Chapter- 247

Fly

Jay-jay's POV

Unbelievable bubbles — it's really unbelievable! Because of the King! This school is really infuriating me. Our P.E. teacher made us leave the gymnasium. He even looked down on us, saying we're not important to this school. In the end, we all went home separately.

I was annoyed when Drew left earlier. Even the Ulupongs got annoyed and followed Drew's lead.

"Jay," Yuri called out to me. "...did you call Percy?"

I nodded. "He said he's on his way."

Yuri smiled, looking apologetic. "Sorry, I had something important to attend to. I wanted to give you a ride."

Earlier, he was supposed to give me a ride, but he suddenly received a text message. He was told to go home and that they needed to discuss something with his grandfather. He asked me to call Percy to give me a ride instead. He didn't want me to commute.

I poked him on the arm. "It's okay, Aries and Percy will give me a ride."

He smiled, looking concerned. "I really want to make sure you're safe. Your life is in danger."

It's still about Sato! When will my problem with that guy end?

"I know. But like I always say... I can take care of myself." I said confidently.

To be honest, I feel like someone's always lurking, waiting to kidnap me. I feel like I shouldn't go anywhere alone.

I saw Ci-N and Felix approaching us.

Luckily, the Kid in Black had already taken off his mysterious costume. It would be embarrassing if he walked out of school looking like that. People might think he's crazy.

"Are you going home now?" Ci-N asked, looking sad.

"You know my life is in danger," I replied.

Just a while ago, Yuri confirmed that the entire Section E knows about the threat against me. The King knows too, but it seems like he doesn't care.

Ci-N looked down, and his face fell. He seemed to want to do something, but he couldn't.

"I want to go for a walk with you," he said, his voice trembling.

That's what I want to do too. "It's not possible, Ci-N. We need to ensure Jay-jay's safety right now." Yuri said.

"Tama si Yuri. Join us in giving Jay a ride instead," Felix added.

Ci-N let out a deep sigh. "Fine. Whatever."

I felt a pang of sadness too. It's not supposed to be like this. My life shouldn't be in danger.

"Weeeee..." I heard Ci-N's excited shout.

He quickly ran to the swing set and started playing. He seemed so carefree, and it was infectious.

"Too bad he's happy... my siblings aren't," Percy said sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes at him and walked over to Ci-N to sit on the swing next to him. I started swinging too, but not as high as Ci-N.

"Jay! Look! I'm flying!" he exclaimed.

I looked over, and he was indeed swinging very high.

"Ay, gago!" Felix shouted.

He was on top of the slide, and Felix didn't want him to come down. Every time he tried to climb down, Percy would lower the side, preventing him from getting down.

"Kuya! You're mean! Let me down!" Ci-N shouted.

I couldn't help but laugh at them. They're really showing their childish side.

"Seriously? You're going to cry?" Percy teased.

Ci-N looked like he was about to cry. "I want to go down!"

Percy kept teasing him, and Felix tried to intervene.

"Is this what you call taking care of Jay-jay?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

David appeared out of nowhere. "I saw what happened. Are you okay?"

Ci-N looked at him. "David!"

He was still looking at me, concerned. "I saw it from the CCTV. I rushed here as soon as I saw what happened."

I stood up, dusting myself off. "I'm fine. Thanks for asking."

He smiled. "Good thing nothing serious happened to you. Your face is your fortune, after all."

I glared at him. "You're making fun of me, aren't you?"

He chuckled. "Maybe a little."

I pouted. "You're going to regret this."

Percy and Felix were still arguing, but when they saw David, they immediately stopped.

Ci-N pointed to the distance. "I saw something!"

"What is it?" we asked in unison.

He looked hesitant. "I-I saw... ice cream!"

His eyes widened in amazement.

We all looked at each other, shocked. "What?!" Percy exclaimed.

"Where?!" Felix asked.

Ci-N pointed again. "
