SOMEBODY NO BRAIN

The music teacher, Mrs. Johnson, smiled warmly at me. "And now, class, I'd like to introduce our new student, Luna Zender."

Sonia's eyes widened in outrage, and she jumped to her feet. "ANYBODY CAN BE LUNA!" she screamed, her voice echoing through the room.

I smiled sweetly at her, unfazed. "Apparently, somebody without a brain can be Sonia," I replied, my voice calm and even.

The classroom erupted into gasps and snickers, and Mrs. Johnson's eyes widened in surprise. "Okay, that's enough," she said, trying to restore order. "Let's welcome Luna to our class with some respect."

Sonia's face turned bright red with rage, and she glared at me with pure hatred. I just smiled back at her, feeling a sense of satisfaction. I had stood up for myself, and I had come out on top.

The rest of the class was a blur, with Sonia shooting me dirty looks whenever she thought Mrs. Johnson wasn't looking. But I refused to back down, meeting her glare with a calm, steady gaze.

When the bell finally rang, signaling the end of class, I breathed a sigh of relief. I had survived my first confrontation with Sonia, and I had come out on top.

As I gathered my things and filed out of the classroom with the rest of the students, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. I had stood up for myself, and I had shown Sonia that I wasn't someone to be messed with.

Olivia caught up with me in the hallway, a grin still plastered on her face. "Girl, you are a total rockstar," she exclaimed. "I've never seen anyone take down Sonia like that before."

I laughed, feeling a sense of camaraderie with Olivia. "Thanks," I said. "I just didn't want to let her get away with being a bully."

Olivia nodded vigorously. "I'm so with you on that," she said. "We should hang out sometime and swap stories about Sonia's latest antics."

I smiled, feeling a sense of belonging. "Sounds like a plan," I said.

As we walked down the hallway, the three brothers, including Xavier, walked past us, surrounded by their bodyguards. The brothers were all dressed in sleek, expensive-looking clothing, and their bodyguards looked like they meant business.

Olivia and I watched as they disappeared around the corner. "Wow, they're really something else," Olivia whispered.

I nodded in agreement. "Definitely," I said. "I've never seen anyone like them before."

Olivia leaned in closer. "You know, there are rumors about the brothers," she whispered. "Rumors that they're involved in some pretty shady stuff."

I raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What kind of stuff?" I asked.

Olivia glanced around nervously, making sure no one was listening. "I don't know if I should say," she whispered. "But let's just say that the brothers are not to be messed with."

As we walked to our next class, Olivia turned to me with a smile. "Hey, I want you to meet my friends," she said.

We stopped in front of a pair of students who were leaning against their lockers. One was a tall, athletic-looking guy with a charming smile, and the other was a quiet, introspective-looking girl with a book clutched in her hand.

"Guys, this is Luna," Olivia said. "Luna, this is Ethan and Ava."

Ethan grinned at me, while Ava nodded hello. I smiled back at them, feeling a sense of warmth and belonging.

"Welcome to our school," Ethan said, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "We don't often get new students here."

Ava nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it's a pretty tight-knit community," she said.

I smiled, feeling grateful for their friendly welcome. "Thanks," I said. "I'm looking forward to getting to know you all better."

XAVIER'S POV.....

I hadn't seen any girl stand up to Sonia like that before. She was beautiful, with mad killer hips. I couldn't help but smile. I couldn't imagine anyone standing up to Sonia, let alone challenging her.

Sonia had been pestering me nonstop, showing everyone in school that she was my girlfriend, behaving like she owned me. It was irritating.

Just then, one of my brothers walked up to me. "Man, have you seen the new girl that just got into school?" he asked.

I nodded, still thinking about the new girl. "Yeah, I've seen her," I said.

My brother, Gabriel, raised an eyebrow. "And?" he prompted.

I shrugged. "She's...different. Stood up to Sonia like it was nothing."

Gabriel whistled. "No kidding? That takes guts. I'm impressed."

I nodded in agreement. "Yeah, me too. And she's...beautiful."

Gabriel grinned. "Xavier's got a crush!" he teased

I turned to Gabriel. "I'm not interested in her, Gabe. I'm just impressed that she stood up to Sonia. Nobody ever does that."

Gabriel raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, Sonia can be intimidating. But this new girl...she's got guts."

I nodded in agreement. "Definitely. I'm curious to see how she'll do here."

Gabriel grinned. "Well, if anyone can handle Sonia, it's probably this girl. I'm looking forward to seeing how it all plays out."

As the richest and hottest among the three of us, I, Xavier, had a reputation for being cold and quiet, with a chiseled, playboy look that left girls weak in the knees. But unlike my "brothers", Gabriel and Alexander, I didn't feel the need to flaunt my charm and good looks to get attention.

Gabriel and Alexander, on the other hand, were notorious ladies' men. They had a way with words, and their charming smiles could disarm even the toughest of girls. They were always surrounded by a flock of admirers, and they lapped up the attention like cats in cream.

But I was different. I kept to myself, observing the world around me with a detached air. My quiet confidence and brooding good looks only added to my enigmatic charm, leaving girls curious and wanting more. Gabriel, Alexander, and I had been friends for years, and we'd adopted the habit of calling each other "brothers" - a testament to the strength of our bond.
