Chapter-195

Old Jay-jay

Jay-jay's POV

The music is so loud, I can't hear what
Percy is saying anymore. I just looked at him as he continued to speak.
Is he really saying something?! It's like his mouth is just opening.
"WHAT?" I asked him.
He brought his face closer to mine and spoke again but I couldn't really
hear him. I glared at him.
His mouth was just wide open, no voice! Animal!
"You idiot! I'll kick you!" I threatened him and he laughed out
loud.
I can still hear his laughter. Isn't
this guy abnormal? He has the power to trip people up.
"WOOOOOHHHHH!!" The music was loud and the people were screaming
.
We were at Kingsground now. In the disco part, not the underground.
Percy brought me here, he said it was nice to vent our frustrations
here.
We looked at the man in black who was approaching. He was big
and wearing a gold chain necklace.
Bouncer!
"You're being summoned upstairs!" He said and pointed to Tiger's office.
Percy and I looked at each other before following him to
PP AP's office. As before, the stairs were the only way to
his office. When we entered, Tiger was standing next to the large
glass window where we could see the people below.
Unlike downstairs where the music was loud, here there was no noise whatsoever
.
"Boss." The bouncer said and Tiger faced us.
Son of a grasshopper!
This guy really got in shape. He was just wearing shorts with
a sun and umbrella design. He was wearing beach walk sandals and a faded sandal.
He was also wearing a big hat. His
get up was so summery!
"Jay-jay!" He greeted me and was about to hug me.
I immediately moved away when I saw his bushy armpits because of his
height and hair length. Mud! I wish it would have been less. What
used to be disgusting to me.
"Why? Don't worry, I smell good even though I don't bathe."
He said and laughed.
Really disgusting!
"You haven't changed anything Tiger." Percy interjected so
his attention shifted to him.
"You were one of Angelo's pets before..." He said and smiled. "...What's
your name again?"
I scratched my head. I really couldn't remember him by name. Even then,
it took him a while before he remembered Aries and his name.
"Percy." He answered annoyed.
"Ahh right... Perting!" Tiger said and laughed.
"Percy." He repeated it but Tiger still laughed at him.
Oh my!
I looked at the big mirror. The people
on the dance floor looked so happy. They were dancing along to the loud music and kept
dancing as if they were never tired.
They were so good.... They were so good at having fun like that. I was jealous,
I also wanted to be happy like them. I also wanted to be happy
without any problems.
Everyone was so lively. Some were dancing on stage. Some were kissing in the
corner and some were dancing like no one else.
I hope I can be happy like them.
Because of what happened to me, I don't know if I can be
happy like them. I feel like I'm now consumed by
sadness, pain and anger.
I was deceived by the people I considered family. The
people at home lied to me and most of all, the person I thought loved me used me.
I don't know if I can still be happy despite what
happened.
"....It's better if we talk first." Tiger said so
I looked at them. "...Bring out the most expensive liquor." He ordered the
bouncer.
He immediately followed. He approached a cabinet and opened it.
It turned out to be a vault inside. He pressed something and
a bottle without any label came out.
Is that liquor?
I had no intention of sitting here and watching them. It's so boring!
I walked closer to Percy.
"Can I have it downstairs?" I asked while Percy looked at the
bottle.
"Of course I can... You just can't drink it." Percy replied.
So what's that! What am I?!
"What's not?!" Tiger asked annoyed. "...Let him drink
. The liquor is free for you!"
I wanted to clap my hands in joy. Son of tokuwa! It's only once in a while that
you stumble upon free liquor.
It's my lucky day!
He gestured to the bouncer and he immediately came out. I left
my stuff next to Percy. I walked outside and immediately
headed straight to the bar area.
With so many people, I almost had to rush to
my destination. A bump here, a bump there, there was still a lot of pushing and shoving.
My arm was still hurting.
Approaching the bar, I sat on a stool. The
bartender raised an eyebrow at me while looking at what I was wearing. I was still in uniform.
"Costume." I told the bartender.
He just nodded even though it was obvious he didn't believe me. I saw
Tiger's bouncer and he whispered something to the bartender.
He looked at me before nodding and going back to what he was doing. I didn't
know if I should ask for alcohol. Maybe he wouldn't give it to me because of
my uniform.
