Chapter-4 The Thief

Billy pondered why his siblings were so hostile whenever Aunt Grace was mentioned. It wasn't like she cared when they badmouthed her.

At the Mansion

Butler Samuel: "Sir, how was your day? Did you like your workplace?"

Billy: "Yes, I quite like it." (He chose not to mention the incident with William in his office.)

Butler Samuel: "That's good, sir. But you need to stay alert."

Months passed since Billy joined the company, and just like before, his aunt remained at the company, refusing to leave. Billy carried out his responsibilities, appointing Ryan as the Head of Gold Production. Overcome with joy, Ryan cried and vowed his unwavering loyalty.

Billy: "Keep up the good work."

Life went on as usual until a crisis struck the company—a major leak in the Central Design Department. A spy, who had worked for them for years, had stolen an exclusive design meant for an upcoming exhibition.

Emergency Meeting with CEO Rin Roy

CEO Rin Roy called for an urgent meeting with all department executives. She entered the boardroom with a heavy aura, her footsteps echoing ominously. Sitting down, she smiled and motioned for everyone to take their seats. Some executives sighed in relief, while others felt uneasy.

Ron (inner thoughts): "They're dead. I actually feel bad for them."

Rin: "So, how have you all been? I'm truly delighted—I finally get to rid this company of some incompetents."

Directors (nervously): "What do you mean, Madam?"

Rin: "I mean this."

Without warning, assassins entered the room. A single shot rang out, and a director's head exploded, blood splattering across the table. The other directors panicked, falling to their knees and begging.

Directors: "Madam, please forgive us! We'll fix this! Just give us more time!"

Rin's personal secretary whispered something in her ear. Her expression darkened, and she yelled:

Rin: "You fools claim you can fix this, but how? Turn on the TV and watch!"

The screen flickered to life, revealing the stolen jewelry design being publicly showcased—by another company.

Rin: "The RGB Co. published our design!"

Ron (furious): "Isn't that William's well-known partner company? That bastard stole our design and had it published elsewhere! Rin, you need to teach him a lesson."

Rin: "Calm down. We can't attack him without proper proof. As much as I hate to admit it, I can't do anything to him right now."

Billy: "So you're giving up?"

Rin: "You're the Director of the Design Department. How could you be so careless?"

Billy: "Careless? I've been working hard! I only recently joined!"

Rin: "So you're playing the victim now?"

Without warning, she grabbed Billy by the throat, squeezing tightly. He gasped for air, struggling against her grip. After a moment, she released him, and he collapsed, coughing and trying to catch his breath. Rin left the room with her followers.

Ron approached Billy with a mischievous smile, handing him a glass of water.

Ron: "You know, there's still time to join me. Otherwise, you won't survive in this company."

Billy took the glass, then shattered it in his grip.

Ron: "You insolent brat! Do you know how expensive that was?!"

Billy: "Look, brother, I'm not in the mood. I'll handle this on my own. I will win this exhibition."

Ron (mocking): "In your dreams, Billy! What can you do now? Will you design something more exclusive than the stolen one?"

Billy: "If that's an option, then I'll do it."

Scoffing, Ron left the room.

The Race Against Time

Billy gathered his entire design team, reviewing every detail of their previous designs. He worked relentlessly, without sleep or food, pushing himself to the limit. After a week, he created an extraordinary design and passed it to the jewelry-making team. Another week later, the final piece—a stunning necklace with matching pearl earrings—was complete.

Billy called Rin, explaining everything. When she saw the finished design, she was left speechless.

Rin: "There's no time to waste—we're submitting this to the exhibition."

The Grand Exhibition

The hall was filled with company CEO's, each admiring the displays. Many praised Mr. Samuel from RGB Co. for his "exquisite" design, assuming he would win. William smirked, clinking his glass with a partner.

William: "Well done, my friend. This is just the beginning—we'll be the most profitable company in the world."

Just then, an exclusive black car pulled up, bodyguards stepping out first, followed by Rin and Billy Roy. The room fell silent.

Guests (whispering): "Are they really entering without a design?"

William's confident expression twisted into one of anger.

William (gritting his teeth): "What are they doing here? Have they come to humiliate themselves?"

The exhibition showcased many exquisite jewelry pieces, but the most praised item was RGB Co.'s necklace.

Rin clenched her fists. "That thief stole our design and dares to exhibit it with pride?"

Then, the Roy siblings unveiled their hidden masterpiece. Gasps filled the hall. Their design was breathtaking—natural, intricate, and unlike anything seen before. Even the VIPs and William himself were stunned.

All attention shifted away from RGB Co. and onto Roy Corp. The excitement in the hall was palpable.

Guests: "This is unlike anything we've seen!"

When the exhibition's final auction took place, Roy Corp. secured first place, selling their exclusive jewelry for $175 million.

The Roys were swarmed with congratulations. William, trying to salvage his pride, approached Rin to shake her hand.

Rin (coldly): "I don't shake hands with losers and thieves like you."

William (smirking): "I won't argue. Your youngest brother won this battle for you. But mark my words—there won't be a next time."

Rin: "Do your best. But you'll never win again."
