I'll explain to you... If you hadn't set up that wedding, we wouldn't be like this. I wouldn't have been confused and most of all, I wouldn't have hurt you." I explained calmly. I would have been inside and already eating. "Just the ï¬rst time... I prepared myself for the pain. I knew you looked at Keifer differently so I already had a clue that you felt differently about him." He looked up for a moment. "...but I was hoping especially when you said yes to this engagement." "Because I thought there was no other way. Brother Angelo and I would just ï¬ght and ï¬ght to force this wedding. Besides..." I hesitated if I should say more but he needed to hear it. "...y-like your mom. I can't stand to see you hurt again. I want you to experience happiness too..." I bowed my head. "...but I can't do that." If only you knew how much I want to love you the way you love me. But I can't force myself. But I can't command my heart. Every time I squeeze my pussy, Keifer is the ï¬rst thing that comes to my mind. Waving and saying 'tss' in my brain. Overflowing with charm, flirtatiousness and handsomeness while holding a glass of wine in one hand and a cigarette in the other. Wearing red boxers with a reindeer head----Wait! Why am I thinking that?! "I understand... But there's no turning back. I won't take it back. I won't give up and I won't let you go to Keifer." He said seriously. My mouth parted. My tongue retracted again to speak. They didn't get along again when I had so much to say. Enough Yuri! "Jay-jay? Yuri?" Mama called from the gate. Yuri looked at him while I didn't move or move at all . "Come in... Let's eat." Mama told us. "Okay. You go ï¬rst, we'll follow." Yuri replied. Mama smiled at her and went inside. Yuri looked back at me. I remained in my previous position. "Let's go... We'll wait inside." She said as she approached me. I immediately stepped away. "I-I don't understand you." She took a deep breath. "Right now, you really don't understand." I just shook my head. The mess was already getting worse, she was making it worse. I rushed inside and let her outside. I knew she would follow. I might as well not! I went straight to Tita Gema's dining area where I could hear their loud laughter and conversation. There were many empty seats but the one next to Mama had a plate ready. I didn't want to sit next to her so I sat next to Grandma. There were no plates and cutlery ready. Grandma looked at me in surprise but I ignored her. "Jay-jay... Sit here next to me." Mama ordered. "Just here... I prefer to be next to Grandma." I answered seriously. All she could do was smile. I knew their eyes were on me but I chose to ignore that. Brother Angelo's gaze was even more intense. I might die! Yuri also sat down next to Grandma. Where I should have been next to her on the other side. I didn't look at him and focused my attention on the table. The maid gave me a plate and cutlery. "Let's pray ï¬rst..." Grandma said and waited. We followed and started praying. After that, they started eating. I didn't have an appetite, no matter how much and delicious the food was in front of me, I wouldn't feel hungry. "Eat now, Grandpa." Grandma whispered to me. I smiled and was about to get some food but suddenly Auntie's maid came in. "Excuse me." She said. "...there's someone outside. They're looking for Miss Jay-jay." They all looked at me. I had no idea who that person was. I didn't know what trip he was on to come see me at this hour. "Are you expecting a visitor?" Tits Gema asked me. No, he wasn't. I shook my head. "Who is he?" Kuya asked the maid. "I-I don't want to tell." The maid replied. "Go see Jay. It might be important." Grandma ordered. Yuri stood up with me. I looked at her in surprise. I didn't know if she was Jay-jay now. "I'll come with you." She said. "Don't... I'll just go." I didn't feel like answering. I didn't wait for her to say anything. I left and immediately went straight outside. So many things were playing in my mind as I walked. It felt weird. When I got out of the gate, I was stunned. I felt like everything around me had stopped. Even time had stopped----in my mind. Almost four days. He hasn't answered my calls and texts for almost four days . I've been going back and forth to his house to say hello to him for almost four days. He hasn't shown up for almost four days. I've been up all night thinking about him. "Keifer..." I almost whispered. His hair was messy, his eyes were deep-set and his clothes were rumpled. But even so, he still looked handsome. He gave me a narrow smile. I slowly approached him. I wanted to yell at him and curse at him. I wanted to punch him in the face. I wanted to get angry at him for worrying me. All sorts of things played in my mind. I thought his Daddy had hurt him. But his gaze made my tongue twitch. Almost four days but it felt like ten years had passed. I wanted to ask him so many questions. Why did he disappear. Why didn't he show up for me. Why didn't he even call me. But out of all my questions, this was the only thing that came out of my mouth. "Have you eaten yet?" He laughed a little and walked towards me. "W-why---?" Here he is! I didn't ï¬nish what I was going to ask. He grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him. I collapsed into his chest in shock. He hugged me tightly. "I miss you..." He whispered. I closed my eyes. I savored every word he let out. His voice seemed new to my ears. My hands and arms spontaneously hugged him. I watched the tightness of his hug as if I was making up for the days he was gone. "I miss you more." I whispered. As our hug lasted longer, I could only breathe in his scent. It was a mixture of alcohol, cigarettes and obviously perfume. The