Tarsier
Jay-jay's POV
Finally, it's Friday. I can rest for a two-day weekend. I don't have to put up with the face of the Keifer-kwanan animal. "Jay." he called me and I winced. "What?" I replied annoyed. He pointed his index ï¬nger at me and made a big cross. I think what he was doing was called ï¬nger heart and winked at me. I saw Felix, Edrix, Eman, Eren and Calix laughing. It was like they were tickled in the ass by what they were doing. I blinked because of the indifference to what the animal was doing, which was a slobbery, crazy, stupid, reckless, shameless, traitorous, scoundrel, scoundrel, scoundrel, scoundrel, King of his fellow Vulupongs. "You're so far away, my shoes will reach you if I throw you." I said before turning my back on them. I heard loud laughter from his companions. Keifer cursed them one after another. "There should be food between your ï¬ngers." I heard Eman say. "Look, it'll be exciting." They laughed again. They looked happy to ï¬nd me and they really did touch their King. I looked at the door when Ci-N came in, looking very depressed. "Have you seen Drew?" he asked me. I shook my head. "He's not here yet. Why?" "He owes me more. I don't have any money anymore, I'm so tired." he said annoyed and sat down on his bench. What a pity. "How much did he get from you?" "Piso." he answered as if he was about to cry. He still managed to overcome the severe test while saying the word peso. It was as if he had lost a ï¬nger and his life was over. It's just a peso, what if he's the one who owes 5000? "Back to the 8 pesos he owes me." "I'm so embarrassed that I still haven't paid him back." I almost whispered but he ignored me. "Jay-jay, I don't have any money. I've already spent it on new games." He was still in tears while looking at his palm as if watching his imaginary money. "Poor me." He has no control over money. If he doesn't set aside enough, he won't spend it, but if he buys what he wants, his money will run out. He can't really be independent yet. He seems to hate money a lot when he touches it. "I feel like I'm a bum." he added before leaning on his desk and muttering. Just because he owed another peso, his madness seemed to be working again. He could feel the hardship with every penny he missed. "It's just a peso. I'll give it to you." I said and was about to grab the wallet from the bag but Ci's head suddenly rose. "Dabid is coming." He said as David's presence was like a radar . "Let's go." I smiled at what I heard followed by a nod. We immediately stood up and left the room to meet Gulayat's opponent. We had already gone down to the ground floor when we saw the target. We waved at him. "Dabid!" We called out at the same time. He scratched his head. "Are you going to go?" We nodded. He sighed before heading towards the cafeteria. We hadn't even gotten far when someone called my name. We turned around and Rory, who was approaching, greeted me. "Where are you going?" He asked while holding my arm. "I'll just borrow Jay-jay for a moment." I couldn't answer when he pulled me away. He kept looking around as if he was looking for someone. I just felt embarrassed because he was like a fool. "What?" I said annoyed and grabbed my arm. "Did you see if Freya was there?" I shook my head. "She doesn't look like she's there yet. She usually hangs out in ront of the main building with her henchman." She nodded. "Okay. Let's wait for her and then give this to her." She opened the bag and took out a small teddy bear with a pink rose in her arms. She also took out the killer love letter. I smiled when I saw the cute teddy bear. It's a good thing she gave it to someone. I only know that I've only just arrived in London and there's no teddy bear yet. There's an island. I arranged for Rory to deliver. She glanced around the parking lot and when she saw the witch's car, she pushed me. "Oh no..." I complained but she just urged me to walk. I pouted before approaching Freya's car that had just parked. I waited for her to get out and when she saw me, she quickly frowned as if her day had been ruined. "What now?" he asked me annoyed. "They said it was for you." I said as I handed him the teddy bear and the letter. He took it and looked at the teddy bear. I saw a smile flicker on his lips but he quickly took it back. "This is so corny." He commented and answered me and walked past me. Corny but smiling. I waited for him to go away before I approached Rory. I gave him a thumbs up . "I thought he didn't want to. He had a big angry look on his face." "He always looks like that." I answered and walked away. He followed me. It was a good thing the two Ulopongs waited for me. "Where are you from?" Ci-N asked. " That's right. He was just delivering something." Rory answered. "Where are you going?" "Cafeteria." David answered. I saw Rory's smile. "Are you going to have a drink? I'll take it." Oh my. David didn't have time to answer but he immediately grabbed his arm and walked ahead to the cafeteria. I saw Ci- N's anger . "It's too much. David, don't let that go." The young man said. Rory turned to him and just glared at him. I thought they were going to ï¬ght, but it was good that we could see the target. Because it was still early, there were a lot of students coming in. Rory quickly let go and came to the front but Ci fought him. They almost pushed each other. "I want a shake!" Ci