Jin-Won woke up to the warm sunlight streaming through the wooden window. For a moment, he thought he was dreaming—no battles, no nightmares, no shadows chasing him. Just peace and quiet.
He could hear the sounds of life outside—children laughing, the lively hum of the marketplace, and the delicious aroma of fresh food drifting through the window.
Hori stretched and yawned loudly. "Oh, that was the best sleep I've had in months!"
Si-Yeon stood by the window, gazing out at the village. "It's really beautiful… like a place outside of time."
Jin-Won took a deep breath, feeling for the first time in a long while that things weren't as bad as they seemed. "Alright, let's not waste this chance. Let's explore the village."

Adventures in the Village
As they walked through the market, they saw stalls lined up on both sides of the road, displaying fresh fruits, handmade weapons, and even some mysterious charms.
Hori grabbed a large apple and took a big bite before even paying. "Wow! This is the best thing I've ever tasted!"
Lyria, who had been inspecting some flowers, gave him a disgusted look. "At least pay before you eat, you savage!"
Hori smirked playfully. "Oh, sorry, I was distracted by the beauty of the flowers… or maybe something else." He glanced at her mischievously.
Lyria blushed slightly before smacking him on the head. "You're the worst person I've ever met!"
Jin-Won chuckled quietly while Si-Yeon shook her head, amused by the scene.

Helping the Villagers
During their walk, they found a group of children struggling to fix a broken cart.
"Heh, we may be strong warriors, but we can fix carts too!" Hori rolled up his sleeves, excited for a new challenge.
Jin-Won started securing the wheel, while Si-Yeon helped the children gather tools, and Lyria made sure Hori didn't make things worse.
After an hour, the cart was as good as new. The kids cheered in excitement, and the elderly woman who owned the cart handed them a basket full of warm bread and honey.
"You're too kind, Grandma!" Hori grinned, taking the biggest piece.
Lyria quickly snatched it from him. "This one's mine!"
Hori raised an eyebrow. "Oh? We'll see about that!"
A small chase between them started, making everyone laugh.

As the sun began to set, they all sat by the river, watching the water shimmer under the moonlight.
Jin-Won felt something rare—a sense of belonging, even if just for a moment.
But deep down, he knew this peace wouldn't last forever.