smell was annoying. But at this time, this was the most ragrant scent for me. "W-where are you from?" I asked while still hugging him. "London." His answer was terse. I pulled away from the hug and looked at him in surprise. Seriously?! "London?" "London. England. United Kingdom." He clariï¬ed. "U-what do you mean?" "I met my cousin." He answered seriously. "Can you explain properly." I asked. One question, one answer because it's happening. We won't be able to clarify this. Maybe we'll ï¬nish the conversation tomorrow. "It's about Kaizer, my Dad. I visit my cousin and other relatives, hoping that one of them can help me..." He took a deep breath. "...but they don't want to help me. They don't care about us anymore." That was the reason why he wasn't showing any emotion. He was probably having a hard time with his daddy's troubles. Even I would have a hard time in such a situation. "W-why?" I asked with a mixture of concern. They were relatives, they should help each other. Now that Keifer doesn't have a guardian by his side, they should support him. "That's the problem with the Watsons. If there's no beneï¬t to them, there's no reason for them to bother..." He smiled but it turned bitter. "...they can't beneï¬t me that's why they don't want to help me." I bowed my head. He no longer has a mother and he doesn't even have any relatives to approach. It seems like his situation is difficult. Then I have the courage to complain about my life. I don't have a father and I don't feel like I have a mother but Aunt Gema is there to make me feel like I have someone to approach. I shouldn't complain compared to Keifer's life. He's rich after all... You're not. "B-why didn't you even text me?" I changed the subject. "...I was worried about you." He held my hand. "I have to do that in order for me to stay longer in London. When I read your text or hear your voice, I'll come home right away to see you." I didn't know if I should be happy about what he said. I thought he was still angry with me that's why he managed to hide me but it turned out he left because of a family matter. You're so funny Jay! "Did you just get back?" I asked while watching him. He looked tired. It was like he had done a lot. He also looked like he was up late because of his eyes. "Yeah... I came straight here because I wanted to see you." He replied and smiled. Wew... "Sira... You should have rested right away. There's still school tomorrow." "Let's not go in." My forehead creased at what he said. It seemed like he was possessed again. He was saying something else. It was like he was out of his mind. "No way... What are you!" "Why? Let's go for a walk. Let's have a date." Date?! I think I want that. We haven't really had an official date with this guy yet. That's why if we don't go in, he might end up with Kuya Angelo and I'll take a look. "Maybe only on weekends." I suggested. "No. Only tomorrow. Please..." He asked. "...I'll take you to the beach." I wanted that! It's hard to refuse this guy. He brought my hand he was holding to his mouth. He kissed the back of my palm and my ï¬ngers. "Because Keifer... He might come to see Kuya." I said and he looked at me sadly. "Please Jay... I really miss you so much." I bit my lower lip. I looked around the house for a moment. I really wanted to go with Kuya but I was scared of Kuya. The day he wanted us to go on a date was a work day. I also didn't want to disappoint him so I was confused. Keifer continued to kiss my hand. And I felt like that was his way of convincing me. A seductive smile flashed at me. I wanted to go with him so... "Okay. Let's go on a date tomorrow." I whispered to him. He smiled and was about to touch my cheek but he suddenly looked at the gate and stopped. I immediately looked there because I was afraid that maybe he saw Kuya Angelo but he didn't. "You're already home." Yuri said bored. Does he know? "Yeah..." "Hhmm..." Yuri said while nodding. His gaze shifted to Keifer's hand. I tried to pull my hand back but Hari tightened his grip. I just bent down and bit my lip. He's really crazy! I don't know if this guy was on purpose. They might even ï¬ght right here in ront of the house. When that happens, Kuya Angelo will know everything. I'm going to get angry! "Yuri! Did you see Jay-jay?" Mama's voice. Your hand still doesn't want to let go of your hand. I feel like a child trying to snatch a toy from her. My hand almost dropped just by pulling it but she still didn't want to let go. "Yuri... Where is---?" Mama stopped asking. She was surprised because of Kiefer and I's hand. Even I was surprised to see us. Yuri didn't react and didn't move. Let go, brad! "Jay-jay." Mama called my name as if she was ordering me to explain. "Keifer..." I whispered. "...let go. It's my mom who's in front of us." I looked at her before completely letting go of my hand. I walked closer to Mama who was looking at me strangely. "Good evening." Keifer greeted Mama and walked closer. "...You're Jay-jay's...?" "Mother." Mama replied curtly. "Are you sure? You're his brother." Keifer said. I saw Mama smile slightly but she tried to pull it back. She was obviously trying to be stubborn. I'm just not sure if she could hold on. What's your objection to this King's flirting? "I'm Mark Keifer by the way." He extended his hand to Mama. Mama accepted it and the HELL KING immediately kissed the back of her hand. He didn't take his eyes off Mama as if he was showering her with compliments. Her cheeks immediately turned red----ugh! She was so excited by the flirting! Even though she didn't want to, I smiled at her because she looked thrilled. I guess I inherited a flirting habit?! "*Ehem* Have you eaten yet?" Mama asked. "Not yet. I just