"FVCKING SHIT!" A man shouted loudly not far
rom me. "...DO NOT TOUCH ME!"
"DON'T FVCKING TOUCH ME!" A woman shouted.
I had no intention of looking at who they were. I didn't want to get involved in the trouble. I didn't want
to get involved in other people's problems and then end up being the one who
got hurt.
I don't want it anymore!
"What do you want to drink?" The bartender asked.
I didn't know what kind of alcohol. I only had San Miguel Beer but they didn't seem
to be around here. Their alcohol would be expensive and I didn't know them yet.
"W-what do you give to a broken hearted person?" I asked inquiringly.
The bartender shook his head while smiling because of what I said. Do I know
what they give their customers? I don't know anything
about this, especially about their alcohol as well as what to drink.
He took out a shot glass and poured alcohol into it. He brought it closer
to me while still smiling.
This is it? Since it's small, what effect does it have on the body?
I looked at the other customers who were also holding the same glass.
They were touching each glass quickly. I imitated their way of holding it
and did the same quick touching.
Whore! Ugh!
I swallowed straight away and it was like I was drinking fire. It was pulling at my throat
and chest. I closed my eyes because of the bad taste.
I gasped!
I heard a woman laugh loudly. I immediately
looked at the one next to me.
"First timer?" she asked me.
I ignored her. I put down the shot glass in front of me and
the bartender immediately poured it. I was about to reach for it again but
I was stopped because of the woman who was making fun of me again.
She was still next to me and was staring at me. I was starting to
get irritated with her. I looked at her with a mixture of annoyance in case
she felt it and left. I
'll punch you!
"What?" she asked innocently. "...keep drinking, don't mind me."
I did as she said. I quickly took a sip of the shot glass and
I felt the same way again. It felt like my throat was burning from the heat
of the alcohol inside me.
After putting down the shot glass, I looked at the woman next to me.
She was still looking at me while smiling. It didn't seem like she really intended to
leave my side.
"Do you need anything?" I asked a little annoyed.
She laughed a little. "You're so fun to watch drinking."
Eh?
I raised one eyebrow. It must have hit him so hard in the brain. Maybe
he was drunk and he thought I was the one he was trying to trip. I was about to open
my mouth to tell him to leave but a man walked up to him.
He immediately pushed the man away and pushed him hard. "What the fvck?!"
"He's making a mess again, Bro!" Said a man who was
probably with the one who walked up to me.
"Can you?! Get away from me!" The man next to me said annoyed.
The man who walked up to him just laughed. They
talked for a while and it was like they were insulting the person next to me. I was annoyed with them
because they were disturbing my drink.
I faced the bartender again and asked for more when he gave it
to me. I was about to touch it when a hand walked up to me.
Shutanginames!
I quickly removed the hand that had almost reached my chest.
I turned around to glare at the animal who had done that. The man
who walked next to me was the one in front of me now and was smiling broadly.
"Fighting too..." The man behind him said, laughing.
I looked at the woman next to me. She was about to cry as she tried
to push the men who were insulting her away.
"Shit! You're a high school student?" The man in front of me asked.
Oh no... elementary!
"From HVIS." One of the men said. "...I heard that the
students of that school are being released."
My eyebrows furrowed at what they said. Release?! What did they
mean by that? Their smiles became wide. The six of them who were just now
insulting the person next to me were now me.
"Don't bother us anymore! Go away!" The one
next to me was shooing them away.
"Shut up Savannah!" The man in front of me said and looked at me.
"Are you alone? Do you want to come with us?"
I really don't want to fight. I don't feel like it.
My body is still broken from problems but these kinds of times are really
unavoidable.
Badtrip!
"Really?" I asked innocently. "...will you join me?"
The guys smiled and the others high-fived.
They must have thought I was one of those HVIS losers.
"Of course. Wherever you want." The person in front of me said with a smile.
I smiled at him too and held the shot glass in one of my hands.
"Even in the sky?"
They laughed and looked at each other for a moment before answering me. "Why not? If
that's what you want."
They were really boys...
I smiled at him again and prepared my hand. "Why don't you
go first?"
You're going to be a boom! Kissing!
