Trouble comes!

When Cheng Shan walked into the the room, what appeared before him was a massive stone stelle with ancient inscriptions.

Just from the moment he set his sight on this stelle, he had a feeling as though some ancient being was watching him. But the feeling kept appearing and disappearing.

"Don't panic! This is just the spirituality of this tablet. But compared to the others, it is still weak. After all the number of people that really practice this martial arts can be counted by one hand." The old man seemed to feel Cheng Shan's hesitation and confusion after entering the room.

"I'm not scared!" Cheng Shan indeed refuted this. After all he was just a young adult that still had some hot blooded nature. How could he let an old man claim he was afraid.

"Whatever you say." The old man clearly didn't believe it.

Even so, he was impressed by his strong spirit. "But then again, you are not bad. Not many people have such a strong spirit to be able to detect the spirituality in this stone stelle."

He then turned to the stone stelle, before saying, "This stone stelle is among the many heritage techniques of the human race, left behind by our strongest ancestors. The complete inheritance of the Dragon Elephant technique can be found in this one."

He looked at the calm eyes of the young man as well as the intense evil spirit and killing intent, his eyes softened slightly.

Clearly he was very fond of those humans that contributed to their race by killing demons, in such large numbers. He thus said, "I like you, so I'll give you some reminder. Once you leave this room, to enter again will require gathering contribution points. Good luck."

He didn't continue speaking, but Cheng Shan could already tell what he was hinting at. The entrance to the rooms with different martial heritage would require contribution points for each entry. It was thus important to take his time and grasp the technique before walking out. If he failed, he might have to waste time gathering contribution points again, that might have otherwise been used on something else to increase his strength.

"I know! Thank you senior!" He didn't forget to thank the old man. Not many people will go out of their way to show kindness and if they are he would also be nice and polite.

The old man only smilled as he walked away, thinking, "This little Brat is interesting. Even though covered by killing intent, he can still act politely."

Watching his figure leave and the door close, Cheng Shan sat down on the cushion before the tablet. It was miraculous and the moment he sat down, most of his uneasiness was suppressed by some force.

Clearly he was shocked and couldn't hide this suprise on his face. But he didn't plan on wasting such a good chance. He started to regulate his breathing and state of mind.

He then opened his calm red eyes looking the tablet. The strange inscriptions on the tablet seemed to have come alive from the tablet and moving to form a number of complex runes in the form of a dragon elephant creature.

The creature made strange movements and each movement kept bringing about unique runes. The moment they appeared, strange phenomenon followed. There was thunder, then fire, darkness, ripples and the more they appeared the strain it became on his spirit.

He still didn't have the best knowledge about this, and he couldn't be blamed. But if other experts at the seventh heaven knew this, they would be shocked.

The reason was simple, each of this runes indicated the Divine Abilities of the Dragon Elephant. As a divine creature, it has a lot of abilities but the strongest are the only thing it might be known for.

But the others still existed and what he was using his spirit to observe and curve in his mind was endless abilties. If he had reached the seventh heaven, perhaps he might have been able to choose and only focus on what his body resonated more with. But at this stage, he had yet to discover this.

Clearly the difference between the nine heavens was not just spirit and physical sublimation, rather the changes that came along with it.

Just like that, he would focus on the inscriptions and then runes form. After he got tired, he would let his spirit recover, then continue to imprint the runes on his mind. He had been in the room for about 16 hours.

This level of patience was even better than most adults, but at the end of day, he only could withstand this much consumption. But even so, he felt that at this level, what he had gained was enough to train to a high level within the battlefield.

When he observed the entire transformation of the Dragon Elephant, it could be called the growth process. He had a clear direction on his path of cultivation.

But he wasn't in a rush to leave the room. He rather focused on the artistic conception of the creature. He observed it from when it let out a roar. This time he wasn't trying to imprint the runes, rather the artistic conception.

It was as though an explosion had been set off in his mind.

A resonance of imprints he had gathered and the technique on the stone stelle happened.