came home from a trip." "Eat here." Mama said, widening my eyes. She looked at Yuri. "...That's probably okay, right?" "Yes of course. Besides Keifer is also a friend of mine." Yuri replied and smiled. I felt like screaming loudly to contradict them. BECAUSE I CAN'T! Kuya Angelo might ï¬nd out the truth. They might get heated and start a ï¬ght. Mama went inside with Keifer. Yuri followed them and here I was, left stunned by what was happening. Enough with the flirting! My grandmother was a victim before. Now it's Mama. Okay! Who will be next among my relatives? Try your Aunt Jenny. I rushed inside. Yuri was already sitting in her place but Grandma moved her seat. I looked at Kuya and Aunt Gema. Their surprise was obvious and they were asking why this Kumag was here. It was a good thing that Aries was still in the hospital being watched by Tito Julz. He was the number one person who would protest. "You're here." Mama ordered and made me sit in...my place? Wait a minute?! Where am I supposed to sit?! I looked at the bench between Keifer and Yuri. Grandma wasn't there and when I looked for her, she was already sitting on the chair next to Mama's place. "Thank you." Keifer said and winked at Mama. Mama turned to me and I could see her red cheeks. I just winced at her look. She was about to take out a Mamon and she was about to look like a baby. The truth?! Teenager? "You're here, Son." Mama told me while pointing to the bench between Keifer and Yuri. I sat down there and Mama returned to her place. I looked at Andy who looked like she didn't like Mama's attitude. You're not alone. They started eating. Even though I didn't feel like it, I was forced to join in. Every mouthful of food I took, I looked around. I felt like I might have a heart attack. "What are you doing here?" Kuya asked directly. We all looked at him. His question was so rude. Tita Gema looked at him as if she was visiting him but she ignored it. "To see Jay-jay." Keifer replied casually. "What for?" Kuya asked again. I just nodded. I could feel something strange in Kuya's questions . I didn't know if he was suspicious of us, this sneaky Kumag. "There's no reason." Keifer replied again. The two of them stared at each other. I have to admit that tension was starting to build between them. Add to that the King of the Snakes seemed to be getting annoyed again . I knew everyone could see the look they exchanged. "Hhmm... If you don't mind. I just want to know your name." Andy whispered . This is really bad! "Keifer... Mark Keifer Watson." The King replied. Mama's expression suddenly changed. She smiled as if teasing . "You're just a Watson. That's why the charisma is different." Mama said and looked at Aunt Gema. Aunt Gema gave her a mean look in return. It was as if she was saying 'don't start'. Keifer's Daddy said he knew Mama and Aunt Gema. That's probably why Mama reacted like this but I don't understand Aunt Gema's reaction. "What's your relationship with Jay-jay anyway?" Andy asked. I almost choked because of his question. If not ----ugh! Bwisit! This guy asked a good question. Can he just eat and stop talking? It felt good to bang my head on the table! "He will be my bestman." Yuri suddenly said while looking at me. "No. You will be my bestman." Keifer turned to her. Now they exchanged sharp glances. I'm still in the middle of them. I might get hurt! "Are you getting married?" Yuri asked sarcastically. "...Tell me when so Jay-jay and I can make sure we can make it." Stop! "Of course. Make sure Jay-jay can make it." Keifer smirked . "...It would be awful if my bride didn't come." Yuri's eyebrows urrowed. Keifer was clearly happy with his annoyance. I couldn't help but bow my head. I was embarrassed because of their ï¬ght. "Excuse me... What the hell is going on?" Kuya asked authoritatively. He was irritable and not happy with the way these two were acting. I bit my lower lip. I knew, I could feel it and it was impossible that he wouldn't be suspicious. "...Jay-jay!" He called me, making my body tremble. "...What's your relationship with Keifer?" Shutanginames! I looked at Keifer and Yuri who were also waiting for my answer. That's all I can't answer. I don't know what to say. I look at Grandma who is worried about me, at Aunt Gema who is also worried. Mama and Andy are waiting for my answer. "W-what----" "Were more than friends, but NOT less than lovers." Keifer interrupted. The table shook violently. I just hit my head and at the same time, Kuya Angelo hit me. That's it! It's gone! They already know! Keifer is great. He's great. "When did this happen?!" Kuya asked angrily. I didn't answer. My forehead remained pressed to the table. I wanted to cry because I knew I was going to be hanged. Jay was already tumbling. "Angelo... Calm down ï¬rst." Tita Gema stopped him. "Calm down?! How am I going to do that?!" As Kuya continued to push, I felt a hand on my thigh. I looked up, it was the hand of the King's queen. I hit it hard to remove it. You're so stupid! "S-sir Angelo?" The maid suddenly interrupted. "What?!" Kuya replied angrily. "T-telephone... They're at the hospital." The maid replied tremblingly. I immediately looked up and looked at her. Could it be about Aries ? I couldn't help but be nervous. Maybe something had happened to him. You don't have a cousin who's so grumpy anymore. Aunt Gema and Mama stood up at the same time. They were both worried. That was natural for Tita because Aries was her son. But or Mama, I couldn't help but be surprised. Kuya Angelo went out to answer the call. Aunt and Mama immediately followed him. Andy followed too. There was no video there. We were the only four left in the dining room and Grandma looked at me strangely.
