"Well... How come I get the stick, and you get the particle beam weapon?"

"You are a human! You are not trained in the proper use of high-energy weaponry. I also thought that you would be more comfortable with a stick. It is a traditional Earth weapon after all."

"Would you prefer a rock instead? I'm sure we could find one suitable for you. Though I thought you may be offended at the use of such a primitive weapon."

"To be honest. The stick is not much better than a rock."
