Chapter 10: The First Strike

Chapter 10: The First Strike

The Qin Family estate was a towering monument of power and wealth. Located in the heart of the city, its massive compound was guarded like a fortress, with armed personnel patrolling every corner and high-tech surveillance keeping watch over every movement. The Qin Family had built their empire with an iron fist, crushing competitors without mercy and buying off anyone who dared stand against them.

But tonight, a storm was coming.

Ye Tian walked through the grand gates with the confidence of a king returning to his kingdom. He wore an elegant black suit, his sharp features illuminated under the glow of the estate's golden lights. Every step he took echoed through the quiet night, a reminder that the man they had once called trash had returned.

The guards stationed at the entrance stiffened at his approach. Their hands instinctively reached for their weapons, but something about Ye Tian's presence made them hesitate. A cold, invisible force pressed down on them.

One of the guards finally found his voice. "Stop! Who the hell are you?!"

Ye Tian smirked, his gaze sharp like a blade. "Tell Qin Feng that his nightmare has arrived."

The guards exchanged nervous glances. Normally, they would have thrown out an uninvited guest without a second thought, but Ye Tian's sheer presence made their instincts scream at them not to act rashly.

Moments later, the doors to the main hall swung open. Inside, a grand banquet was taking place.

Dozens of influential figures—business tycoons, politicians, and social elites—sat around long tables covered in the finest dishes and wines. Laughter and conversation filled the air as they discussed profits, power, and dominance.

At the head of the room sat Qin Feng, the heir to the Qin Family fortune. Dressed in an expensive designer suit, he lounged lazily in his seat, surrounded by sycophants eager to gain his favor.

The moment Ye Tian stepped inside, the atmosphere changed. Conversations died down. Eyes turned toward him. A few people gasped in recognition, whispering among themselves.

Qin Feng's lazy smile vanished. His gaze locked onto Ye Tian, narrowing dangerously. "You have some nerve showing up here."

Ye Tian didn't answer immediately. Instead, he casually walked forward and took an empty seat across from Qin Feng. He picked up a wine glass, swirling the deep red liquid with amusement before taking a slow sip.

"I came to discuss business."

The room fell into stunned silence.

Qin Feng's expression darkened. "You? Business? You're just some washed-up trash my cousin's ex-wife married for fun."

A few guests chuckled at the insult, but Ye Tian didn't react. Instead, he placed his glass down, leaned forward, and smiled.

"And yet, here I am… while the Wang Family is in ruins."

The temperature in the room seemed to drop. The mention of the Wang Family's downfall was enough to silence even the most arrogant guests. Everyone knew what had happened—one of the wealthiest families had been utterly destroyed overnight. Stocks crashed, properties seized, and its members left penniless. And the one responsible sat right here, smiling like a devil.

Qin Feng's fingers tightened around his glass. "You think you can threaten me in my own home?"

Ye Tian chuckled. "Threaten? No, I'm just stating a fact. Your Qin Family has something I want. And I always get what I want."

BOOM!

An invisible wave of pressure erupted from Ye Tian, spreading through the room like a storm.

Some of the weaker guests gasped as they felt their chests tighten. One businessman, who had been about to mock Ye Tian, turned pale and gripped the table for support.

Even Qin Feng, with all his arrogance, felt his heartbeat quicken. What the hell was this pressure?!

For the first time, he truly looked at Ye Tian—not as a failure, but as something else entirely. Something terrifying.

Then, Ye Tian's phone buzzed.

He took it out, checked the message, and smirked. His gaze flickered back to Qin Feng.

"Check the news, Qin Feng. Your empire is already crumbling."

Qin Feng frowned, pulling out his phone. The moment he saw the breaking reports, his face turned ashen.

The Qin Family's biggest business had just suffered a devastating blow. Billions of dollars in stock value had been wiped out in mere minutes.

A coordinated financial attack.

The guests who had their own investments in the Qin Family's ventures quickly checked their phones as well. Panic set in. Some of them got up, making urgent calls to their brokers.

Chaos.

Qin Feng slammed his glass down, veins bulging in his neck. "YOU—!"

Ye Tian calmly stood up. "This is just the beginning. If you don't cooperate, your entire family will disappear."

His words weren't spoken as a threat. They were a statement of fact.

Then, without sparing Qin Feng another glance, Ye Tian turned and walked out of the hall, leaving behind nothing but fear and uncertainty.

The first strike had been made.

And this was only the beginning.
