Master Kè Can Easily Defeat the Traveler by Learning to Act Cute

The Originium art of swapping positions

In the blink of an eye, everyone's expression became clear.

Kanna had thrown three Thunder Wedges, which meant she could swap places with each of them. The only question was how many times she could swap, how long the Thunder Wedges would last, and how far the distance between them could be.

After some discussion, the operators concluded that if the Thunder Wedge lasted over ten minutes and could reach a distance of 1,000 meters, she would have the ability to easily sway the outcome of a local war.

Next, Kanna demonstrated her technique: Four-Way Flash Palm Thunder.

Even though she intentionally controlled the output strength of the Palm Thunder, she still melted the pure iron target in the center in under a minute.

Kal'tsit, observing from above, squinted and calculated, estimating Kanna's combat strength. Given Kal'tsit's experience with "gods" and "beasts," she guessed that Kanna's actual power might be over ten times what she had displayed.

Even so, the combat ability shown so far already far exceeded 99% of Rhodes Island's operators.

"Alright! Kanna, you can stop now."

Kal'tsit's voice came through the loudspeaker.

"Your performance was flawless, and the intensity of your combat far exceeded our expectations. According to the operator promotion guidelines, Amiya and I have unanimously decided to grant you the rank of Elite Operator and assign you to S.W.E.E.P. — welcome to Rhodes Island, and we hope Rhodes Island can become your future home and sanctuary."

The words from the loudspeaker were clear not just to Kanna but to all the other operators who had been watching the whole test.

There was no doubt or objection to Kal'tsit's decision from the others.

After all, Kanna's displayed combat power was terrifying, like a child holding an RPG. What she needed now wasn't to show off but to learn control. And Kal'tsit, being one of Rhodes Island's top psychologists, was the perfect person to handle this "explosive" situation.

After speaking, Kal'tsit turned to Amiya, saying, "Kanna's strength is too overwhelming. Let her train in S.W.E.E.P first. If she can fully control herself, I'll feel more comfortable letting her act as your bodyguard."

Amiya nodded, a gleam of admiration in her eyes as she looked at Kanna below.

As the test wrapped up, the onlookers began to leave. Ace dramatically put his arm around Misery, exclaiming:

"You and Outcast, what kind of luck do you have? How could such a terrifying little thing just be casually picked up in the wild?"

Misery was also somewhat stunned. Although she had suspected Kanna's combat abilities from the beginning, after witnessing them firsthand, she realized her concerns were unwarranted.

If Kanna had truly harbored ill intentions toward herself and Rhodes Island, she and Outcast's team would have been easily wiped out upon first meeting.

Looking at it this way, Misery and Outcast really had great luck. Although they wasted time feeding Kanna along the way, perhaps it was that very act of kindness that caused Kanna to develop such goodwill toward Rhodes Island.

As Kanna stepped out, she saw Outcast, Kal'tsit, and Amiya waiting at the door. She excitedly hopped over and hugged Outcast, then looked up, her face full of pride, and asked:

"Is Kanna super awesome?"

"Ah, yes, yes, Kanna is amazing."

"Then can Kanna eat just a little bit more tonight? Hmm, just a tiny bit." Kanna said, holding her thumb and index finger apart to show a small gap.

"Of course, such an amazing Kanna-chan only wants a little bit more to eat. Who could possibly say no?" Outcast picked Kanna up, giving her a loving expression.
