Chapter 9

I don't know how?

Because it's written clearly in his diary.

From college to Nolan's return home, every word tells the story of the regret of separation and the joy of reunion.

July 2011

Nolan is about to leave, and she broke up with me. I'm so sad, but she needs to go abroad for medical treatment, and I can't stop her. Actually, as long as she's healthy and happy, that's all that matters.

We had our last meal together, and she cried. It broke my heart. I wanted to tell her we shouldn't break up, but we've only been together for six months, and we're still so young. I don't want to hold her back, but I promised her that my ring finger would always belong to her.

September 2011

School has started, but Nolan isn't here anymore. I'm really suffering.

That new girl's smile reminds me a bit of Nolan. She doesn't seem to talk much.