said to the vendor. "Manang, 1.5 liter coke." Rory while dragging Ci away. I pouted. It's too early for 1.5 liter coke. What's in his stomach? It looks like there's a monster inside. "These Section Es are already early." I heard a student say to his companion. "Don't pay attention to them, they might get hot on you." His companion replied. "As if." I moved away from them a little because I was irritated. This one is not afraid to speak, I might not be able to control myself, so I'll just suddenly hug him. "How can he last?" I heard from another student. "Is she really the only girl?" His companion asked. I guess I was their topic. "Yes. Strong, right? Maybe a lesbian." "Maybe. Or flirty too." His companion replied and they laughed softly. I turned to them and stared at them for a long time. I met their gaze just in time. They looked away at ï¬rst but I didn't take my eyes off them and I didn't blink as much as I could. "W-why?" One of them asked. I suddenly raised both my hands while bending at the same time raising one leg. It was like I was doing kung fu in my position. They were slightly surprised and fell back. "Jay! Who is your enemy? Why are you in a ï¬ghting position?" Ci asked as he approached me. The people in front of me immediately walked away. The other students who were supposed to buy left at the same time but they looked scared of me. There was no one in the cafeteria except for us and the vendors. They were scared. I lowered my hands and feet. "Nothing. I thought it was an enemy." I looked at what they were holding. Aside rom the coke, they also bought some food, like hotdogs, hamburgers, and sausages on sticks. "I'll buy it." I said and approached David who was paying the cashier. "David! David! Me too!" He turned to face me and I noticed the soft drinks and hamburgers he was holding. He handed them to me and took the new one the endor had handed him. "Wait a minute, I'll order for you." He said and I smiled. Nice. Nice. David. "Thank you." I said happily. I started to lick what I was holding as I walked closer to Ci. He laughed when he saw the ketchup spread in my mouth. "Are you really hungry?" He asked teasingly. "No way. Just a little." I answered before taking another bite. "Let's go back to the room." Rory said and started walking out of the cafeteria. We ollowed. We chewed our food constantly as we walked. Almost no one could speak properly except David because of the noise of our mouths. We hadn't even gotten far from our accommodation when we met the Section D students. They looked at us with annoyance before they stopped and suddenly turned to me. Because I was busy eating, I didn't notice what they did. I tripped and fell straight onto the cement road. I felt my teeth and nose hit the floor. "Jay-jay!" Ci-N shouted before catching up with me. "You're crazy!" Rory said angrily to the person who tripped me. "Rory!" David shouted to stop the planned ï¬ght. I heard the laughter and teasing of the Section D students and the curiosity of the other students who saw what happened. I slowly got up with the help of David and Ci-N. I felt depressed when I saw that my food would only beneï¬t ants. I was crying. "Those are idiots." Rory said angrily as he pointed at the departing group of Section D. My face and knees hurt but my feelings hurt more as I watched what I had eaten earlier. I had only eaten about half of it. I was also gradually feeling the pain in my body from falling. Tears escaped my eyes on their own and when I looked at David I couldn't help but scream. "Daaabbbiiidddd! My food!" I said as tears flowed. "Hala! Jay-jay, don't cry. You're ugly." Ci said and I heard Rory laugh. It was the same. "I'll buy you a new one." David replied and shook my knee but I quickly flinched when he hit something. "T-it hurts." I said and looked at my knee. I didn't see any scratches or bruises but it hurt like a bone. "Try to move your knee." He ordered me, which I did. I groaned loudly followed by a grimace. It felt like my knee had been hit hard. I also felt my elbow and that's when I noticed the pain starting. I cried even more because of the physical pain I had. And it was the fault of those Section D pests. We haven't had any trouble in a while but it seemed like they wanted to start a ï¬ght in our section again. "I can't walk like this! Daaabbbbiiidd!" I yelled again and he scratched his head. He was clearly confused about what to do with me. If he wasn't laughing, those two guys would be teasing me. Thank you! You've been such a help. We looked at the main building when the bell rang. Class had started but we were still outside. I saw our fellow students running around. "We have to go back." Rory said. I tried to step on my feet but my knees were quickly covered in pain. I was crying again. My food. "There's no time. I'll carry you." David said and was about to pick me up. Before he could ï¬nd a position to pick me up, I climbed on top of him. He was shocked and almost fell but quickly regained his balance. I heard Ci-N and Rory's loud laughter. "Amputee! Looks like a tarsier." I clung to David like a monkey. I didn't know why, but it was better than having to move my knees. "Wrong position Jay." he said and tried to put me down but I held on tightly. "I can't move, it hurts!" I said crying. He did nothing but adjust my position and support my legs. I