Before he could answer, I poured the contents of the shot glass on him. Right
in his face so I took the opportunity to kick him in the
chest.
"Shit!" They shouted.
The people near us immediately looked at us. The others
didn't care and continued what they were doing.
Just dancing!
"OMG" Savannah said who was still next to me. "...that was freaking
awesome."
"You idiot!" The other one shouted and was about to throw me at him but
the bouncer grabbed him.
"No messing around here!" The bouncer shouted and picked them up one by one.
The people had already returned to what they were doing so I returned to
my seat. I looked at the shot glass in my hand. The
contents were wasted.
"What a cool thing you did!" Savannah said excitedly.
She's still here?!
"...thank you for saving me. I'm Savannah Shane."
She introduced herself and held out her hand to me.
I wasn't planning on paying attention to her but just by looking at her it was obvious that
I was going to be teased. I held out my hand to her.
"Jay-jay." I answered lifelessly.
I was about to ask for another drink when I finished, because this woman next to me was really bothering
me. She started talking about all sorts of things
about the men who were rude to us.
"...those guys are really rude... Anyways, thank you again for
saving me."
"I didn't save you." I said, stopping him. "...I just had
those idiots get out because they were a nuisance."
He just shrugged and started talking again. I didn't answer and
just stared at the shot glass. The alcohol hadn't taken effect on me
yet, so I was still floating. My heart was still heavy from what
had happened.
My heart was still broken!
"Why are you quiet?" Savannah asked right in front of me.
Yes! Right in front of my face. I moved away slightly because of the loneliness
. I was starting to get annoyed with her.
"W-nothing. I just wanted to drink more because the bartender was busy."
I replied.
She laughed a little and forced a look at the bartender.
He was really busy, busy flirting with another customer.
"Can I ask you something?" She asked while smiling at me.
"You're already asking."
She laughed again. "What is your problem?" I looked
at her in surprise. "...Well, obviously you wouldn't drink like that if you didn't have
a problem."
Obviously?! You're a jerk.
"You don't have one." I almost whispered but he seemed to hear me.
"It's okay, you can tell me. We're friends----."
Whut?!
I immediately cut him off. "Friends? How long ago?"
He laughed again. "Just a while ago."
I was starting to get annoyed with him. It was as if he couldn't tell that
I didn't want to talk and I'd rather drink.
What, Ateng?!
"...So tell me what your problem is. School? Family? Or
love life?"
I looked away from the last word he let out.
That's a bad word, bad for your health. He laughed again and started hitting
me.
Just a little more! I'm going to punch you!
"Are you broken-hearted?" He said as if accusing me.
I was about to answer him and send him away but he suddenly grabbed
the shot glass from me and waved at the Bartender.
"...You're drinking the wrong thing." He added.
When the Bartender approached, he immediately mumbled something. The male Bartender's expression was
clearly disapproving
. He looked at me before turning his
gaze back to Savannah.
They talked for a few moments before the Bartender moved.
He took some alcohol and put it in a glass. He added some more
and shook it.
It looked like they were trying to poison me.
After mixing the ingredients, he poured the
contents into a shot glass and set it down in front of me. I looked at the Bartender and
Savannah who were just smiling at me.
"What is this?" I asked a little annoyed.
"That's 'Broken Hearted Medicine'. I discovered
it myself." He was bragging. "...and you won't get drunk from it, don't worry."
I pointed to the shot glass. "What's the point of this if it doesn't get you drunk
?"
He laughed again. "Just try it!"
Just to quieten this woman down. It was getting late and I was going back to
Percy to take him somewhere else. This guy really gave me a headache
.
I drank the contents q
uickly. I closed one eye because of the
taste. It was sour, bitter, and minty. But unlike before,
this one didn't scratch my throat.
"Okay, I drank-----."
What the.... Fudgie barr!
I couldn't finish what I was going to say. Everything
around me started to slow down. You literally slowed down!
I closed my eyes and squeezed my senses. My head hurt,
I didn't know if this alcohol was taking effect.
"Savannah! What did you make me drink?" I asked.
She didn't answer, so I opened my eyes. It felt like something
was flowing through my body. My spirit woke up and I felt like
I had so much energy.
Shit!