The moment this happened, he didn't delay, and took out the bottle with golden liquid.

He unlocked it and poured all the contents into his mouth. If it was before he might not have dared to do this, but his physical strength was not bad.

The roar and resonance become stronger, and his entire perspective changed. He found himself standing in a the void. A massive creature was before him, and he couldn't tell just how massive it was.

The more he looked at it, the more awed he felt. The creature was so massive it was giving him the illusion it was the heaven and earth in this desolate void.

On the outside, his body was also changing, as it has turned blood red. The golden liquid he has ingested, flowed around his body washing away at his marrow before gathering towards the dantian.

From a far, it was as though steam was rising from his body, and a strange odour kept coming out of his body.

In the dantian, the vague phantom of a dragon elephant was slowly becoming corporeal and roaring into the heavens. An incomplete inscription was also revolving around the Dragon Elephant phantom. But even so, a stronger aura surged from Cheng Shan's body.

The pressure was clearly from his breakthrough and it didn't stop until he completely reached the middle stage of fourth heaven. It caused the air to vibrate in the room, and his presence gave off a feeling of being immovable.

Clearly his attempt on grasping intent had paid off then the runes he had imprinted in his mind. But he didn't regret his actions, as the runes would be important for his future path.

Cheng Shan was unaware of this, as the resonance in his mind become stronger and stronger. It was though he was becoming more and more suitable for the Dragon Elephant technique. The reason for this being the dragon elephant essence. It was serving its purpose well.

Finally, in his perspective, the massive creature in the void let out a savage ancient roar.

Roar!

The void fractured like glass from the roar and then then shattered, but other than the roar, nothing else could be heard.

It was just that the moment the void collapsed, he barely show a shadow in the darkness. The moment he saw it, he felt something different.

It was a malevolent aura, and the aura was able to agitate the Dragon Elephant to become violent. It was as though it was disgusted by it.

Along with the roar, great hostility emanated from the Dragon Elephant that made even the killing intent that comes from Cheng Shan seem like nothing.

He could see that void was shrinking because of the killing intent, it smashed it's front legs in the direction of the collapsed void and the result was a strong destructive force vaporizing everything.

He couldn't even keep up with what was happening, as his spirit had been completely consumed. He passed out instantly.

He required another two hours to recover, and discover he was sleeping on the cushion. The only difference was that he had the the entire Dragon Elephant technique and the essence was absorbed pushing him to the mid stage of fourth heaven.

"I have completed the fifth stage of the dragon elephant technique through focusing on intent alone." He seemed to have realized something.

"To move from the fourth to the fifth heaven, it seems that I will have to focus more on intent. To put it bluntly, my accumulation is too deep and the only way to speed up my breakthrough to the fifth level is to push the Dragon Elephant technique to the Sixth level." He didn't seem panicked at all.

He felt this deal was not bad.

"Now all that is left is waiting for a while to completely recover and can head to the battlefield to kill the demons." His eyes remained indifferent.

"It's time to leave!" Standing up, he opened the door easily, before walking at his own pace.

When he walked out of the door, he could an old man sitting calmly, and he just turned to nod at him slightly before closing his eyes.

Cheng Chang walked out of the merit hall and looked into the sky.

"This kid actually was able to last about twenty hours in that room!" as he walked further from the merit hall, the old man couldn't help but complain secretly.

Cheng Shan that had just walked out of the merit hall, bumped into two figures dressed in military uniform.

"Cheng Shan?" One of them asked with a stern face.

"Yes!" Cheng Shan replied without much change in expression.

"You have been accused of causing Chaos on the battlefield and endangering lives of your comrades by hidding your high level cultivation!" The other one spoke up.

"You have to come with us!"

Hearing this, he wasn't bothered at all. He didn't hide his cultivation. Besides, the military was not a place to joke around.

"I'll cooperate!" He immediately gave in.

"Good! Then follow us to the military Corps!" Seeing he didn't act tough the leading army man eased his tone slightly.