couldn't blame him because he carried me in front of him as if he were carrying a baby. He started walking and occasionally glanced at me. I was still sniffling as I looked at my food on the floor. We hadn't even been together for long. Now I need to say goodbye. That's a boring Section D. My food was wasted. When David stepped up the stairs, I flinched. My knees couldn't help but move so I wrapped my legs around his waist. "This isn't really a good position." he said and when I looked at him, his face turned red. "Why are you blushing?" I asked and he looked like he was about to gasp for breath. "T-too close." he replied and slightly moved his face away. Every now and then he stopped to pick me up properly. I just hugged him tightly and I could feel his heart beating ast . I was so heavy that he was probably struggling. Maybe this was a sign to cut down on food, because sometimes the signs are wrong. "Is that so, Grandpa David?" Ci asked teasingly. "I will kill you Ci." he replied and the little boy just laughed . We were almost to the room when he suddenly stopped. "I'll put you down now." But instead of agreeing, I tightened my grip on him. "I can't walk, can I? I'll put you down in front of my desk ï¬rst." I ordered. I heard Rory whistle. "This is a hill." He and Ci-N entered the room ï¬rst. David sighed before walking again. But unlike before, his walking seemed to slow down. As soon as I entered the door, I heard a series of whispers and comments. "Braselton." Sir Alvin. "You're a dead kid." "Get down, Jay. It's not a good combination with Keifer." Someone said in a singsong voice. "Why are you lifting Jay-jay like that?" David slowly put me down even though I was still far from my desk. As soon as my feet hit the floor, he suddenly fell to the floor. The Snakes cursed one after another and almost one after another they also approached to pull Keifer away from David. The events were too fast. I didn't even manage to blink and the scene that was clear to me was the King of the Snakes stepping on David who was already on the floor. "Grandpa David! Grandpa David!" "Enough Keifer!" "Listen to David's explanation ï¬rst!" "Tangina! That's enough!" "What are you thinking Jay-Jay?" "Who are you betting on?" Keifer would have had no intention of stopping if Sir Alvin hadn't intervened. Rory, Eren and Kit immediately pushed David away while Edrix, Yuri, Eman, Drew, Felix and Calix held Keifer tightly. "How dare you hold my girl like that?" Keifer said angrily to David. "Is it bad to help Jay?" one of them replied. The King planned to rush in but the other Snakes joined in to restrain him. "Calm down ï¬rst Keifer." Sir Alvin ordered. I still didn't move from where I was standing. They were in a mess but one thing was clear to me. It was like this. He was like this while mercilessly beating Kit. Why didn't it seem like nothing had changed? I looked at Keifer who was still struggling. "Why are you like that?" I asked, grabbing his attention. "Why did you say you've changed but you're still the same as before?" I could see the change in his expression. "It's still like that, you still hurt your friend out of jealousy." I said and my tears felt like they were about to fall. I felt like he was disappointed. He was disappointed in what he said and what he promised. "Don't give me that look." he replied to me. Gradually, those who were trying to restrain him let go of him. "I did. I did change Jay. But don't do things like that â€"." he said as if it was my fault. "Why are you blaming me? If you knew how to be patient, you wouldn't have hit them â€"!" "You're hurting me!" he shouted, silencing me. "This is not just jealousy. Seeing you with David as if he owns you is hurting me." "David is my friend. Why is your mind so dirty?" I said annoyed . "It's not being mentally dirty. Any man who sees the woman they love will feel the same way." I looked at the Snakes behind him. The rest of them nodded and obviously said that he was right. It was still my fault. "David helped me because I couldn't walk after stumbling upon me. Even if my reason was valid, is that still wrong?" "Why did he have to carry you in that position? It would be okay if he carried you or lifted you in a proper way, but in that position it was like he was shouting that you belonged to him." he said angrily and couldn't help but get really annoyed. It turns out that it was my fault and why he hurt David. I was wrong because I let him carry me in that position. "What now? What now for youâ€"?" "No." Ci whispered. "Are we there?" The Ulopongs reacted one after another. Some turned their backs and slammed into the wall. Others were slapped on the forehead. "Magic word." "No more." "The ï¬ght is over." I don't know but I think what I said was wrong. That was a big slap not only to him but also to me. "What now?" He was imitating me. "What now if we're not there?" We all waited for him to say next. "Is that necessary?" He asked and I winced. "If only I loved you." Suddenly the dumb Ulopongs screamed. Some jumped and some hit me. They almost rolled on the floor. I looked at David who just shook his head while smiling shyly. Sir Alvin laughed softly while shaking his head. Yuri just sighed but he obviously wanted to hit Keifer because of his slap. I wanted to slap him too. His fellow Ulopongs. They were even more excited than me.