I even managed to drink ten coffees. My heart was beating so fast.
I looked around and everything seemed beautiful in my eyes.
The music was so loud and it felt like I was going to dance.
"What feeling?" Savannah asked with a smile.
I smiled without realizing it. "Shit! It's waking me up!
Hahahaha..."
Even though nothing was making me happy, I seemed to be having fun. She also asked
or a drink like the one she gave me. She drank it and suddenly
stood up.
"Let's enjoy this night!" She shouted.
She grabbed my hand to pull me towards the middle of the dancers
. When we stopped, the music got louder. I smiled when
I saw the people who just kept dancing.
I wanted to do that too!
Even though I didn't know what dance step to do,
I still danced. I raised both my hands and just kept moving.
"Wooooohhhhhh!!!" I shouted loudly. "...Party animal!"
I heard others near me laugh. We continued dancing
and so did Savannah. My blood was alive and it seemed like there was no
end to our dancing.
Go! Go! Dance!
If I could always feel like this, it would be great to live. There are no
problems----do I have any problems?! There is nothing
I am escaping from----am I escaping from anything?! And I have lost the reason why
I drink----why am I drinking?!
Why do I seem to forget something?! Hahahahaha...
"Savannah!" I called to my companion who continued to scold me. "...am
I forgetting something?!"
She nodded. "You forgot to find a date!"
Date?! Is that it?! That's easy!
I looked around. I was just looking for someone to pick up. A
man caught my attention. Handsome and looking very serious
while looking...at me?
Target acquired!
He was standing in the middle of a crowd of people. He wasn't dancing. He was
just standing there staring at me. I bit my lower lip.
I was about to walk closer to him but Savannah suddenly put her arm around
me. It seemed like she saw what I was looking at.
"That's a chickboy." She whispered and laughed. "...The name is Keifer."
Putcha!
Suddenly, everything flashed back to me. The reason why I was here.
The wound I was trying to treat. The words he let out.
The pain I was feeling. This needs to go away again!
I want it again! I want what I drank earlier!
I forced myself to go back and find the Bartender earlier. He was still a little shocked
to see my appearance.
"Just one more! Please!" I pleaded.
He shook his head at me. "Only one per person! It's bad for the
body!"
I felt like I was about to cry because I couldn't understand. I need it, I want it.
"Go ahead... Please!"
"Miss! Not really----."
"Give it to me, Kuya!" Savannah whispered, who was following me.
The bartender sighed deeply. He took another sip of
the same wine and mixed it. When it was lowered in front of me, I immediately drank
it.
Shit! Here it is again!
"Let's go!" Savannah said to me.
We went back to the middle and continued dancing.
I felt different than before. My spirit is more awake.
My heart beats faster .
I feel like I'm alone even with so many people. It's like I'm the only one
dancing even with so many elbows bumping into me. I feel so warm
even though the wind is cold.
"WOOOOOHHHHH!!!" I scream. "...Disco! Disco! Good! Good!"
Savannah laughed beside me as we continued dancing.
I also started laughing for no reason. We looked like we were crazy because of
our laughter but we were just really happy.
There was endless joy!
I looked at a man approaching us. He was looking at me
while smiling. His eyes were blue and sparked when
the light hit them.
"Hi!" I greeted him as he approached me.
"You look so happy!" He said.
"I'm just enjoying the night!" I replied and danced in front of him.
"Really?!"
His words came across as a bit sarcastic to me but
I just smiled and nodded.
Suddenly his smile disappeared and he became serious. "Enjoy! Enjoy! Let's go!
I'll take you home!" He said annoyed.
Oh! Koya must be crazy! His mood suddenly changed!
"Why would I come with you?! I don't even know you!" I replied.
He suddenly hit me. I grabbed my neck because of the
orce of what he did. I must have gotten dizzy!
"That's it! Do you remember?!" He asked annoyed.
I was crying from the pain of him hitting me. I felt like
I was going to lose consciousness. I looked at him evilly and when the light passed through
his face, I remembered!
"P-percy?!"
"My neck is effective!" He was bragging. "...Let's go!"
"I don't want to!"
"Are you going home or are you going home?!"
It's annoying! This is so stupid! I'm still enjoying it!
